Cannot use the same credit card for another apple ID

Hi,
I recently created an apple ID and used a credit card to itunes store, now I'm trying to sign up another new apple id to itunes with the same credit card but now I'm getting an error, "Payment method declined, please try another method."
Please help.

Hi,
this is a question for consultants at least a little familiar with SAP business partner, Customer-vendor-intergration cvi, contract accounting:
My customer wants to store the same credit card with more than one customer. Arguments are that family members or partners may mutually agree to use the same credit card for their distinct purchases.
I never tried with amazon or the likes but I know that SAP validates the uniqueness of credit cards.
I found 6 code line where the message (V/)005 "Payment card &1 &2 is already assigned to customer &3" prohibits duplicate assignment.
Even if I create a couple of enhancements to suppress the error, I don't know how the system will work.
The customer does not like the idea of using alternative payer.
Did you ever face the same problem and how did you solve it?

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

I share a an apple id with my kids. We all use the same credit card for purchases. Is it possible for only me to use the icloud online storage without making this available or visible to the kids?

My kids and I all use the same credit card and password for app and music purchases. I'm assuming we all use the same apple ID too. (not sure) We can share apps and music although we all have our own itunes libraries. I just checked and they have already sucked up all my online storage. Ahhh techy teens! I think I will just leave it at that and back my own stuff up on my computer. Less confusing

Can we use the same credit card for multiple customers???

One of my clients has a requirement where they need to use the same Credit Card number for multiple customers. I have looked into the possibility of using the 'Alternate Payer' functionality but besides that is there any other way SAP can be tweaked to accept the same credit card on multiple customer accounts?

I know SAP throws an error message which is why I was looking for a solution. I do have a work around. By pointing to an 'Alternate Payer' on the Payment Transactions tab on the customer master you can have a credit card on this alternate payer master record and use this payer on several other customers. All these customers will not have any credit card stored on their master records.

Just do it. You can use the same credit card for multiple accounts.

With iOS 8's family sharing, will family members be able to share apps that they previously purchased with different credit cards with one another for free (given that they will all use the same credit card once iOS 8 comes out)?

Question 1: In my family of 4, we currently have different Apple ID's and we all use different credit cards to purchase our apps and media. When iOS 8 is released, if we agree to share the same credit card, will we be able to access apps that a family member purchased with their own credit card prior to iOS 8's release? To clarify, under iOS 7, Member 1 has purchased Apps A and B with his credit card. Under iOS 8, if Members 1, 2, 3, 4 decide to use Member 4's credit card, will Members 2, 3, 4 be able to access Apps A and B?

There is no way for anyone to know any more than that.

Using the same Credit Card on two different iPhones

Wanted to know if it's possible to use the same credit card on two different iPhones.
There have been times that I wished I had a card that was in my wife's possession for certain "Points Purchases"
It would be so handy to share a single card on two phones. Has anyone done this?

I appreciate your response but, the question was in relation to Apple Pay. I thought that was the forum I posted in.
So...let me try this again. We have one Amex card but say I want to purchase something at Home Depot with it and she is out shopping at Nordstrom's. Can my wife and I have the same card registered in Apple pay on each of our phones so that it's available for both of us to use? Or are you only allowed to register a card once on one phone? This has nothing to do with iTunes purchases or Apple ID's. This is for for using Apple Pay out and about at different retailers.

I am setting up a bank of 12 iPads for school use. I have created a unique ID for each iPad. When first signing to each account/ID the credit card details are required. I have done his successfully for first 3 accounts but can't seem to use this same credit card for any others. How do I proceed with the other nine accounts?

This is not the way to go about this. You are creating consumer accounts for these iPads. Those may not be the proper accounts for an institution.

How do I make a payment using the same credit card

When you say "template" do you mean a generic *.html file, or do you mean a *.dwt DREAMWEAVER-specific template? The answer to your question will depend on the answer to this question.

You can use one card for a few account. I would believe it you attempted to use it on too many accounts (5+), it may cause some issues. But using the same card on two accounts is fine.

I have just discovered this fact in the past two weeks when I needed to update the expiration date on a virtual credit card number which I have had registered on my iTunes account for years. Apple claims this is a long time policy but considering that I was able to keep using the same VAN for several years by updating the expiration date, I believe the implementation of the policy is recent.
I spoke to two different Apple support people just now and they were apologetic and advised that I leave feedback about the issue at this site:

using the option to leave feedback in the category of managing my iTunes store account.
The support manager told me that the reason for this policy is that it is easy for hackers to steal these virtual numbers and use them--which is ridiculous, because the whole point of the VAN is that it is tied to one vendor only once it is used, and if the vendor changes even one letter in the name when they put through the charge on the credit card account, the charge is refused (at least the way my credit card issuer handles VANs). With any other form of payment, Apple and I would still have a problem with unauthorized charges on the iTunes store and I would have an even bigger problem if the hacker stole my real credit card number and used it anywhere they pleased.
I think this issue should be spread widely on tech sites and anyone who is having this problem should also be sure to leave feedback on the address above as it is supposedly taken very seriously. This is a step backward as far as I am concerned. I love Apple products and will figure out a different way to pay for my various iTunes subscriptions in the meantime but I am certainly not a happy camper right now.
