Cannot use Java Embedding in Jdeveloper 11.4

Hi,
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 . I am using a Java Embedding Activity in my BPEL and when i compile the project, the error which is coming is SCAC 50012. The same is working in 11.1.1.3.0 Jdeveloper Version.
The code i am using in Java Embedding activity is
Logger logger = Logger.getLogger("oracle.soa.Logger");
LogFormatter.configFormatter(logger);
String var1 = ((oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement) getVariableData("inputVariable","payload","/client:process/client:input")).getFirstChild().getNodeValue();
logger.info("Message from Logging level:Info"+var1 );
Please help me with this...
Thanks,
N

I got the Java Embedding Activity working...,I used the following imports in my BPEL....
<bpelx:exec import="java.util.logging.Logger"/>
<bpelx:exec import="java.util.logging.Level"/>
<bpelx:exec import="oracle.fabric.logging.LogFormatter"/>
<bpelx:exec import="org.w3c.dom.*"/>
<bpelx:exec import="oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement"/>
<bpelx:exec import="java.util.*"/>
<bpelx:exec import="java.lang.*"/>
<bpelx:exec import="java.math.*"/>
<bpelx:exec import="java.io.*"/>
<bpelx:exec import="oracle.soa.common.util.Base64Decoder"/>
Hope this helps anyone who have been struggling like me before...
Thanks,

    I can call the service from SOAP UI by providing username and password.Where do you provide username and password in SOAPUI?
    Service endpoint is like : https://myhost.com/ccx/service/hr...It is a SSL call so you need to configure the trust and identity keystore at Weblogic (SOA) server as well. make sure that you have imported the target server's certificate (along with it's CA if any) in your trust store of weblogic. You may refer-
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13707/identity_trust.htm#i1202182
    If it is two way SSL then the target server will also need your server's certificate in it's trust keystore.

  • Using Java Embedding Unzip Code and a Trigger File in a BPEL Process

    Hello,
    Thanks in advance to anyone that contributes with any insight.  It is much appreciated.  Having said that I will get to the crux of my problem.
    I am currently using Oracle 11g.  I have created a SOA composite application that incorporates BPEL and Java.  I have the code needed to unzip and extract compressed folders.  However, when this was first built out using BPEL it automatically created a web service in the "exposed service" lane and not a file adapter which I believe is needed in order to trigger the process via a start.txt file for example.  Based on what I know ... this web service automatically connecting to the BPEL process was simply due to the order of operations, etc.  So by creating a 'read' file adapter first and then creating the BPEL process and selecting the template "Define Service Later", it does not automatcially connect the web service to the BPEL process and it will allow me to connect a file adapter to this BPEL process instead ... great.  When opening up the BPEL file I then connect a recieve component to this file adapter and configure appropriately.
    Essentially, my objective in setting up a trigger to start this unzip process is due to the BPEL process before that outputs or writes the .zip folder to the same directory that I want to poll and/or trigger via a start.txt file.  I can get this process to work with a webservice connecting to the BPEL process and by using a Java Embedded in BPEL file, which in turns calls the package/ class that has the java code needed to unzip.
    For some reason whenever I try to use a file adapter instead of the native web service that gets created (as mentioned above) it doesn't work.  It seems to build or compile just fine however, I am getting errors when I try to deploy.
    Note:  The Java code contains all the paths where the zip file is to be taken from and extracted to.  So because this is in the code I don't need the file adapter to handle this.  I just want to use the file adapter so that I can trigger the process via start.txt or something of that nature.
    Thanks to anyone that has any suggestions.
    Kind Regards,
    Kevin

    Hi All,

  • Start using Java 7 in JDeveloper

    Hi,
    I'm using the lastest JDeveloper and this might be a silly question, but how can i set it up to start compiling using Java 7 sdk? I tried preference but it doesn't have it there.
    Also, i'm guessing i need to do the same for my weblogic.
    -Marvin

    After installing Java 1.7.0 I got "Unsupported JDK version" message during JDeveloper 11g startup. No choice to select any other version of Java with this screen at all. So you have to say "Yes" to "Continue anyway?"question to get started IDE.
    That's the story: I had uninstalled Java 1.6.0_26 after installing 1.7.0, so I installed it again. Then I've added Java 1.6.0_26 by using JDeveloper "Tools-Manage Libraries" feature to "Java Definitions - Libraries - User" successfully. Still I got the same message while starting up..
    Well, should I re-install JDeveloper to fix this or any other idea?
    p.s. I have many screenshots related to above story, but I cannot share through this forum unfortunately.

  • Getting error while calling external Jars in BPEL by using Java embedding activity in soa 12c

    Hi,
    I am trying to use an external Jars for the business logic implementation. Here I need to pass XML as input and
    and I expect the "Password " field has to be return.
    Following are the steps I have followed:
    1) Created a java project with sample class and added the external jars into the project "Libraries &Classpath".
    2) Created a jar file out of it.
    3) Created a BPEL project with Java Embedding.
    4)Wrote the java code in java embedding activity.
    4) Added the above created jar file to the BPEL project's lib/jar  and added in SCA-INF/lib project folder as well.
    5) Imported the package with the class as in the jar (e.g <bpelx:exec
    import="pkg.testInterface"/>)
    6) Deploy the BPEL project.
    while deploying the SOA build is sucessful but my depoyment is incomplete.
    error:
    advices will be great....
    Regards,
    Dilip

    Hi,
    Can you confirm if the BPEL Version is 1.1 or 2.0.
    If you are using BPEL 2.0 you need to import the required jar/class file as:
    <import importtype="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension/java" location="pkg.testInterface"/>
    For BPEL 1.1 the syntax to import other jar/class file is:
    <bpelx:exec import="pkg.testInterface"/>
    If you import the classes in the correct format you will not face any deployment error.

  • Cannot use Java Mail in Oracle 8i

    I have loaded Sun's API Java Mail (and Java Activator) into
    an Oracle 8.1.5 server running on a Windows NT 4.0 server.
    I have also created a small Java-application that tries to
    send emails. The application is stored in database as a stored
    procedure.
    However, when I try to send a mail through my stored procedure
    I get the message:
    'ORA-01041 internal error. hostdef extension doesn't exist'
    followed by an end-of-channel error.
    It works fine when I run my Java-program stand-alone, without
    any database involved.
    I need some help with this one...

  • How to display a BPEL variable using Java Embedding

    Hi, hope someone can help, I'm sure this is something very simple but for the life of me can't seem to find it through the tutorials including the Dev guide.
    Question
    =======
    How can I display user defined and BPEL variables in the process activity "Java Embedding" ?
    ex: System.out.println(bpws:getVariableData("myDatabaseParameterVariable")
    This example doesn't work but this is basically what I am trying to achieve.
    I would appreciate any help with this.
    Rookie

    Actually that's all the code I have.... System.out.println(myDatabaseArg);
    myDatabaseArg is a simple parameter defined in the database adapter configuration wizard which is used as a criteria to retrieve data.
    Just before I invoke the Read I use the Java Embedding to display the content of the parameter.

  • Cannot use java

    not sure if i am in the right area but thought i would start here.
    i am trying to view a webcam to watch my dog at daycare, when i try viewing it i am told that i need to upgrade my java. did that java told me i downloaded it and ready to use.
    but everytime i log into the site and click on the webcam i get a blank screen. i then get a message that my security is blocking me from using java.
    can someone tell me step by step what my security should be set at in order to use java. as far as i can see i have everything right.
    but still cannot view it on my macbook pro. i have OS X 10.9.3.
    i can view the webcam on my iphone and ipad but i need to refresh every couple minutes.
    which then brings me to another question.
    when i sign into the daycare it ask me if i want to use JPEG, GIF or 3G. which is the correct one.
    thank you for all and any help.

    dogwalker 2,
    there are currently three “latest versions” available — one based on Java 6, which is distributed by Apple; one based on Java 7, which is distributed by Oracle; and one based on Java 8, which is also distributed by Oracle. Did you install the latest Java from Apple, or one of the latest versions from Oracle? If you’ve downloaded the latest Java 6 from Apple, then you’ll need to also download the latest Java applet plug-in from Oracle if your dog daycare’s webcam access is provided as a Java applet — and that plug-in comes as part of Java 7 or Java 8, either of which can be downloaded from Oracle here. Once one of these is installed, you’ll have the Java pane in System Preferences again, and you’ll need to adjust its settings appropriately.
    Any software can be the source of security problems. The keys are to only use what you need to, when you need to, and to stay on top of security updates as they’re released.

  • Cannot use "java:" prefix in Context.lookup()

    I have observed a NullPointer exception when the "java:" prefix
    is used during a JNDI lookup with WL 5.1.0 Service Pack 4 on WinNT.
    Context ctx = new InitialContext();
    Object obj = ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/BeanHome");
    The work-around of removing the "java:" prefix works fine:
    Object obj = ctx.lookup("comp/env/ejb/BeanHome");
    The "java:" prefix is suggested in the EJB 1.1 specification.

  • Java embedding in jdeveloper

    Hello All
    I am trying to use a 'java embed' in my SOA workflow which I am creating using Jdeveloper Studio Editor Version 11.1.1.7.1, but I could only see writing code using java compilers/version of 1.3,1.4 and 1.5 as shown in the figure
    And when I choose Java 1.5 and write the code, I get all these class exception to check for  java. So, my question is can I only use Java 1.5 version compiler or whatever it is to write the code in and should my system/middleware home have java 1.5, because our OIM and SOA use greater than 1.5 version? and I think that this would be a problem?
    Please advise me what to do here, can I upgrade my Jdeveloper Java version to a higher version?. This is causing me a problem from long time.
    Thanking You

    Thank You for the reply. Here is the exception I see in the 'Compiler' tab when I try to create a jar file of workflow -

Exception is "Failed to compile bpel generated classes. failure to compile the generated BPEL classes for BPEL process "ApprovalProcess" of composite "default/RoleApprover1.2" The class path setting is incorrect. And in the 'scac' log file, I see

  • Payload XML DOM Object Update using Java Embedding

    Hi,
    I have a Java Embedding activity which updates the payload after making
    a call to a local EJB. The EJB sends back updated information. In my Java
    Embedding activity i try to update the payload nodes with the new information.
    It get's really cumbersome to do this sort of thing in BPEL. Basically i am trying
    to remove an existing node in the payload and replace it with a new node.
    I did so may things that i really don't remember what are they. Finally i managed to
    update the payload with the following code.
    org.w3c.dom.Element payload = (org.w3c.dom.Element)getVariableData("inputVariable","payload","/MSG");
    org.w3c.dom.Element oldNode = (org.w3c.dom.Element)getVariableData("inputVariable","payload","/MSG/TSLData");
    org.collaxa.thirdparty.dom4j.Element tslElem = com.collaxa.cube.xml.dom.DOMFactory.convertToCollaxaElement(oldNode);
    oldNode = (org.w3c.dom.Element)getVariableData("inputVariable","payload","/MSG/REC");
    payload.removeChild(oldNode);
    msgElem = com.collaxa.cube.xml.dom.DOMFactory.convertToCollaxaElement(payload);
    msgElem.add(recElem);
    I feel that there no proper interface to update the data in the payload values with
    nodes, string etc. It would be nice if we don't have to work with
    com.collaxa.cube.xml.dom.DOMFactory
    org.collaxa.thirdparty.dom4j.Element
    the collaxa classes.
    We need to have more than setVariableData, bascally good payload manipulation API's.
    Let me know if there are any alternatives to do this.
    Thanks,
    Senthil L

    I have been having the same difficulties. Were you able to find any documentation or javadocs for the Collaxa libraries? If so, I would greatly appreciate locating them.
