Cannot use MAFLogon(iOS native apps) to connect to SMP 3.0 SP05 Server

Hi experts,
I have a problem when i try to use MAFLogon to logon/register on my SMP server ( im using iOS native Application). I fill some values, and waiting for login, but it doesnot work.
This is my config at MAFLogon UI Screen.
This is my application on SMP Server
This is my .plist config on MAFLogonManagerNG

1.
When i run https://<ip_server>:443 in the Safari browser of iOS simulator, i cannot connect because of credential
>> you may have to import the certificate, i believe. Have a look at this.http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-50247
2.
As you say, i'm using Integration GW, when i try to ping the backend without "Internal" check, it works. When i check "Internal" and ping again, it still works.
>> Ideally, that option should be checked if endpoint URL is from IGW.
Should i replace https port 443 = 8083 ? Because the backend use https:<ip>:8083/...
>> 8083 port is admin port and used for accessing admin cockpit and gateway cockpit (plus all odata services listen on same port iff exposed via IGW) . 8083 is nothing to do with registration.
I suggest you to try with 8080 first. In that case you have to set secured channel off from login screen.

JK

    Hello there! I have a 2nd generation Ipod and right now I cannot use a lot of app because of its old software. Is there a way to solve it?

    Only by purchasing a newer model iPod.
    To more easily find compatible apps for your 2G
    iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
    Vintapps 3.1.3 - paid app.
    Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.

  • On my iPhone 4, people cant hear me when I make and / or receive normal (GSM) phone calls. But when on calls using internet based / native apps like viber or skype, people can hear me just fine. Voice memos work too and have already tried different SIMs

    On my iPhone 4, people cant hear me when I make and / or receive normal (GSM) phone calls. But when I make/receive calls using internet-based / native apps like viber or skype, people can hear me just fine. I have tried recording my voice using voice memos - this works. And have already tried different SIM cards but the problem persists.
    I have taken my phone to an authorized Apple service center, where they restored my phone to factory settings, but still facing the same issue. They service center directed me to Apple Customer Care Hotline, where I have now spent 3+ hours explaining my issue and yet no one can resolve it. The easy answer if to replace the phone - and since it is out of warranty, I am expected to pay for it.
    Additionally, the customer service has been so rude and confrontational that it has completely changed my view of Apple and its customer focus. I am a disappointed and angry customer today - people would be surprised to hear just how rude customer service was including making statements such as "Apple doesnt make infallible products, that's why warranty is needed for our products" and that "every product undergoes a problem at some stage, so do ours!" There goes whatever confidence I had...
    My concern is simple - if no one at Apple and / or its CS hotline is able to address my issue comprhensively and keep telling me that they have never encountered a precedent before, then with what right can they expect me to pay for a replacement?! I am NOT here to fund Apple's research into their product faults and manufacturing.
    And even though a customer is out of warranty, is it too much to expect an Apple product to work well for at least a 'reasonable' period of time. My phone is less than 18 months old and has been facing this issue for the past 2 months - surely the longevity of Apple products is more than 18 months!
    Just a sad sad day for an Apple customer, compounded by unjustifiably rude and aggressive staff. And still no resolution to my problem.

    I am having the same issue - with my last 2 iPhone 4's. My first handset each time I was on a call wether it was up to my ear or on loud speaker, the call would automatically mute even though the mute button wouldn't show up as highlighted. Pressing the mute button on and off during the call doesn't fix it either. I rang Apple and asked what some of their trouble shooting solutions were. I got told that it might be a software issue and to install the latest software update. This failed. I then got told to uninstall the software on the phone and do a complete restore. This also failed. After trying the troubleshooting suggestions, I took the phone into my provider and they sent me out a new phone within a week under warranty claiming it was a hardware issue and probably just a "glitch" with that particular phone. This was not the case....
    After receiving my second iPhone 4, I was hopeful that it would work. For the first couple of days, making/receiving calls was not an issue. Until after about a week, the same problem started again. In one instance I had to hang up and call back 4 times and the call would still automatically mute after about 5 seconds. Also on the second handset, the main camera located on the back of the phone has red and blue lines running through it and can't take a decent picture. So back to the store I go to get another replacement - Again.
    For a phone that is rated highly and as a keen Apple product purchaser, I am a bit disappointed with the experience I have had with the iPhone 4. Let's hope they find a fix sometime soon because this is becoming a bit beyond a joke.....!!

  • 'You cannot use the application ical.app with this version of Mac OS X'

    When I first upgraded to 10.5 ical and calculator both crashed when starting and now after upgrading to 10.5.1 I get the following message - 'You cannot use the application ical.app with this version of Mac OS X'
    This is only on my G4 powermac. No problem with Intel MacBook.

    Are you, by any chance, one of "those people" that move applications to something other than the default location?
    I know I am.
    When I upgraded, I saw the same problem - I had moved iCal (among others) outside of "applications" to something like "Applications/Business Apps"
    The version in "Business Apps" was the Tiger version, and it wouldn't run. However, the Leopard version (Installed to /Applications) worked fine.
    So, I deleted the "Tiger" version, moved the iCal to where I wanted it, and all was well.
    In a similar note, I put a number of iLive apps in a different folder -- and OS X software update stopped finding updates for those apps. I had to move them back to /Applications in order to get OS X software update to run them.

  • HT1947 "Up next" feature makes a mess out of controlling what the heck is played using the iOS remote app.

    Tell me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that the "Up next" feature makes a mess out of controlling what the heck is played through the Apple TV using the iOS remote app.  The whole thing seem uber-anti-intuitive.  I am a long time user (as much and anyone is long time for any of this stuff) of the iOS remote app, and ATV to play music though a stereo system.  Up to a couple of weeks ago, I could sit in my chair, start the iPhone remote app, pick a playlist and either start from the beginning, or if the first track didn't grab me at that moment, go ahead and switch to, say, track 6 -- the whole playlist would "sit there" and be available for further browsing.  With the new system, if I hit a playlist the songs will go into "Up Next".  If as I described in the last sentence, the first song is not getting it for me, and I switch to track 6 , the "Up Next" list is lopped off and only tracks 7 onward will be shown.  I can't go back and browse the first 5 tracks (6 actually) -- they're vaporized.  The idea of browsing your own music has been killed; I guess this "Up Next" concept is for folks who like maybe a couple of dozen songs that are picked from different places and want to play them in different orders of something -- it just seems like a crummy idea.  If under the scenario I described I want to go back and play that first (or second through fifth) song on the original playlist, I have to go out and fish it out of the library somehow and just keep messing around and around.  There have been times when I didn't know what the heck was going to come out of the speakers.  It seems like the remote user has not been considered in the "dramatically improved" iTunes 11", with the "cleaner user interface" .  To me it is "dramatically akin to dog-doo", which, of course is not cleaner than much of anything.  If I can't get this working decently, then I'm really thinking of investigating some other type of system like DLNA.  Any suggestions?

    Same problem here.  I have so many problems with this remote app.  Is there an iTunes API? I would like to write my own remote app that actually works.

  • Cannot use Create method with SODataEntity in iOS Native Apps connect to SMP 3.0 SP05

    Hi experts,
    I am following these blogs:Mobile Application Development Platform for Developers - Native Apps. They are very helpful, thanks Kenichi.
    But i have some error when i use Integration gateway.
    First, i try method Read, it works perfectly. Then, i try to use method Create, and i meet an error. Here is the error :
    Error Domain=NetworkDomain Code=4 "HTTP Response: 403 forbidden" UserInfo=0x7f86d2688040 {NSLocalizedDescription=HTTP Response: 403 forbidden}
    I test CRUD method in REST client, and it runs without any errors. I think the difference between Create and Read method is "X-CSRF-Token": Fetch with Read and specific Token with Create. But i do not know how to supply or config "X-CSRF-Token" field when use SOData...
    Thanks and Reagrads,
    Sao Vu.

    Hi Sao,
    Is your problem solved?
    If not, below code may be able to help you for creation using ODataStore:
    MAFLogonRegistrationData *data = [[MyLogonHandler shared].logonManager registrationDataWithError:&error];
        NSString *baseURL = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@", data.applicationEndpointURL];
        //opening the store
        self.onlineStore = [[OnlineStore alloc] initWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:baseURL]
                                    httpConversationManager:[MyLogonHandler shared].conversationManager];
        [self.onlineStore openStoreWithCompletion:^(BOOL success) {
    //Read request after the store is successfully opened
            SODataRequestParamSingleDefault* readRequest = [[SODataRequestParamSingleDefault alloc] initWithMode:SODataRequestModeRead resourcePath:@"CollectionName"];
            [self.onlineStore scheduleRequest:readRequest delegate:self];
            NSString *finishedSubscription = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"com.sap.sdk.request.delegate.finished.%@",  readRequest];
    //Going for create once read request is success
            [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserverForName:finishedSubscription object:nil queue:[NSOperationQueue mainQueue] usingBlock:^(NSNotification *note) {
    //Creating request for posting the data
    SODataRequestParamSingleDefault* insertRequest = [[SODataRequestParamSingleDefault alloc] initWithMode:SODataRequestModeCreate resourcePath:@"CollectionName"];
                insertRequest.payload = entityForCreation; //Assigning the payload
                [self.onlineStore scheduleCreateEntity:entityForCreation collectionPath:@"Collection
    Name" delegate:self options:nil];
    //Alternatively you can use [self.onlineStore scheduleRequest:insertRequest delegate:self]; also instead of scheduleCreateEntity
    If you want to pass X-CSRF-Token with RequestBuilder, you can use the following code:
    //Create request for getting the token
          id<Requesting> request = [RequestBuilder requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:[NSString stringWithFormat:endPoint_URL]]];
            /*Set user name */
            [request setUsername:[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@"USERNAME"]];

            [request setPassword:[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@"PASSWORD"]];
            /*Set the required request headers*/
            [request setRequestMethod:@"GET"];
            [odp_Request addRequestHeader:@"X-CSRF-Token" value:@"Fetch"];
            [odp_Request addRequestHeader:@"X-CSRF-Cookie" value:@"Fetch"];
            [request addRequestHeader:@"Content-Type" value:@"application/xml; charset=UTF-8"];
            [request addRequestHeader:@"X-SMP-APPCID" value:applicationConnectionID]];
            [request addRequestHeader:@"X-SUP-APPCID" value:applicationConnectionID]];
            /*Set the delegate to receive the response */
            [request setDelegate:self];
            /*Set the success listener */
            [request setDidFinishSelector:@selector(tokenSuccess:)];
            /*Set the failure listener */
            [request setDidFailSelector:@selector(tokenFailed:)];
            /*Invoke the startAsyncronous API to send the request from client to server asynchronously */
            [request startSynchronous];
    //In the tokenSuccess method (- (void)tokenSuccess:(Request*)theRequest), you can use the following code to retrieve the token:
          token=[[theRequest responseHeaders]objectForKey:@"X-CSRF-TOKEN"];
           cookie=[[theRequest responseHeaders]objectForKey:@"SET-COOKIE"];
    //Create the request for posting your content to the server
                NSString* requestUrls = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@SalesOrders%@", endPoint_URL,filterString];
                postRequest = [RequestBuilder requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:requestUrls]];
                //             odp_Request = [ODPRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:requestUrls]];
                //id<SDMRequesting> request = [SDMRequestBuilder requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString: requestUrls]];

  • I bought an iPhone 5s in China and the maps app is different.  When I go to the US will I be able to use Apple's native app or will I be stuck with this one?

    So I wanted to ask a question that my googlefoo couldn't help me solve.
    I bought an iphone at a reputable electronics market here in China and it is an AT&T model phone.  I bought it at one of the grey market locations because they were sold out elsewhere.  I contacted a friend at AT&T to make sure it is a legit AT&T model.  The phone is great and everything works perfectly including maps.  But maps are done by Autonavi here in China, not Apple.  I downloaded the Mavericks update on my mac and tried some of the new maps features and they wouldn't work with my phone.  That's okay since I live in China now but I'll be going back to the USA soon and I wonder what will happen.  Will it update the app to Apple's native one or stay with Autonavi.  Autonatvi does not have the flyover features and it is not robust in the USA.
    Who can help me out here?  Has anyone purchased a 5, 5c, or 5s in China and gone elsewhere?  Did the maps app change?
    Thank you
    tl;dr my china iphone has autonavi for maps not apple, when I go to the usa will I get the native app?

    I live in China as well and my iPhone5s is the model A1530 I bougth outside China. I have the same problem as Nikatnight with the iPhone while the iPad Air (wifi only) is working like a charm. It must be definitely something related to the carrier since I was abroad few days ago and everything worked well.
    If you pay attention at the source of your maps, you'll discover they are provided by AutoNavi instead of TomTom and make them appear in chinese with their own border interpretation. Queries are only acceppted in Chinese (p.e. if I type in english "Los Angeles International Airport"  it replies it cannot locate it)
    I suppose everything will be fine when you'll be out of censorship....
    Perhaps iOS  Apple Maps are absolutely useless for expatriate in China.
    Use Google Maps instead
    BTW, I'm surprised how much Apple might prostrate towards hard power Governments.... No matter what, money are always on top!

  • Can I use the iOS remote app to rate iTunes songs on my Mac

    I have the Apple iOS remote app on my iPad I was wondering if I could use this to rate songs as I'm listening to them instead of having to walk to my Mac and and change the rating in iTunes

    An Apple TV has an interface that requires navigation, the alternative was offered to counter the need for your TV (if one was using home sharing they would also need a computer up and running). If the content is being streamed using airplay then you can change the content using your IOS device remotely.
    If that does not work for you, can provide feedback to Apple if you wish.

  • Pasting HTML to the clipboard to be used by Windows native apps

    I'm having problems creating a DataFlavor that will allow me to write a
    string to the clipboard in html format so that a windows native app (e.g.
    MS Word) can recognise this format and allow me the option of
    pasting as html rather than just plain text.
    I've found that if I alter my code to first get the contents off the
    clipboard (some html I copy from an Internet Explorer-viewed web page), I
    can extract the html DataFlavor from the Transferable object that IE has
    placed on the clipboard. If I then use this "stolen" DataFlavor to write my
    contents to the clipboard, I find that I can successfully paste as HTML in a
    windows native app.
    However, since I can't rely on grabbing some html from IE just to get a
    suitable DataFlavor each time I need to use my copy function, I have been
    attempting to construct my own DataFlavor to match the characteristics of
    the IE example flavour.
    The problem is that, having set the representation class, MIMEType and human
    presentable name to match the IE flavor, when I call DataFlavor.equals() to
    compare the two flavours it returns false, and my constructed flavour
    subsequently fails to show up as a paste option in any native apps. Having
    compared every possible property of both flavours, I've concluded that the
    only difference between the two is that the IE flavour has the charset
    parameter set as utf-8, whereas my constructed flavour has no charset
    parameter specified. I have found no way to manually set the charset. So
    calling getMimeType() on each flavour gives:
    IEDataFlavor.getMimeType() = text/html; class=java.io.InputStream; charset=utf-8
    MyOwnDataFlavor.getMimeType() = text/html; class=java.io.InputStream
    Using the Windows Clipboard viewer I have observed that my constructed
    DataFlavor does exist on the clipboard, however whereas the IE flavour's
    visible name is "HTML Format", mine is "JAVA_DATAFLAVOR: text/html;
    class=java.io.InputStream"
    and I think this is the reason that native windows apps are failing to
    recognise my DataFlavor as a valid option for display.
    I'm using jdk 1.3.1
    If anyone has ever encountered this problem or can think of a solution I'd
    be extremely grateful for your help.
    Thanks,
    Steve White

    I have a similar problem:
    IE actually put the "HTML Format"(CF_HMTL) flavor into the clipboard, with some additional info, such as SourceURL as the description.
    see
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/networking/clipboard/htmlclipboard.asp
    How will this information be available to Java clipboard?
    Main question, for HTML data pasted by IE into the clipboard, how to get the source url.
    I know some Windows native apps could get that info nicely.
    Thanks!

  • Bug: iOS 5 using data in email app when connected to wifi. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Since I have received my new iPhone 4s I have constantly been going over my data every month. I only get 200mb. Normally I only used 20-50 tops if I used heavily with out wifi. After trying different application, and resetting the usage meter under settings. I noticed that when connected to wifi it uses data when checking for email, pushing and sending and recieving email. I've reset restored etc. nothing fixes it.

    WiFi *should* take precedence in my opinion, however it does not.  This was just confirmed to me by a supervisor at the VWZ call center.  i received a notice that i was going to be charged an overage fee due to going over the data plan i have on the iPad2.  However, this particular iPad has not been out of my house, nor away from my WiFi network all month.  When i called verizon, they confirmed that even though the ipad is connected to my wifi network, as long as 'Cellular Data' toggle is set to on, it will use that network first.
    No need for this to be the case, other than for Verizon to be able to make incremental revenue on their data plan!

  • Cannot use iTunes to download apps or rearrange icons

    Since I updated iOS 8 on my iPhone 6 this morning, I cannot rearrange the icons on my screens, either right on the phone or in iTunes when connected with USB cord.  I also cannot install apps that I previously downloaded.  Anyone else having these problems?  The iTunes store is supposedly functional again.

    Please help.
    Regards,
    Reetesh Sharma

    I'm trying to create EBS DataSource to integrate ADF application with EBS, for this I have followed steps mentioned in Document 974949.1 but still I'm not able to move forward.
    Why? What is the issue?
    For this Do I need to install Oracle E-Business Suite AccessGate. But this is not mentioned in Metalink Doc. This I'm trying on Weblogic server on Windows.
    AccessGate requires extra steps for EBS integration as mentioned in (Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle Access Manager 11gR1 PS2 (11.1.1.7.0) using Oracle E-Business Suite AccessGate (Doc ID 1543803.1)) which I believe is not required here.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • I have a new comcast modem i have connected to Time Capsule with cable, TC in double NAT. As when I tried it in bridge mode I cannot use Sonos, the units will not connect to the wifi network? I thought Bridge mode would make the wifi signal better??

    I have the TC connected to the comcast modem, with TC in Double NAT mode. I set up the sonos music players ok. But I read that to incresae the wifi signal the TC should be in Bridge mode. Then I cannot get any of the Sonos units to connect to the wifi network.
    So two questions, does the Bridge mode give a better wifi signal then double NAT?
    Why will sonos not connect to the network when in Bridge mode?

    A PC can have more issues connecting than a Mac.
    But it really should not matter.. so just try it in situ.. press and hold the reset.. once it starts up, it will return to default IP, 10.0.1.1 the PC should then be able to find it via the airport utility.
    If not drag it over to the Mac and plug in there by ethernet.. or since it is a laptop, really should not be that difficult to drag the Laptop and plug it into the TC.
    Important thing is to get access to the TC.
    The Mac if it is running lion, then you MUST download and install 5.6 airport utility to do anything useful.
