Cannot use loopback address in jmf audio receiver

Hello, i am using the code from http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/2.1.1/solutions/AVReceive.html
about transmitting and receiving audio data. It works fine but if i use a 127.0.0.1 address the receiver cannot connect to the audio streamer. Any idea?

Yup. This will not work. I've tried with 127.0.0.1 and 0.0.0.0.. Both of them dont work..

Cannot use disposable address to send emails?

I have a yahoo mail account (my “real” email address) with several disposable addresses set up.
I have added the account to my z1 phone using the “email” application.
I have a significant problem (for me) in 2 situations:
When I wish to compose an email from a disposable address I do not have that option under “Sender” (it defaults to my “real” email account address).
I have tried looking in settings – nothing I can see relevant there
I have tried holding my finger on the “From” area to see if I get any options – no

Consequently also, when I receive an email from someone replying to my disposable email address (that I have sent from another device) and I go to reply, the z1 mail program only lets me reply from my “real” email account address (which would then become visible to the addressee!)
Hence I am unable to keep any privacy of my “real” email address if I use the z1 email application!
I have searched forums (Sony and yahoo), but can find no mention of this – I can’t surely be the only person who needs to send emails from a disposable address?
Appreciate any help on this as this is a deal-breaker for me with this phone.

Go to the accounts pane in Mail Preferences and drag your work address to the top of the list to make it the default.
You could also go to the 'Composing' pane and set 'Send new messages from' to 'Account of selected mailbox' -this will set the 'From' address correctly when replying to a message, but you will still have to select it on a new message if not the default.

Using Mac as the Bluetooth Audio receiver

I have several voicemails I would like to record, and I thought it would be handy if I could send the audio from my phone via bluetooth to my Mac (instead of a headset) and then I could record them.
I'm not finding much searching Google and other forums. I'm a little new to Bluetooth devices, and I'm starting to wonder if this is possible.
My phone is an Evy3, hopefully it not being an iPhone won't be a limitation.
Any ideas?

I have been trying to do something similar. I got it to work between
a PC on XP and the mini in Vista/Bootcamp. In Mac OS it will
connect (as a headset..) and it will show it as getting input
but I think it treats it as a headset and you would need to
open the input with something like audacity.
It will only send mono audio as far as I saw - I think its not
been designed to do this though it should be fully capable,
at least from my perspective :P
In your case trying opening up audacity might work to see it
function, but I know in Linux it will open the mic/input line
regardless of if you are recording in a program or not.

If you want to filter DHCP client by MAC address in order to prevent some device from obtaining IP address. You may enable Deny Filters on DHCP console first, and then New Filter by MAC address. Detailed steps you may reference the link below:

I cannot access my address book now that I have updated to Snow Leopard.

I bought Quickbooks 2012 for the Mac, which required that I update my OS to Snow Leopard (at least.) So I purchased it online (not available at apple stores anymore.) And Installed it. Then I went to apple and got the free updates and installed them. Now I cannot use my address book. A message comes up that says " You can't use this version of the application Address Book.app with this version on Mac OS X. You have address Book.app 4.1.2" HELP! All my personal and business contacts are in there and predictably, I need them.

Can you open Contacts and edit, insert, and delete cards, or does it fail to work, also?

Cannot send BBM messages but I can receive them

HI there, All of a sudden I cannot use bbm. I can sometime receive messages but I cannot send them .
The messages do have a check mark but no D or R to tell me that they are delivered of read.
I have rebooted my BB umpteen times and took out the battery, I've even deleted and reinstalled the BBM.
Still no luck. I am using a Bold 9900 on Vodafone India
Could someone let me know what is going on?

I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

Loopback address as management address

Hi
Can I create loopback interfaces on all my layer-3 capable switches and use this address to manage all my switches instead of using vlan 1 as management vlan.what exactly i mean is
I have a 7200 router and ten 3750 switches connected to it. So can i create loop back on all my switches and 7200 and use this address to manage all the switches.
Is this possible. If so is there any disadvantage in doing so. Thanks for your help.

1) It means all loopback address in each device should be different. loopback interface just like a logical interface in a device.
2) VLAN 1 is default and built-in VLAN in a switch, we normally will create another VLAN for the management purpose only. You can assign the management VLAN to a port then this port will only be the management segment connection or include the management VLAN in the trunk to other devices.
In real situation, many providers use loopback address for the management and routing ID due to this interface never down. And you can assign separated subnet for the management segment w/o require to use production/data network subnet.

Qosmio X300 - This system cannot use Toshiba Accessibility

I've succeeded to install all Qosmio X300 drivers on Windows 7 64-bit. Everything's working fine exept this one: "Toshiba Accessibility". When I click on an "Access" key I receive this error message:
"This system cannot use Toshiba Accessibility"
Why do I receive this and what is this function?

Yes, I have installed Toshiba Value Added Package and reinstalled it different times. Furthermore if this Pachage wouldn't be installed, there would no be any "FN Access" key to click on!
Just when I click this button I receive this strange message! I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Even FN key itself stopped working. Won't show it's FN functions on display.
Even after reinstallation of Value Added Package I receive the error message and FN doesn't work!

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. The error message is saying, that your GarageBand installation is incomplete. There are essential foldrs missing in your system library.
Check, if indeed both folders are missing or if only the permissions are set incorrectly.
Your system library (the folder "System" directly on your system drive) should have the following folders inside the folder "Audio", and they need to be readable by the system and by administrators.
And in the folder /Library/Application Support there should be the Instrument Library.
If these folders do not exist (or no longer exist), restore them from your backup- If your GarageBand version is a new installation, the application may not hve been downloaded or installed completely, then reinstall GarageBand.
What is your GarageBAnd version, and how did you install it originally?

Apple ID / iCloud - Cannot verify email address , maybe used in a different account?

Hi all!
Until last week I was having a Family Account on MobileMe.
Now that I have transferred all sub accounts to iCloud I moved the main account, too.
All sub accounts are working fine and the can use all services like Find my Friends.
Now after having moved the main account all worked fine for that account except one service.
When trying to use the Find my friends I get a message
"Cannot connect to Find my Friends - Verify your Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com to use Find my Friends"
When opening that URL on my mac and going to "Manage your account" and then clicikng on "Verify now"
"A verification email has been sent"
Doing the same from the dialogue on my iPhone I get "Email address is already verified for another Apple ID"
Having worked though a lot of discussions here I think the issue is with an old apple id that I might forgot about having my new one as an alternative address verified.
The problem is now that I don't have access to this old account , so I cannot remove it.
I should mention that I did not get a single mail for verification send to that address , even though having asked for it on my mac now several times.
What I tried so far
- Connected to all apple id accounts I have access to and assured that the eMail is not used and verifed there.
- Tried the "Verify now" several times
- Supplied a different alternative address to that account and succesfully veriefied it. Still I cannot verify the primary one and cannot use Find my Friends
- Updated the password to meet new complexity rules, it does now include lower,capital letters, numbers and is at least a characters long
That leaves me know with two questions:
1 - How can it be, that opening the same page and doing the same thing, results in two different messages on my Mac and my iPhone?
2 - How can I arrange, that from this old account the alternative address is removed so that I can verify it agains the new one?

Note: This account is my main private eMail so dumping it and creatign a new iCloud account is not an option.

I had a similar problem. I had to call Apple support via phone and ask what apple ids my email was associated with. He was able to give me the email server it was associated with (ex: yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc) and that sparked off the memory I needed to recall that ancient and unused apple id. Then I had to recover the password, log in to that old id and change the primary email address.
As for no verification email sent, there is a major lag between changing your settings and them actually changing in Apple's system. I don't know why this is. I couldn't delete a secondary email no matter what I tried. Then 4 hours later, it finally let me do it.

I am starting servers through cammand prompt. In cammand prompt i see above error.
How can i correct the above error ?

Is it possible to create a list using the addresses in the "TO" list from a received email?

I have a very large group I'd like to create an email list for. I don't want to have to search in my address book for every address that needs to go into it. Is there away that I can use an email that I've received which has been sent to every member I want in the list - all are listed in the "To" portion of the header - and create a list from those addresses? Thanks.

I know how to do that. I don't want to have to take the time to search through the gazillion addresses in my address book to find each one and then drag or type them into the list. My question was is there away to have all the addresses in the "To" field used to create a list by - for instance - somehow selecting all of these addresses and saying create a list from them. Or clicking on an option that would give me the ability to create a list from all the addresses in the "To" field of a specific email. Thanks.
