Cannot use Shift + F5 to access Edit Fill

In Photoshop CS3 on the Mac, I have always been able to use SHIFT + F5 as a key command for Edit>Fill. In my version of CS4, it no longer works. I get a message that says: "The command "Grow" is not currently available." I checked in the key commands and it is configured correctly. I have tried resetting it to no avail. Anyone else out there experiencing this? Any solutions for this?

I had the same problem until I found this post. Now, I have the solution!
Somehow (like me), you probably loaded a set of actions called "Commands," which contains lots of keyboard shortcuts for things like cut, copy, paste, etc. The specific command for "grow" is Shift+F5. You can either remove that action specifically, or you can remove the whole "Commands" set by clicking on the trash icon at the bottom of the Actions pallette.

Cannot use shift S without caps lock

I am using an imac,
version 10.6.8,
Model Identifier:          iMac10,1
Processor Name:          Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed:          3.06 GHz
The s key works in lower case, but only if I use the caps lock, can I get the upper case S to work.
The shift key will work with all other keys.
This is the keyboard that came with my computer, alumni wireless keyboard.
I have installed a different wireless keyboard and the same thing is occuring, so I know it is not the keyboard,
This only started happening after I had my seagate harddrive replaced due to a correct drive.
any suggestions? Thanks in adavance.

Open the Speech pane of System Preferences and check what the Speech and Listening keys are; if either of these has become set to the s key, change the setting. (15536)

Delete a recipients copy of a convo. cannot use De...

There's a conversation being held against me that I need to clear, specifically from the recipients side, and cannot do as I cannot use Delete Skype History (Network Edition) and have a mac rather than a PC. I did also think of logging into the other persons account and clearing the convo, but it still appears on their other devices.

I find it amazing that you have the audacity to go into the security forum and discuss how you want to violate another user's security, privacy and trust. Once you send something and it has been received by the other party outside the edit window it cannot be deleted regardless of what some software might claim (while they take your money and continue planting shills to promote their "product"). That reason being that messages are stored locally on each device separate from just being on the Skype network. Messages can also be saved in a variety of electronic forms, extracted or simply copy/pasted. I know that software can't eliminate those methods. In the future I wouldn't recommend you send IMs or any other type of electronic communication to another party that you might find damaging.

Modern kobo books should just use regular Adobe DRM and be readable on compatible ereaders that are authorized to the correct Adobe ID.

You should be able to copy within the restrictions. You can double-check that with the sellers (Kobo).

If the pocket book is already authorized but to a different ID, you will need to deauthorize it first, ctrl-shift-E to ADE with device plugged in (or cmd-shift-E on Mac).
Be aware that will lose the ability to read DRM books authorized with the previous ID.

Since I purchased iphoto '11, I cannot use edit.

I have a "09 MacBook. After upgrading to osx Mountain lion and adding more memory, I upgraded to iphoto '11. Now I cannot use edit because it tries to download the photo again rather than edit mode. Is this common and if so how do I fix it?

Thank you for upgrading to Mountain Lion and iPhoto '11! It sounds like you are trying to edit the photo in the Photo Stream section of iPhoto. You will need to import the photo before you can edit it. If you have already imported it, access the photo in the Events or Photos section on the left to edit it. When you have Photo Stream selected on the left, you are seeing photos on iCloud. The following article has additional information about this:

I did copy it to my desktop, but it still won't let me open it. I think the file on the disc might be corrupt or something like that though the cd itself checks out fine as far as viruses go. I was able to verify the disc, but that's about it. My husband tried it on his iMac and we have the same issue. It's unzipping the folder, but won't let us open the folder on both the Mac Book Pro or the iMac by double clicking, going to file/open or right clicking. It just keeps saying the same message as I posted above. I think I'm just going to have the client put the pictures on either a memory card or a USB memory stick so she won't have to compress the files for zipping purposes. It's been too frustrating trying to open this folder on this cd she gave me. She said she created/zipped the cd on her Mac Book Pro but it sure won't open on mine.

Acrobat XI is not distributed with Designer. Designer is now a separate product. You can create forms in Acrobat as an AcroForm or using Forms Central (an online forms program). You can print the form to a new PDF and then recreate the fields in Acrobat using the recognize form fields. You will likely have to fix the form fields, but that would be the process. Generally, once a form is taken to Designer, you can't bring it back without such steps.
Designer is available with AA8 - AAX, but since is a separate product as I indicated.

I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
(I never received a serial number.)
I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?

The blog was incorrect. Photomerge should work in the trial, too.
When things get weird in PSE the first thing to do is to delete the prefs. Go to the editor preferences>general, click this button and restart the editor:

I am using 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' for the ALV genration,
I found that I cannot use
          it_layout-edit_mode = 'X'.
          it_layout-zebra = 'X'.
simultaneously..
Only zebra layout come up and not the edit mode...

I cannot use customize or edit buttons in Mymsn, after 4.0 download

Now that I downloaded 4.o , and open my 'mymsn.com' home page, I only can use the links that have been set up. I cannot use the customize keys, edit keys or add new items. I opened this up in Explorer and it still works there. Something happened after 4.0 download. can I go back to the older version, or is there a fix for this?
What I notice is that when I click to do one of these things, a # sign gets added to the url. ???
