Cannot use Search Function in Forum

Every time I try to use the search feature in the forums I
get an error.

Nobody here could possibly answer your question as presented. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps at all?
Quit the app store completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work ... A few more details from you might help you get your problem resolved.

Having problems using search function on FM forum; no results ever found

I've done searches on topics that I know exist, but I never get any results. I never used to have this problem. Did something change?

fwiw, the forum search functionality (within forums as well as over all the forums) seems to be having issues over the last several weeks. I haven't had any search results for several weeks, tried 3x different browsers.

TS3297 Error when I use search function in itunes store and select an artist

When I use search function in itunes store and select an artist I get this message. Microsoft visual C++ run time library. Prog C:\progfiles\itunes\itunes.exe R6025 - Pure virtual function call . It then shuts down itunes and cannot provide a solution.
Have tried reinstalling itunes but it did not help. Any other ideas?

I have yet to find a solution, but as a work around, do not click or select any of the suggested results while you are typing in your search. Type in your search, and press enter.

Search functionality of forum

Dear Colleagues,
At the outset, my wishes to all SAP community members for an eventful new year 2009.
As on date our forum has become a huge repository of subject material thanks to the contributions made by all of us.I would like to bring to the notice of all community forum members the functionality of "Search forum". This is a very helpful functionality which lets user search the threads of functionality with respect to the keywords provided.
It is my request to all forum users particularly our new friends to please use this functionality before posting their queries. Many times you might get your answer already in the forum repository and this can bring a save in your wait time. I had been a regular user of this functionality and believe me it is my personal experience that I have found roughly answers to my queries/doubts 40% of times.
Hope we all will be exploring this functionality in 2009 to the maximum extent...

I suggest that you try and search before actually creating a question. When I did a search a couple of days ago, I saw the same question asked 3 or 4 times. All I did was send them the link of the previous thread. I suggest users first do a specific search and then a generic search on the functionality. I am quite sure we can reduce the number of repetative issues raised if we follow this!!
As a suggestion, whenever any person registers to the SDN, if a standard message is sent on the availability of the search option, would be a great. So that the users are avialable and they are encouraged to use the search option.
There are some documents avilable in the WIKI section. This could also be a search option. The answers we are looking for may already be there in those documents.

Cannot use "Find" function

Our users are experiencing a problem where they cannot bring up the find/search bar. We do use a customized installation using a MST file, but there is no option that we are aware that disables the find/search function.
We have tried pressing CTRL+F or going to menu>edit>find, but do not get a search bar.
Was wondering if anyone out there is having the same problem or has a fix?
We are currently running the latest version of Adobe Reader X 10.1.1.

Just a bit of more information, not sure if its related, but our users are all running Windows 7 64bit desktops. I'm attaching screenshots of the transform/MST file with the customization we have set.
Here is also the command line we use to deploy: "msiexec.exe /i "AcroRead.msi" ALLUSERS=1 /q /norestart TRANSFORMS=acroread.mst"

Cannot use QuickTime functions in a plain C++ application

Im new to QuickTime.Now i need to use quicktime7.1 SDK functionalities in my plain C++ application.Hence I started with a plain C++ application just to check whether i can access the quick time functions there.Im currently using Dev-cpp IDE for developing my application.
Given the sample code.

The given program uses the quicktime function quicktime__major to get the version information.The function returns an integer value,which is the version of the quicktime installed.The function is declared with in the header quicktime.h.Hence i added the header file.

Cannot Use Rollover Functions With Templates

I'm surprised that you do not hear anything about this, but
if you create a template in Dreamweaver 8, your buttons will work
but you cannot use rollover effects. That stinks! Does anyone know
of a hack, plug in, etc. to get around this bug? It seems like i
always find the bugs for some reason.

If you go to http://passsource.com/ from Safari on your phone. Create an account. Then start creating passes. They will show up in your Passbook app next time you open it. I tested it out with a Target gift card - worked great.
(NOTE: I had changed the time to a year ahead and forgot to change it back before I tested this but I wouldn't think it would matter.)

Cannot use search in mail

Sorry if this question has been asked before or if it is plain silly, but this issue has been annoying me for a while now.
The search function for a keyword in the message body does not seem to be able to search for messages that are located in anywhere except for inbox. I double checked that the mailbox that I want to search is selected (in the search bar at the top). However when I type in the keyword no results are returned... Is that how it's supposed to work? To doublecheck that it is not the word that is actually not present in any of my emails (or misspelled), I copied a random word from one of the emails in the folder and pasted it in the search bar. No results...
Is there some kind of setting that I can change to fix it?
Any help is greatly apreciated!

Using search function in calendar mode

I can't figure out how to search when I am in calendar mode. I want to look up past and future appointments for the same person, and I can't find a search function on the menu in the calendar mode. Thanks.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Press and hold the Home button and the Wake / Sleep button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen (ignore the swipe to turn off message, just keep the buttons pressed).
It can take 10-20 seconds for the Apple Logo to appear ans then you iPad will restart with no loss of data.
