Cannot use bill pay on Bank of America App

When I try to use bill pay I get error message, "bank account is invalid or inactive." Why?? I use bill pay all the time on my desktop.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

They have already addressed the issue and have eliminated any duplicate charges already. In other words it is fine to use Apple Pay with BOA.

Not if the B of A hasn't chosen to release the app in the Canadian iTunes Store, no. You can only use the iTunes Store of the country you live in (or at least in which you are physically present and have a valid mailing address in).

That's the point I'm trying to tell. Account works weirdly. I bought so many apps with this id and I'm having a problem with some free apps. Free apps also have to appear on every account's purchases tabs (I tried with my friend's account on his MBP and it works as it has to be) but in my account don't. I'm using only one id on my computer and there is no chance to mixing up. I'm having this problem almost more than 1 year. My bill pay program worked with the older version of Firefox (see url below). It does not work with the most current one. I can either wait until they get it to work with firefox 4.0 which may be never, change banks or maybe (please) you have some easy fix that will work for them so I don't have to uninstall 4.0 and re-install an older version of firefox which I can't seem to find on your website, sigh.
so bottom line is there an easy fix and if not can I get an older version of Firefox to use?

In some cases, the incompatibility is due to the new HTML5 parser in Firefox 4. You could disable that and test whether the bank site works again.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''html5''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''html5.parser.enable''' to toggle it to false (it should turn bold).
Then reload the bank page and see whether it works.
And if you need it, here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

Bank of America App?

Has anyone been able to get this app installed and working on the Blackberry? I have the Z10. I go through the process of downloading the app. Looks like it is going to work but then at the top of the screen it says this app is not available for this device According to Bank of America it is. Could it be just the Z10 that it is not available for?

Why can you not use Apple Pay for purchases in the App Store or iTunes?

To make a purchases in the App Store or iTunes, it appears you can only pay by entering Mastercard, Visa, Discover, or AmEx information. If you select none and try to make a purchase, you will again be prompted to enter this information. I would like to use my Apple Pay account to pay for Apps/tunes, but that doesn't seem possible. It seems this negates one of the primary benefits of Apple Pay, which is to make purchases without turning over your credit card information to the merchant, in this case Apple. I know you can pay with Touch ID, but that is only authoring payment from your credit card information you have on file.

It sounds like you are wanting to use ApplePay to purchase content from either the iTunes or App Stores. According to the following article, you are correct. ApplePay is for in-app (if the app supports it) or purchasing from a retail store.

Number keys repeat when using bill pay

When filling in the amount to pay, the number keys will repeat (ie: 3 becomes 33). When I try to delete the extra number, both are deleted. Not sure what to do.

Try another keyboard since it seems like a KB problem.
Also inspect the keyboard for problems like some of the keys do not fully return to the "up" position after being depressed.

Bank of America app no longer works.

I finally spoke to somebody at BofA who confirmed that they are no longer supporting the BlackBerry platform.

I cannot use pay bills on Chase Banks website and I could before this last update and with other browsers I can..

I can access the Chase Bank website and log in. I can only use bill pay with other browsers. I can access bill pay but after that if I manually put in the date to be paid since I can't use the calendar they have I can't get past verify

Go into Settings, iCloud on your iPad & iPhone. Turn streaming on there. I did that when I first set up my phone & iPad & have not had any problems. It will only stream over new photos so take one on your phone & see what happens. I hope that works for you.

What are you seeing on the iPad's screen when trying to purchase things, and is this the first time that you've tried to download anything from the store ?
If it's the first time then unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
If you are getting a prompt to review the account then you could see if the steps on this post by mountaingoatgirl lets you do so without needing to enter credit card details : Re: What do I do if I do not have a credit card.

Payment method /w Paypal -or- Bank of America

I am a seventeen and a half year old that has a job and has just recently (in the past 1-2 weeks) opened up a checking & savings account with Bank of America. I am online with Bank of America and I have setup my PayPal account with my Bank of America checking account. I am having a hard time trying to find a method to pay for a 30GB iPod (Black + Engraving) from the website. Is there any way to use PayPal or the Bank of America website as an option to pay for the iPod?

I'm guessing you don't have a debit card with your new checking acct? If you do, use that in the credit card option. A debit card can be used as a credit card if it has the Visa, etc logo on it. Otherwise, you can use the Bill Me Later option, though by the looks of it, it will take considerably longer that way.

Is there an add-on for Shopsafe from Bank of America?

Since switching to Firefox, I'm unable to use ShopSafe on my Bank of America account. I get an error message that an add-on is needed to use this feature. ShopSafe works fine when I use IE as my browser.
