Tried to make an in app purchase on google play. would only get blank popup window. Made the purchase with google chrome browser with no problem.

Are you using a bookmark or does this also happen if you type the address of the main (home) page of the website?
Bookmarked pages can become invalid, so you may have to enter the main page and then navigate to the wanted page.
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I am building two sites currently using iWeb. It is relatively easy to use but can feel restrictive. With a bit of perseverance and no coding though you can more or less get what you want.
I export photos from Aperture to iPhoto from where the upload is easy.
Navigation could be better.
Security could be better but the look is acceptable for me at this stage.
Another alternative is Squarespace. Easy to use, lots of options but the cost escalates quickly.

When I click on a tab in the toolbar the tab flies off the screen to the right. Suddenly after using firefox for years I cannot load any pages

I'm using Windows XP. I've used Firefox for years but in recent weeks I've had the following problem. When I endeavour to open an internet site the tab appears in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen instead of loading the page. When I click on the tab it appears to fly across the right of screen and disappears from view. Fortunately we've left an internet page OPEN so that we can redirect our search via that. One last point. When I try to load any site in Links the tab changes to the correct name but then flies off as I've previously mentioned. My kids received iTunes gift cards for christmas and want to use the $$ towards in-app purchases in Clash of Clans. We've already redeemed the cards to their iTunes accounts. Now they want to use them within the app.
How do they do this? If they try to purchase something it seems to just go against a credit card, and not give them the option to use the iTunes credit.

Purchases are always deducted from the credits first. Look at the menu bar at the top for remaining credit. My credit is $23.59.

Yahoo! keeps sending me the following message in a box on my screen along with the links to Firefox 4 and IE : Attention: Please upgrade to the latest Yahoo! optimized browser to ensure the best Yahoo! experience. But, as I stated in the question above, I cannot use Firefox 4 yet because it does NOT support Norton 360. Plus, I don't trust IE8 to use Facebook!

You can't for in-app purchases, when you have a balance on your account then that will automatically be used for your purchases.
For other types of purchase you can try gifting the item to yourself so that your credit card is charged (gifting can only be done via a credit card), but you can't do that with IAPs.

I cannot scroll using Firefox. I can scroll in I.E. and Chrome. This is a new problem. I've used Firefox for years.

Using my mouse pad scroll feature I cannot scroll in Firefox. I've been using Firefox for years and never had a problem before. I can scroll in Chrome and I.E. There are a few websites I can scroll in but not in Yahoo and several other sites. and I can't scroll on the page I'm typing this question on.

Try to modify the pref ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled on the about:config page from the default value -1 to 0 or 1 to see if that makes the scroll pad work.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the pref.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.

[SOLVED]Chromium use Firefox as default app for pdf, unzip...

I have problem with chromium browser. When I don't have Firefox installed, everything works fine - it uses it's own pdf viewer and opens .zip/.tar files with 7zFM. But when I install firefox, it start's using firefox for these things. I tried to play with mime-types and xdg-open, but without success. Any ideas?

Have you tried to install PDF Viewer (the open html5 pdf viewer from firefox) in chromium? Maybe that way it will open pdf files directly in chromium. I use it myself because is an open option rather than the chrome viewer, and it works perfect for me.

Being charged twice for in app purchases with MY SINGING MONSTERS

this has gone on long enough and I'm sick and tired of hearing the same talk over and over again .
For some ungodly reason twice now I've been charged randomly for in app purchases that I have only purchased once ,I have made the purchase using a gift credit but have also been charged to my card which has declined the purchase ,I have contacted support and they say send an email with the details ,I've sent 4 emails and after many weeks am still yet to receive a call back ,the issue with the overcharge means my icloud account has been rendered unusable ,even previous purchases I have made cannot be restored aswell because my sons ipad is linked to my account his has been stuffed up too ,we can't even update our apps and to restore this I could make the payment ,out of principal I refuse to do so .
This overcharge problem has happened twice now ,the first time they said it was a system glitch and they credited my account ,problem solved ,but this time round after completing the instructions I was informed to do I'm still waiting for a fix

Was this an audiobook or was it an iBook? Audiobooks can only be downloaded once per payment. You can avoid multiple payments by transferring the files while syncing.
If it was an iBook it should have warned you about making a second payment. There are specific steps to downloading past purchases.
Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match Availability by Country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
