Cannot use DDNS service in china!

I am use WRT300N V1(Firmware Version: v1.03.6) wireless router in china, and use China Telecom ADSL Broadband service, I want to use DDNS service but never connet to DynDNS.org, please help me to solve the problem,many thanks.

Well what about in the USA? I just bought a WRT300N v1.1. I have a dyndns.org account that has been working for a long time. It worked with my old BEFSX41, but that did not force periodic updates, so my account kept coming up for deletion. I was using DYNDNS Updater instead, but thought I'd give the new router a try to see if the behavior was the same as the BEFSX41. When I hit the update button, it comes back as if there's some error on the page, and the status line is still empty. I have firmware v1.51.2.

ok,
I phoned the DDNS service provider and I understand that they make for you A record and ect. but first you need a DDNS support router and second you have to open the ports yourself.
but the problem is the ports are closed by the ISP provider when you have a consument abonee.
so I thing you must have static IP adress to be the ports 80,443 open , so when I can have static IP adress and make A records by mijn own then I think I don't need this DDNS service provider. am I right or wrong ? wat is the benefit of
DDNS service if the ports in consument abonee situation are closed?

For location the iPod uses the location of nearby wifi routers that are in Apple's database. You do not have to be connected to the network/router to use that router's location. Thus, it appears that the iPod can't see a nearby router that is in Apple's database. or finds one that has it location as China. Apple continuously updated their database based on info they obtain from iPhones. However, I do not know if that applies to India. No one has been able to find a way to inform Apple of a router or correct is location.

I cannot use my iphone4s in China

I bought it last year in Australia when the iphone 4s first time came out, but when I was back to China, I cannot use it with my Chinese SIM card.

It sounds like your iPhone may be "locked" to the specific Mobile carrier in Austalia that you signed up with there. If so, ONLY that carrier is capable of "unlocking" it.

Try Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if better. If still problem, Restore iPhone with iTunes on your computer. See if better. If still problem, and if there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Cannot use Canadian map in china

How can I use the Map of Canada in China on my iPad or iPhone?

on my iPhone 4 with 7.1.2. These cities appeared when I typed in the city in the search bar:
montreal
hong kong
beijing
When I got to hong kong, I reduced the display size and was able to scroll up to Beijing
I started with my home address. reduced the size to the minimum. fingered over to Beijing. Expanded until I got Beijing street names.
All in Apple Maps.

New account cannot use FTP service

Hello everybody,
I got the following problem:
I have set a new network account in the server.app under Mountain Lion.
This new account has no local folder but has access to dedicated group folder through the participation in certain groups. The login by SNB and AFP works perfectly. The account takes over the service access fro the group services. In the group services filesharing and FTP are activated.
Now, I activate the FTP with preferecnes to provide Groups.
BUT: when I try now to login the connection is denied and I get the error message: Server response: '530 User <account> may not use FTP.'
If I use my admin it works.
Does anyone can help me out of this ?

i change the login shell for this user to /bin/bash (right klick on user -> Advaned Options),
now the user can login.

Cannot use mobile service on ally

I activated a new LG Ally yesterday and the data seems to be working okay, but any time I try to make a call or send a text it says the mobile service is not available.
I got the confirmation that the phone was activated yesterday and I can't use my old phone anymore for texting or calling, so I'm not sure what the problem is?

If you are using JBoss.4.2.3.GA - you will need to
* Download the latest commons-discovery.jar file from : http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/commons-discovery/jars
* Copy the JAR file to the following folder:
o For a nonclustered environment:JBOSS_HOME\server\default\lib
o For a clustered environment:JBOSS_HOME\server\all\lib
* Re-start the Application server

Cannot use web services with my Photosmart 6520 e-all-in-one printer.

Everything works and is enabled except web services. Wireless is on and yet not connected to internet. Other devices such as my smart tv and pc are on same wireless router and do connect to internet. ow to connect my printer to the internet?

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you are getting an unable to connect message when you try to enable the web services on your Photosmart 6520 printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers. I’ve included another post that has the instructions and screen shots. It’s for the Photosmart 7510 printer but the steps are the same.

First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. You can check the model you have by entering your serial number here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier.

Hi kaylenmar, I assume videos play normally for you on YouTube and other sites.
There have been several long threads about Yahoo! videos and what might make them different from other sites. The upshot is that different people have found different problems and different solutions. For example, extensions that filter or block ads or prevent tracking can cause problems, as can the click-to-play feature.
One approach that worked for most people who mentioned trying it is to switch to Firefox 24, which is in the final two weeks of its beta testing period. You can expect a few more rough edges with a beta version than with the released version. However, it might be worth it if you don't like switching browsers to watch Yahoo videos.
I suggest making a backup of your Firefox settings folder before installing Firefox 24. This article has tips on doing that: [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]].

I cannot use service: make sticky note

Hi,
I posted the question below many months ago and had several helpful responses but unfortunately nothing helped. Basically I can set up a new user on my machine (24" iMac OS 10.4.9) and the new user CAN use the service "Make new sticky note". I cannot. Very strange and no one knows why. BTW, the replies indicated it was not only me; others had the same problem. Anyone want to add $.02?

I find the ability to copy thiings from an application to a sticky note using the "make new sticky note" command under services very useful but it no longer works (for me) under 10.4.3. In fact, it is no longer even mentioned under Mac help. Does anybody kow what is happening? Thanks,

This post lists troubleshooting steps which are a bit more serious than my first recommendation. Both are in the Automation panel of OnyX.
The second task I ran was Reset: LaunchServices database. A restart is not required, but save any open work anyway.
Information from OnyX: Rebuild the LaunchServices database allows you to remove the links between documents and applications and to correct misc problems. Reset the LunchServices database deletes the current database, its preferences, and creates a new database.
Review the information in the Notes section of this link so you know what to expect. [1] You may be prompted to approve the launch of an application associated with a document the first time you double-click that document. [3] You may find that you will need to recreate associations you have created between specific file types and applications. This is done by using Get Info —> Open with.
Resetting Launch Services
I had also tested all five of the Clear Cache options simultaneously, but I have done that before and Make New Sticky Note was not fixed. If you want to try that, do two things: save any open work because a restart is required, and read this link so you know what to expect.
