Cannot upgrade applications - get error about permissions

Hi Everyone,
since upgrading to 10.7 I cannot upgrade any application without the same errormessage.
I try to upgrade the application, tell the system to replace the existing application, give it the admin credentials, .. and get the error message that the task cannot be finished, some objects were omitted... Please check Permisions...
All Permissions should be ok. I did the permissions check and repair without solving the problem.
As Workaround I have to delete the old application and then install the new version... but this is strange and I cannot understand this.
Did anyone else have the same issue? Anyone have a solution or hint?

Boot up holding command-r keys into Lion Recovery Volume.
The screen should give you these choices...
Restore from TM backup
Reinstall Mac OS X
Get help online
Disk Utility
Choose re-install OS X. This will be an install "in place" and shouldn't effect any of your data, only system files.

not really, just do pacman -Syu
Fixed it, for some reason, pacman didn't do a full update. Was wondering why I didn't see much being updated.
Syu did the trick.

Itunes was working fine. Tries to install latest upgrade and get error message about an invalid character in the path "Program Files (x86)". PC, Win7, nothing else appears to be having same issue.

I tried this solution without success. After FixIt ran and didn't find a problem, either in looking for issues with "software upgrade" or "iTunes" it kindly offered to help me uninstall iTunes. I had thought of this as a possibilty but it seems to me that if you do that you lose a lot of "non-native-to-Apple" information you might have entered. I did this once and recovery was painfull. Is there a way to uninstall iTunes without losing all of that sort of thing? Any help would be appreciated.

I am just finally posting a reply. Looks as though the sound card went out. I was told that I could purchase a new open and install myself. I did not do that, but rather my step-dad just decided it was time to buy a new Mac Mini.

Even I am facing a similar problem. Initially the iTunes worked on my windows 64bit edition. Ever since I downloaded the latest version it has stopped identifying my 4S with an error msg that asks me to download the 64bit edition. I have tried it again and again but it did not help. After unistalling and downloading again the new error msg says " the file- iTuneslibrary.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes". Please help!!!!!!!

My Application gets Error 37 when using Serial Port VIs.

My Application works fine developed with LV 6.1. Then I updated to LV 7.1 and now the Executable of my application gets error 37 when using the old serial port functions. The "serpdrv" file is located in the application directory and is from 02/2002. The application runs well in the development environment after I placed the "serpdrv" file in the LabView directory. I tried to put a line with "serialDevices=..." in the .ini-file of my application but this did not cause an improvement. I also tried to rebuild the EXE with this line in the "labview.ini" file but nothing changes.
Does anybody have another idea ?

Yes. E.g. "open serial driver.vi" uses "open device" with "serpdrv" as device string.
I had the same problem running my application as VI´s. After the copy of serpdrv into the LV 7.1 directory everything works fine.
I don´t understand why the application running as a .exe doesn´t find the serpdrv when it is in the same directory....

Have you updated your iTunes on your computer? WIth a device running iOS7, you need iTunes 11.
When you removed iTUnes, did you see something named 'apple mobile device support' or something like it? (The exact name varies from operating system to operating system). If you see that, uninstall it too. That's the drivers for your iPhone and they should self-install when you plug your device in.
If all that is fine, have you checked your cable and USB port? a malfunctioning cable can keep you from syncing.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.)

Network Application getting Errors

Admittedly, I'm a little green on java having only taken one class in college, but I am in dire need of some assistance.
A little background into my issue:
I work for a company that sells a business management software package, and equipment, for running businesses, primarily hardware stores and lumber yards.
We run Linux servers and as part of our Point of Sale (POS) Devices, we have ethernet Ingenico Signature pads. We communicate to the signature pads via java programs to create a socket, send/receive information, and close the socket. The issue I'm seeing is that in times of high volume use, we are getting errors saying that the system could not create a socket. A snippet of code is as follows:

As typing this, I have a thought. We have 1 server and 20 signature pads connecting to the server. Each signature pad uses port 9889. It appears to me that the error is occuring creating a socket on the server, not connecting it to the signature pad. Is it possible that two instances of the java application, that happen to occur at the exact same time, might be trying to grab the same random socket on the server?
How can I resolve this?
What I was thinking was modify the program to use a specific host server port, but this causes a java exception error because it won't use a socket port that is in time_wait status. So I thought to setReuseAddress(true) but cannot get this to work if I create a socket with specific host port. I'm creating the socket with the following:
Socket socket = new Socket(host, port, localip, localPort);
This of course will create the socket but not allow me to setReuseAddress. Any thoughts on how I might fix this issue? Am open to any suggestions and willing to read any information suggested.

Ok, I found my issue now. It's hanging trying to create a socket. Is there a way I can get it to try to create a socket for say... 5 seconds, then stop?

Ok, a couple of notes about what I'm doing here. I have to prove that this is fixing the socket creation error, hence if (sconn == null) section. I did not know where the 3 - 10 minute hang was coming from, so I put the plain = DateFormat and logNow("blah " + now); throughout my code to get several time stamps to get an idea of where issue is occurring. I finally found it here. I do not believe it's looping because I'm not seeing the "could not create socket" error. I put the date in the loop partially to see if it was looping, if for example the socket wasn't created, it looped, and I wasn't getting a true test of sconn == null.

So this shows it's only running through once. I suppose this means I need a maximum time to create the socket, and then just try again... say, 5 times... I know how to make it try again, that's not an issue. I just need to know if I can designate a timeout on the actual socket creation.
NOTE: I also tried just sconn = Socket() then later sconn.connect(saddr,8000) which was in there before with socket factory, and using saddr which grabbed the hostname/IP and port of the signature pad.

JSPM shows a "Cannot initialize application data" error

Hi all
When I start the jspm (go.bat) on my Solution Manager I get an error message after the login process. I attached the Trouble Ticket Report of the JSPM below (I made it anonymous). It is not a login issue (when I enter a wrong password, I get a different error message).
What I already tried:
- Updating the jspm (with SDM -->Remote Gui).
- Deleting old files in profile Folder.
- Checking if there is a "...U" folder in the kernel dir (as described in a note concerning this problem).
- Stop/Start of the entire server.
- Searching for hours in google/SDN/service.sap.
I noticed on the start of the server that the sapcpe.exe Service (shown in sapmmc) is on "red" ("Could not bestarted") > I replaced all sapcpe.exe files in all kernel directories> Still red. Perhaps both problems are in context?

Thanks. I copied the files manually to \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\nuc\NTAMD64. As I can see in the sapcpe.log the files now are automatically transfered to the second kernel dir (:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\exe). Unfortunately for my Java SCS Instance (scs01) the sapcpe.exe is still red in sapmmc (I had already replaced the sapcpe.exe in the scs01 exe dir). In the sapcpe.log file of the SCS01 I see the following error:

Cannot add printer- get error message. LaserJet 1200

I recently bought a dual powered MacBook. It was working perfectly, and finding my printer both attached by USB, and wirelessly. It shows up as Bonjour LaserJet 1200. Suddenly, it stopped working, and cannot be added to the printer list. I get an error message,"client error message too long", or some other nonsense. I have several other computers, running OS X, and none of them have any problem sharing the printer, which is connected to an Airport Extreme remote base station. I have tried everything, and come up with no success. So eventhough the printer is recognized, with its address, and is sharable, it suddenly and without cause, cannot be added to the printer list, and thus I cannot print. Any suggestions. Peter

                Did u mapped pdfSource & dataSource Properly. If yes check whether your Server Configured to run Adobe Forms. See wether ur ads settings are as per the following document

5. Log on to 'User Management' of your AS Java:

6. Display the user ADSUser.
