Cannot use photoshop after paying for subscription

I had been using photoshop on a monthly subscription and I stopped it. Could not restart that subscription so I paid for a new one. Problem now is I cannot use photoshop at all. I tried entering the old serial number to see if it would work and it did not. I have not received a new serial number for the new subscription. I also tried downloading the creative cloud for photoshop to install and i got an error. I do not know how to fix this problem.

I got the Creative Cloud to Install. I did use the steps that were given in other discussions here and those did not work. I did find this on a google search and it worked. The only thing I did not do was the CC Cleaner since Creative Cloud was never installed in the first place.
1. Restart Windows
2. Download Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
3. Run Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and choose option 3 and then option 1 to complete the cleaning process.
4. Once done please rename OOBE folder from these locations:
Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Adobe
5. Restart Windows
6. Download Creative Cloud
7. Run Creative Cloud file (CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe).
And it worked just fine and now Photoshop is working.

    I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
    I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
    I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
    (I never received a serial number.)
    I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue. 
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?

    I purchased the Cloud Yesterday, also 2 weeks ago Monday 10/15/2012.
    I purchased it twice thinking 1 purchase did not complete.
    I still will need to request a refund for 1, I've been too busy between, work, school, and kid. I'm at work now.

    I dowloaded indesign after paying for a subscription for it. My trial ran out so i decided to try the monthly subscription. I have paid and received a confirmation email of my payment..however when I try to open indesign it asks for me to license the software and enter a 16 digit code.. which i was not supplied with. I tried uninstalling indesign and re-installing it after logging in and out of the creative cloud to see if it would update - however no change.     The software package was bought from german distributor CANCOM on 2013-01-03.
    I set up my account at Adobe and posted the serial number.
    This is the licence:
    After 30 days I could not use Acrobat. Most time I only need the distiller for creating pdf from
    Indesign. I reinstalled Acrobat several times, after 30 days it stops working again.
    I contacted the support but without success. This PC used WIN XP.
    Now I got a new PC win WIN7.
    I got the message to visit may account, which I did. I can't remember to ckeck the serial
    number.
    Photoshop and Indesign are working. Acrobat stopped after 30 days, this is the point my
    request started.
    Trying to put in the serial number again yields this:
    Please be so kind to clear this issue.

    Could you please elaborate more about the issue?
    What are the challenges you are facing with activation of Acrobat ?
    The basic method to activate/license Acrobat is by typing in your Adobe credentials ,i.e Adobe
    ID and password.
    That will let you access Acrobat easily.
    Let us know if you are experiencing any more difficulties in activating Acrobat .

    Depending on your OS, please try the steps below
    Windows
    Click on the "Start" menu. Select "All Programs" and then "Accessories"
    Right-click on "Notepad" and select "Run as Administrator"
    Click "Continue" on the "Windows needs your permission" dialog
    When Notepad opens, click File and select Open
    In the filename field type the following:
    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
    If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "adobe," delete those entries. These are used for Adobe Licensing.
    From the "File" menu select "Save" after making changes
    Restart Muse
    Macintosh
    Click on the "Finder" icon. Select the "Applications" folder
    Open the "Utilities" folder and select "Terminal"
    Type the following:
    sudo nano /etc/hosts
    Enter the OS user's associated password when prompted
    If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "adobe,"  delete those entries. These are used for Adobe Licensing.
    Press control+o to save the file
    Press control+x to close the file
    Restart Muse

    What is your internet speed? www.speedtest.net
    6mbps is required for instant HD (you can switch to SD in the settings)
    If on wifi try ethernet and www.istumbler.net to rule out interference
    Make sure you're using your ISP's DNS
