Cannot upload xls file in a Document in SAP DMS

Hello Guru,
I have tried to upload a excel file in an existing Document AA00-0123 in both SAP Easy DMS and GUI both i was now able to upload the file having same error message telling "An error occured while creating the original attribute for" how can i upload this excel file to my DMS document? please help.

1) R U able to upload any other file type to the DIR AA00-0123 (word/ppt/pdf etc) ?
2) Can u Create a new DIR and try uploading the same excel file? does that get created?
once u do the above just let me know.

We've put the Java paremeters in Configtool.bat :
-Djava.io.tmpdir=c:/EP_TEMP
-Dcm.tmpdir=c:/EP_TEMP
In Server/Instance. Folders: Message Server&BootStrap and in Servers General and in Instances/Server.

Not enough available memory. Cannot upload the file. [Android]

Why do I get an error message that says: "Not enough available memory. Cannot upload the file." When trying to save a pdf to the document cloud? The pdf is 105MB and I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

I am trying to upload a file in Content Management --> Explorere --> 'Public Document' and get the following error "file.txt" does not exist, or file is empty; you cannot upload empty files.
We have a EP 2004s install.

The error seems to be related to a problem with writing into the directory for temporary data.

I cannot delete a file from the document folder. I can move it to the trash and then empty the trash, but when I go back to the documents folder it is still there.

i want to upload .xls(excel file) into an internal table.....after lots of attempts i came to a conclusion that web dynpro only supports .CSV(another format of excel file) to be uploaded into internal table....i tried many ways....is there a way i can upload .xls file...kindly help me in the same. following is the code i m using

It is not possible to upload an xls file because it will be having some binary characters. better to go with .csv file format.

Makepkg issue: cannot create temp file for here-document

That time it was in /tmp/ruby_headers (which i created) but it happens with yaourt too and for every pkg i tried.

Upload Document in SAP DMS

Hi SDNites,
My requirement is to upload document in SAP DMS and this document we are receiving from an external system. Can you please let me know,
1. Is there any way I can provide a link in ECC SAP DMS for the documents which are stored in external system (SAP CRM) .
2. Also is there any standard FM / BAPI available which uploads a document into SAP DMS (I do not want to pick documents from a local directory).

Cannot Open .xls files in Excel 2010

Before we start, I would just like to say, I've read probably 9 or 10 other threads with no help.
I cannot open any .xls file. Unfortunately the user has already associated the file type with Adobe Reader, so I cannot just double click the files to open them. I have tried the follow fixes with no solution:
-Open With .. > EXCEL.exe (I double click the application and nothing happens)
-Going in to the file extensions page and associating it with the EXCEL.exe application there, but same thing, nothing happens
-I have tried going into the registry and renaming the "OFFICE12"'s to "OFFICE14". Nothing happened
-I have tried going into the Excel folder options and checking off and unchecking "Ignore Other Applications That Use DDE"
-I have searched for the "Microsoft Application Virtualization DDE Launcher" application with no luck
of finding it
-I have tried re-installing and repairing Office 2010
I'm out of idea and have no idea what to try next. Any ideas?

I would suggest you rename the registry key, and then repair the Office programs to create a new key.
For example:
Rename “Excel.sheet.8” to “Excel.sheet.8.old”.
Then repair the Office programs:
Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > click the Office 2010 program that you want to repair, then click Change > Repair > Continue.
You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.

Cannot upload some files to Dropbox through browser UI

I love and defend Firefox but I have to admit that it is giving me some grief lately. I run a Dropbox account which I access through the browser and its UI allows for drag and drop file uploads as well as more 'conventional' file uploading. In recent days I find certain file uploads are OK via Firefox (such as a 1mb PDF) but I cannot upload for instance a 30mb MP3 or a ZIP file - it tries but ultimately fails. A small 500kb MP3 is fine so it seems to be a file size rather than file type issue (there is a Dropbox limitation on file size but I am way below that). Also when using Firefox with the same Dropbox UI, I get odd errors like 'folder does not exist' even when I am not trying to access a folder or 'there was a problem completing the request' when trying to access a folder, even when it then allows access. I have raised all this with Dropbox forum and I am advised it is a browser problem (they would say that right?). However, I have control-tested using Safari and IE, etc, and I cannot replicate any of the problems. Uploads of large files (the exact same files) are fine in those browsers, no odd errors while testing. I was using Fx V 22x on Win7 x64 Pro but today got a push notification to update to Fx v23.0.1 which I have done, but still these problems persist. My plugins were few, long installed, and sound (Tabmix Plus, Firebug, FireFTP, etc) and not conflicted or out of date. Java was not enabled in the browser. However, to further control test, I have just done a Firefox RESET from the help menu and tried again without any plugins running. Same problem with larger file upload. It seems Firefox is having some issues doing things that other browsers are fine about...

I have suffered from this during the past three days.
Firefox 23.0, Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0
on a 32-bit Ubuntu PC. So the system couldn't be more different.
I was trying to upload .MP3 files of 27MB. From about a dozen attempts with one file, no success whatever. On the other hand a different file worked first time. But a later attempt with a 14 MB .wav failed, so it's not related to the file.
On the other hand an upload with Chrome worked perfectly. So it does look like a browser problem.
Watching the system monitor during upload, it runs freely for about 9MB, then stops abruptly. At the same time, the message at the bottom left of the browser window, relating to dl-web.dropbox, disappears.
The text of the message differed between Firefox & Chrome, but I imagine that's just a textual, rather than a functional, difference.

I cannot donload any files pictures or documents from my computer. I have the latest versions

What is "Adobe"? What documents? What system? You need to be much more specific.

Cannot translate .xls file

I'm trying to download and open a .xls file and the translator says it cannot translate it. Does anyone know how I can get it to work? I really need the spreadsheet!

A possible reason for this may be that the .xls file was produced by the newest version of MS Excel.
You may be able to open it using NeoOffice, available from the NeoOffice website.

Upload xls file issue

HI Experts , i am uploading data from xls file , the problem is that if the xls file is in edit mode , the system goes in indefinite loop or hang state , is there any way or function module to determine whether the xls file is being edited or open .

I'm creating Hunt Group via Response Groupconfiguration tool in Site A.
when I try to upload the music file for 'after business hour message' and 'music on hold' it prompt with error
"the file was not uploaded. An error occurred while trying to upload the file.
The file may be too big"
but I can upload the music file in Site B and C Response Group Workflow using the same file, Verified by test the Hunt Group and its working.

below is the recommendation for the MOH file for RGS,
All wave files must meet the following requirements
8-bit or 16-bit file
Linear pulse code modulation (LPCM), A-Law, or mu-Law format
Mono or stereo
4MB or less
For the best performance of wave files, a 16 kHz, mono, 16-bit Wave file is recommended.
get a file converted to above specs and upload. it should work.

Upload XLS File, Loop through rows query a DB

What I would like to do is enable the user to upload an excel
spreadsheet with one column and many row of IP's. Then put the ips
in a list or array and loop through the list and query a table to
get the IPs that match the list.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have some similar apps except that, instead of uploading a
file, the users copy and paste the column into a text area. Then we
do this:
