Cannot View Older Forum Questions and Bookmarking

Hi,
I noticed in the Lightroom for Beginners forum that you can only view one page of forum questions. You cannot view older forum questions/posts (i.e. pages 2,3,4...). There also is no way to bookmark and/or follow questions/topics/discussions.
Unless I just have a crazy computer
Is it possible to update the forum for these features???

Try switching from the default overview - click image below. If you click the content tab it's possible to use the left and right arrow buttons to view older threads.

If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Cannot view older files using "File / Open"

We have literally thousands of files going back many years and sometimes I'm required to do a visual search. I have CS4 and when I use "File / Open" to preview old files sometimes it will show the file and sometimes it won't - generally the ones that will not preview are older files that have the little black symbol in the lower left corner of the file icon. I cannot open all these files and update them to CS4 just to be able to do a visual search. Is there a way around this? And not, viewing in thumbnail mode in an explorer window doesnt help - it just shows the AI file icon larger.

I want the File / Open function to work as it *should* and show me what the graphic looks like in the preview pane.
Well, I think that it does. Those old files simply don't contain a PDF or EPS page preview, which is what the file dialog uses. That basically means they were not saved with PDF compatible content at all or the option to embed page thumbnails was turned off at least, which was common way back in teh old days. I'm afraid there is no solution otehr than to use Bridge and even that may not always work...

Cannot Export PDF with Hyperlinks and Bookmarks

Hi Everyone,
I've recently upgraded to InDesign CS3. I opened a 40 page document that was completed in InDesign CS2. When I try to export to a PDF (with include hyperlinks and bookmarks) the program quits once it reaches the 5th page.
I've tried exporting without hyperlinkes and bookmarks checked and PDFing works fine. I had no previous PDFing issues when working in CS2.
Any suggestions/tips/guesses would be appreciated.

Hi! I need help w indesigns hyperlink...
I am working on a long document and have 5 files, I was able to use hyperlink on each one that way the reader could jump fr one file (or page) to another. The hyperlink worked perfectly on PDF. Now I need to merge these five PDF's into 1 PDF file but the hyperlink that I have created on individual files doesnt work in a combined PDF. Is there a run-around on this? Any suggestions? I'm just new in indesign and need inputs. Thanks!

I cannot remember my secrurity question and when i created an account i didnt enter a rescue email. The wierdest thing was that it said i had to answer my sec question because it was my 1st purchase 4 the device but i had the device for 2 years.

• Will future driver releases be certified for Windows Vista  Yes, all of our future releases will be Microsoft certified.
• Applications from the original Sound Blaster X-Fi CD do not work in Windows Vista. Will there be downloads available for all missing applications and when  Driver downloads and basic software such as the Audio Console are available for download from our web site. • Will decoding of Dolby Digital and DTS signals be supported in the future If not, why not  These functions are not supported at driver level in Windows Vista and going forward will be supported at application level by applications such as Power DVD or WinDVD.
• Will DVD-Audio be supported in the future  We are not supporting DVD-Audio in Windows Vista.
• Will 6.1 speaker mode be available in future drivers If not, is this because of Creative or Microsoft  No, as Windows Vista does not support this speaker configuration.
Bugs/Specific Issues
• Why is the CPU utilization on some Windows Vista systems significantly higher when using X-Fi CMSS-3D than on Windows XP  This is a 3rd party product issue on which Creative cannot comment. We have made CPU utilization improvements in the forthcoming X-Fi update.
• Why do I get BSOD and system instability when an X-Fi card is installed in my Windows Vista system with 4GB or more of RAM  This issue will be addressed in the next X-Fi driver update. It is also recommend to check with your motherboard manufacturer for the latest version of the motherboard BIOS.
• Enabling the Crystalizer during ASIO Playback with an Elite Pro causes reproduceable BSODs (CTEXFIFX.DLL) why  We have reproduced this issue and are working on a solution.

My system information on my Mac is not opening and I cannot view my storage info and serial number.

Every time I try to view More Info on my Mac, all the System Information ever does is load but not open. What should I do?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Hello I cannot view a particulat website completely on Firefox .

It just happens with my system. I am able to view it in other browsers. website: osi.utep.edu. I need to update this website frequently. I cannot view this website completely. I cannot view the flash , pictures and buttons ..please help

That is a Flash object. You have an old Shockwave Flash 10.0 r32 player that may not work on that site.

I cannot view some videos and participate in some websites since Adobe upgraded all to Flash 11.7. I have an older Mac G5 PowerPC (no Intel chip) running OS 10.5.8. I keep getting splash screens saying I have to update to Flash 11.7 but 11.7 is made for those Macs with an Intel chip. I am running the newest Flash for my system. It seems all concerned should have made Flash retro-compatible for those of us with older Macs. Is there a work around to this Flash requirement short of buying a new Mac with the Intel chip?

I cannot view quicktime window normal size and still see control butttons (pause, play etc.)
I search this forum and found another previous similar question, but the answer. (To use control+0, which would make it half-size.), is not what I need.
What I need is to have a nice fuller size view, (not the narrow little half-size), but any way i find of doing that hides the controls below the bottom of my screen!
I cannot resize it from any side, except the bottom r. corner, which is hidden with these desireable fuller options.

Update: this was my mistake - I had neglected to configure all the view containers in the WebDynproCO window, which was generated by adding the GP interface to the component. All is well.

Using Adobe 11 reader, now comes up with an error, once file is opened. 'Invalid plugin detected, Adobe reader will quit. Closes the program so cannot view PDF files. Running windows 7. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe still the same. HELP

Sounds like something has been added into the Reader folder. I would recommend uninstalling, running http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, removing any left over parts of the Reader folder (this might have been the problem), reboot, and reinstall. Hopefully that solves the problem. For future question about Reader, you should consider asking in the Reader forum, this is not it.

It's possible that the Troubleshooter doesn't work correctly unless IE is your default browser. You could test that possibility by having IE make itself the default and testing the Troubleshooter again.
