Cannot upgrade iPhoto to latest version (iCloud)
cannot upgrade iPhoto to latest version (iCloud). Won't accept my apple id. Asks for user name used at the first download. Never downloaded. iPhoto was already installed with Lion on my new iMac. Any suggestion?
Go to the Purchases List in the App Store and accept iPhoto. Then you'll be able to update it.

If you opened your iPhoto Library with Yosemite and iPhoto 9.6, it can no longer be opened with iPhoto 9.5.1 under Mavericks.
Restore the version of your iPhoto Library that you used with MacOS X 10.9.5 from your backup.
If you cannot restore a compatible version, you need to downgrade the library. This can be done with iPhoto Library Manager.You can download it here:

The only problem is, that iPhoto Library Manager cannot preserve the products like books, cards, calendars.

I have a Mac OSX version 10.4.11 and iphoto 6. I can no longer order cards, prints etc. and cannot upgrade to a newer version of iphoto because I don't meet the system requirements of 10.5.6 or later. What can I do?
Unless you upgrade the OS and then iPhoto, not a lot, I'm afraid.

Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store -
I have a new iPhone 4 which I cannot sync until I upgrade to the latest version of iTunes software (version 10.2.2). what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what fixes have you tried?
how is the EHD where the library is located formatted?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

I was upgrading to the latest version of itunes, and my new ipad mini was connected to my computer at the same time, try to sync for the first time. The upgrade crashed part way through, and now itunes won't load and I get an error message saying MSVCR80.dll is missing. How do I do about reinstalling this file?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Cannot expand my touch screen since upgrading to the latest version of Firefox.
Since upgrading to the latest version of Firefox, I have not been able to expand the touch screen on my PC. I have windows 7 installed. I can still enlarge my screen with other browsers.

Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

I have recently downloaded IOS X Lion and I want to upgrade Iphoto to use with ICloud, I can't see the upgraded anywhere on the computer in system updates or on APP store updates. Where can I find this?
If you have lion and iPhoto '11 (latest version is 9.2.1) you can set up and turn on iCloud there and if you have IOS 5 on your mobile then your mobile devices will sync with your Mac

I am running Acrobat Pro 9 (9.5.5). Do we have to purchase the new version if we have never upgraded? Or are we entitled to an upgrade to the latest version.
I am not really clear on the intention of your question. If you are going to get the latest version you are going to purchase it. When you go to purchase it you should be able to see if there is an option to purchase it as an upgrade from the version you currently have. I cannot find the purchase page to check myself... I can only find the subscription option.

Terrible performance since upgrading to the latest version of Firefox.
Since upgrading to the latest version of Firefox, have been experiencing terrible performance. I have websites load time increase of even hesitate in loading. Also I keep getting the error that my Adobe Flash is not current, even after re-installing the Adobe Flash several times.
Laptop configuration:
Lenovo Thinkpad E530 core i5 processor with 8 GB Ram running on Windows 8.1 Pro.
I am seriously considering dumping Firefox which I have been using since 2.x and going back to MS Explorer which I hate. Any help with these performance issues would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Windows 7 premium 64-bit. I have uninstalled Java completely through Windows program manager. There is no Java in my list of plugins. Every time I update my plugins I get the following message - "Missing JAVA? For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please upgrade to the latest version." I cannot find Java anywhere on my computer. Checked every troubleshooting website I can find but there seems to be no solution.

if so, you can probably safely dismiss this warning since it's likely a mistake. when java isn't present, the site will give that warning message though a webpage cannot detect if this because of java being blocked or if it isn't even installed on the system. -
