Cannot use next/previous track buttons when A2DP streaming

I'm trying to stream music from my iPhone 3GS to my Bluetooth-enabled in-car deck. It's a Sony MEX-BT2600. I can connect to my deck and play music on it. But I noticed that I cannot use the next/previous buttons to advance to adjacent tracks. Anyone else have this problem, even with another kind of deck? The BlackBerry I used to carry would work just fine with all Bluetooth functions, so the problem seems specific to the iPhone.

Unfortunately, the iphone only supports pause, play & stop under the AVRCP profile. No track forward or back.

Next/Previous Track multimedia buttons stopped working in 2.18

After upgrading to 2.18, when I use Banshee the keys that are mapped to next/previous track have stopped working. However, volume change and mute buttons still work.
I checked the Gnome configuration (preferences -> keyboard shortcuts) and those keys are mapped properly. Who knows how to explain this?

I need a flash tutorial on Iphone style Scrolling Photo Gallery using Next/previous Buttons

Here i have attached two sample Fla files of iphone style scrolling photo gallery using next Previous buttons. Smoothscroller.fla is the original file download from internet and thumbscroll.fla is the one i m trying to make. But i m getting the actionscript error in the movieclip symbol 2 frame 2 actionscript frame. Can anyone work out on my file & send me the easiest tutorial of flash so that i can complete my portfolio project.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Hi Pusman,
While setting up the links, if you choose to open the file in a new window then you won't face this issue, then you can simply switch to the previous file and bookmark view will remain as it is.

I cannot use customize or edit buttons in Mymsn, after 4.0 download

Now that I downloaded 4.o , and open my 'mymsn.com' home page, I only can use the links that have been set up. I cannot use the customize keys, edit keys or add new items. I opened this up in Explorer and it still works there. Something happened after 4.0 download. can I go back to the older version, or is there a fix for this?
What I notice is that when I click to do one of these things, a # sign gets added to the url. ???

Cannot use Adobe Reader "Mail" button to send via Yahoo mail.

When trying to use the "mail" button in Adobe Reader (or do File -> Send File...) to send the file via Yahoo e-mail, I get the following error:
"An unknown error occurred while uploading the attachment."
Adobe Reader 11.0.10 for Windows.
Getting this error only on Yahoo e-mail accounts
Getting this on multiple Yahoo accounts on multiple PC's.
All PC's have current versions of Reader (11.0.10), all Windows 7/IE11 with current patches.
A client of ours was using this until last week, when it stopped working.
It is not working on any PC right now with Yahoo mail.

Are you signed out of other accounts (except yahoo)?

Cannot get next captivate to open when published as a zip

I am currently using Cap 4, but have the trial of Cap 5 as well.
I have a 7 mod course and need to be able to open the next Captivate module from the the last slide of the current module.
I have inserted a button with a path to the next movie, it works in both versions 4 and 5 when I publish in a folder, but when I publish as a zip file I get an error stating it cannot find the path.
I have moved the swf and html into the zip with the current movie, but it still errors out.
Can we "chain" the modules this way when publishing as a zip? I do need it to be a zip file for loading into LMS.
I'd appreciate any info that can help me out.

How are you asking the next project to open? Are you using a URL or the Project File Name? How are you publishing the files?
I've used this technique before with success (although never loaded it into an LMS). I used the Start/End under Preferences and linked to the Project name. All of the .exe files were in the same zip folder.
I'm not sure if the .exe works with an LMS, though.

I can go to Time Machine and find the document, even read it in Time Machine, but when I try to restore this version I get the same crash. I cannot open with Text or RTF. Preview opens a fuzzy version and can save out as a .PDF, but when I try to convert the .PDF to Word I get a bunch of unusual characters. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated

OK, I've tried all these tips. Here's what I finally have to do: I open Time Machine. I click on the Pages file and open the Pages file in the Time Machine window. (Restore does not work; nothing works).
When the Pages file opens, I begin taking screenshots using shift-command-3. I take shots of all 200+ pages of this document. The screenshots are saved to my desktop.
I then move all 200+ screenshots into one folder, because, face it, that's too many icons to work with on one desktop screen.
Then I select all the screenshots in the folder at once and open them all in Preview. Then I crop every screenshot using command-K, and save using command-S, and then close that image using command-W.
When I have cropped all 200+ screenshots, I go back through the folder one by one and adjust the color on each one, moving the mid-range color up to about 75% and the sharpness filter up to about 75%, in order to compensate for the fuzzy image of the screenshot. You can't create a searchable PDF with an image that fuzzy. I do this one by one.
I make sure everything is saved.
Then I open all 200+ edited screenshots in Preview and print them out.
Then I take the 200+ pages of this ****** Pages file and run them through my scanner, making searchable 600 dpi PDFs.
Then I go to each of the 200+ PDFs and highlight the text, copy, and paste into a NEW word processing document.
If I'd had 300 pages like the last manuscript, or 700 pages like the one before that, I would have created an Automator program to do all that, but hey, this is not the kind of **** you expect from Apple. Really. It's taken all week.
So thanks for your help guys, but no other suggestions worked. I tried to force a download of the file from Dropbox, but got the same result. Besides, my Dropbox folder is saved locally on my harddrive, so it's not their fault. In fact, there is no data in the Dropbox folder under this file name, only preview files. Somehow the Time Machine will open the complete Pages file while in Time Macine, but will not import the saved Time Machine version to the working desktop because it is a preview (i.e., not Preview) image. This is a Pages problem, not a Dropbox problem. Pages did not save the full file.
If anybody knows a better way to do this, I'd like to know about it. If anybody knows whether I will ever be able to trust Pages again, I'd like to know that too.

Cannot use min-max-close buttons in top of screen after loading new web page, also has issues with videos. Does work fine oddly after shrinking the window and re-opening it from the taskbar...

Issues with firefox where it wouldn't respond to above mentioned tasks, its like its clicking through the browser sometimes to screens behind it, or with drop down menus, it opens the menu up, but you click an option and it'll click on whatever the drop down menu is cover up. My computer has been running rather ragged lately which makes me think its a virus, I do have anti-virus and have tried a couple of programs to clean whatever it is up. I've also tried reinstalling firefox and that doesn't seem to help either.

In Firefox 4 and later Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

How to use the reset utility button when the device is not recognized?

like many other shuffle first generation users, after purchasing a second generation ipod and tried using first generation itunes, it wanted me to update software. So I did. Now the computer, a/c adaptors, ihome alarm clock does not recognize my first generation shuffle. The reset utility will not work because it can't find the ipod. And, no it is not Windows because other devices are recognized on the same port but not the ipod. I AM UNABLE TO CHARGE MY IPOD. That is unacceptable. APPLE, figure out how to fix this. It is not fair to pay a $100 for a product and have it work for only as long as a newer product is created! What is everyone supposed to do with these IPODS?

I would agree. I picked up an ipod shuffle bascially
because it's the smallest and lightest player I could
find. I was also replacing a SanDisk device that
worked perfectly for 4 years until it was damaged.
Anyway, I've been screwing around with this 2nd
generation shuffle, which my PC WIL NOT recognize,
nor will iTunes. It's downright sad that the device
depends on iTunes to work in the first place,
particularly because that's a piece of garbage
software to begin with. Every other device

out how to build USB devices that are immediately
recognized by XP pro without any screwing around,

I backed up my iphone yesterday and i cannot use that back up today. when i go to back up on itunes i can see the stored backup on there!!

I'm in the same situation as a lot of people. Whenever my iPhone 4 updates, it locks into sync mode and then I continuously lose my important data (contacts & photos etc) and recent backups replace more important backups, without asking for permission to do so.
As this has happened before, I make regular backups. Yesterday it showed one of these recent backups, but this has been replaced with todays, which is a new installation.
Is this the same with the new iPhones? Are Apple trying to encourage people to over to new iPhone, with more compatible software?
I really need help with this, as it keeps happening and I spend a lot of valuable time trying to rectify it.

Next Previous buttons reading emails

How is possibile that mail version 4.4 still does not have the next and previous buttons when an in email is open? This is the only reason why I am still using entourage and outlook 2011.
The funny think is that iPhone mail application has very nice triangular buttons ..!
Does anyone knows a solution for this ?

I could buy an excuse that Apple doesn't think those features are necessary...except that they exist in iOS! It is a major oversight for them not to have it in Mail.
Well, maybe we'll get it in OSX Lion. Lion is supposed to introduce a lot of iOS features into OSX, so maybe the next/previous message buttons will be one of them.
Another feature that would be nice? The ability to separate the mail list by days (i.e. have dividers for emails sent on different days). Again, something that's pretty standard on just about every other email client, but is curiously missing from Mac Mail.

Buttons to change to next/previous state not working

Hi guys
Apologies if you consider this an acrobat issue but I thought it was more indesign.
I am trying to add in a slide show to my interactive pdf and I just can't get it to work.
I've followed a couple of tutorials to the letter and when I preview in indesign the buttons work fine and the picture changes the next/previous state. When I export to SWF, again, it works beautifully. But as soon as I export to interactive PDF, the buttons dont work.
I can only think this is either something in the export settings or something with my acrobat not letting it be interactive.
I use CS5 and Acrobat X pro.
Any ideas? Literally nothing happens when I click on the buttons in the PDF.

Unsupported in PDF. Never has been.
The only possible workaround is to create it in a different file, export as SWF and place the SWF into a PDF.

ITunes 7 'previous track' glitch

Hello everyone. I've been experiencing a bit of an issue with iTunes with regards to the 'previous track' button. Oftentimes, if I press that button with a few seconds to go in the song, it'll still advance to the next track. Occasionally, when this happens, I can hear the previous track (the one I meant to go back to the beginning of) playing along with the next track! It doesn't occur every time, but is rather annoying when it does. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

(On an unrelated note: I've discovered that, on my Sawtooth G4, the Visualizer no longer runs nearly as smoothly as it did under iTunes 6.5. Also, with both Macs, I can't change the size of the visualizer from full screen, since the command codes to do such merely turn the full-screen visualizer off.)
