Cannot upgrade Garageband to 10.0.3

Hi Guys,
I've just purchased my new Macbook Pro. I updated with Yosemite, rebooted a few times and have updated all my apps. Problem is, Garageband isn't updating. The error i get is: The update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was brought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.
I don't have another apple ID so i'm not sure what else i can do to install the update. Please help.

Have you accepted GarageBand to your AppleID when you bought the Mac? Check the "Purchased" page, if GarageBand is showing as purchased or with an Accept button. Press the "accept" button, if it is there to associate GarageBand with your AppleID.
I don't have another apple ID so i'm not sure what else i can do to install the update.
Are you in the same country as you were, when you bought the Mac? If the region in the System Preferences is set to a different country then when you bought the Mac, you are trying to update from a Store, where your appleID is unknown.

I cannot upgrade from iOS 5.-01 to 5.1 on original iPad

My wife and I both have iPads running 5.0.1. Mine is v2 and hers is v1. We both have Macs with 10.7.3 and iTunes 10.6.
When I tried upgraded to 5.1 throguh iTunes I got messages saying I could not connect to the server. A friend suggested I reboot the iPad and my Mac. I did and the upgrade went fine.
I cannot upgrade my wife's iPad, however. Even after rebooting I get an error saying iTunes cannot download the upgrade because her computer is not hooked up to the internet. It is, however. I can access the iTunes store, use Safari, and get e-mail. I then tried to download the upgrade directly through the iPad but after a few minutes I get a message saying the updte failed.
Any suggestions?

Problem solved. I upgraded after switching a cable. Not sure why that mattered but all is fine now.

I just tried the link and it is just fine. If the GateKeeper pops up then open Security & Privacy preferences, click on the General tab, set the last radio button to Anywhere.

I cannot upgrade to iTunes 11.1 therefore I can't sync my iphone to iTunes anymore... any way around this?

Cannot upgrade to 10.8.2 on 13" retina

i just bought MBP 13" retina display and have been trying to update to 10.8.2 to no avail. it keeps giving message as per above. also i cannot upgrade the iphoto as well as it requires 10.8.2 and i have only 10.8.1 installed. it keeps bringing me to the page above. any reason for this?

Try downloading the 10.8.2 Combo update from this site, not Software Update or the App store, disconnect all firewire + USB devicesRepair Permissions, re-install update, Repair Permissions again + try.

Please take a check in the question You might be running an edition of Windows 8 that doesn’t support updating from the Store
in the above article for the editions that won't be able to update from Windows store.

We have planned to upgrade our SCCM 2012 SP1 infrastructure to SCCM 2012 R2 so we have setup test environment to test SQL database upgrade before doing same in production.
But while testing SQL database upgrade on test machine, it is getting failed with below error.

We found out that there were duplicate entries in the PkgStatus_G and the PkgServers_G tables in the SCCM DB. We identified them, deleted them , and then we were able to run the /TESTDBUPGRADE command and it went through fine. We performed
all of this on a COPY of the PROD DB and then moved the changes in PROD. Hope this helps someone.

You should not have to download and install iTunes from Apple in order to get the latest version on your Mac. You should be able to choose Software Update from the Apple () menu.

Installer Error: Cannot Upgrade NI-488.2

Hi all,
I recently created an installer for one of my LabVIEW programs, and when I ran the installer on another computer I recieved this error:
"Installation Cannot Proceed: Cannot upgrade NI-488.2 : This installer cannot upgrade the installed feature set of NI-488.2 prior to 14.0. Uninstall NI-488.2 then run this installer again. This process will remove NI-488.2 Configuration support and Application Development support (if present)."
Can someone help elaborate on this error, and is there is there a way to not force an uninstall for someone who may have the driver(s) previously installed?
I'm new to building applications so I appreciate any help!

I'm including it because I won't know which customers will have it and which ones will not, so I assumed it would be safer including it in the installer.
However, since I'm new to LabVIEW installers I wasn't aware that this could present a problem for users who already have the driver installed. Would you then suggest leaving it out and letting the cusomers know elsewhere that they need to install it (as a consequence of not being able to opt out of the driver) vs forcing them to unistall to properly run the installer?
