Cannot View Streaming Content

Last week I updated to iTunes 7.0 and Quicktime 7.1.3 before trying to view "It's Showtime." The upgrade completed without incident. When I tried to view the event, the QuickTime player opened and was stuck on "Connecting..." forever. I can successfully listen to purchased music, podcasts, and play various downloaded media in IE and Firefox. The problem is playing streaming content kicked off by JavaScript, <OBJECT>, or <EMBED>.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall without success. I tried repairing the installation too. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

There must be a problem or conflict with another program on this machine because I ran the update on another machine configured similarly and it plays streamed material just fine. I'm going to download just QuickTime and install it.

Wondering if anyone can help. I have a Satellite L4500-13x and would like to know if it is possible to view streamed content on an old TV from my laptop eg YouTube. My TV has only got an RCA input.
I have an external monitor port on laptop and dont know if I can use that with some kind of adapter. Or do I need an HDMI to RCA convertor from the laptops HDMI output port.

Normally its no problem to use an older TV as external monitor. You probably need an adapter, VGA to RCA but this is a common part and usually always been used with such older TVs they dont have a HDMI port.
On eBay and other places you can purchase such VGA to RCA adapter. Thats everything what you need for this connection.
After this you can switch between monitors using FN+F5 key combination. :)

Cannot view streaming media such as keynote addresses

I have followed the set up instructions as given on the Apple pages (QT Preferences, setting my transport to HTTP and port 80) but I still cannot view any of the streaming media from the Apple site, seminars etc. Are there further settings I can adjust on my machine or is this now an ISP issue??

Cannot view the content of XML document.

Hi experts,
i have saved edit form (SAP Demo News) in document folder (KM Content > document). To view the content, I click the XML document then the content is display as design in ShowForm.
My problem is i save the edit form (SAP Demo News) in my own folder (KM Content > MyFolder), then when I click the XML document the content is NOT display as design in ShowForm. But its display as XML coding.
How to make the content of XML document NOT view as XML coding?

Hi faeza ,
by default XML Forms can only be used in the repositories documents and userhome.
If you want to use XML-Forms in your own repository like "MyFolder" than the behaviour is like you have described.
So you have to adjust the KM settings for using XML-Forms as well in the repository "MyFolder".
Goto
System Administration ->
System Configuration ->
Knowledge Management ->
Content Management ->
Configuration
-> Content Management
-> Repository Filters
-> XML Forms Repository Filter
Choose the XML Forms Repository Filter entry "xmlforms_filter" and choose Edit.
Add as "Repositories:" your repository "MyFolder".
Save it and restart the whole portal.

Cannot view desktop contents and finder shuts down

Iam using macbook pro mid 2012 with OS mavericks. Everything was running completely okay until yesterday but when i switched on today the finder kept shutting down after 15 seconds..i cannot view my documents or pictures on the desktop..the applications icon disappear from the dock when i open it and cannot see anything in my downloads folder either..i didnt not downnload any app recently and cant seem to figure out the problem.i tried attaching a screenshot but the browser crashed..i saw some posts where they were relating this problem with google drive but i dont use it..any help would really be appreciated because i have a presentation coming up next week and really need to get done with this problem

You can work around this issue by choosing Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and then entering a / followed by the name of the folder you want to access.
If you need to access the top level of the hard disk from the other accounts or want to fix the issue, try logging in with the original account. Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript folder and run the following script:

Cannot view streamed photos in web browser

I have set up a photo stream from my iPhone and have set it up as a "Public Website" so that friends and family that do not have Apple devices can view the photos. Everything was working fine for about two months, but in the past couple of days people who are trying to access the photos from PCs using web browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) have not been able to view the pictures. They can still access the site but they cannot see the photos. Any advice would be appreciated.

A number of people are have trouble with this over the last few days (Photostream website not working). It seems that the problem is at Apple's end. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Upgraded to Flash 9 on OS 10.4.11 -- cannot view flash content

Hi All! I recently upgraded Flash to v. 9 and can no longer
view any Flash content online. No error messages - just blank space
where video clip would normally be. Shortly before I noticed these
problems, I also upgraded Quicktime. I've seen comments online
about going into System Preferences > Quicktime > Advanced
> MIME Settings > Miscelaneous. I was told to uncheck the
Flash in the list, but don't see Flash listed there. I'm not sure
if there is some conflict with Quicktime or if that upgrade is
unrelated? Any advice would be appreciated! Sue

I am having the same problem. When I installed The new Flash
Player it said it was installed successfully. But I don't see the
movie, just the (F) flash logo. When I go to pbskids.org to run
flash content, it says I need the Flash Player??

Cannot view SWF content with IE & Flash 9.0.47

We have recently upgraded to the latest version of Flash
9.0.47. When viewing pages that are directly linked to a .SWF file,
the content is never displayed. The IE status bar shows
'Downloading' and then 'Done' but only white space is displayed.
The file will not play when downloaded and opened through IE
manually either.
These files and sites still work with Flash 8, and with Flash
9 on Firefox.
I am able to view content that is embedded and the Adobe
version test (
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/)
shows that it is installed.
Uninstall and reinstalling does not fix the issues nor does
reverting back to an older version of Flash on machines where this
once worked.
I have been through the registry and as far as I can tell
everything looks fine. File associations and MIME settings were in
order.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a problem
for quite a few computers.

Like I said in the previous post, if we try to open a naked
swf file in IE it does not play. However, when I enlose it in the
proper tags the content is displayed. Is this the way it's going to
be from now on?

Here are a couple of other things I have tried.
Registry Permissions are correct, I even gave users full
control to everything (on a test box)
Ran Flash Uninstaller, rebooted, installed package from
adobe's site

unregistered & reregistered flash9d.ocx (regsvr32)
Tried both MSI & EXE installers from Adobe's Corporate
download site
Changed IE security settings to lowest possible, everything
was allowed Allowed active content from My Computer (IE advanced

Tested with different users, some admins some not
Tested with different versions of Windows XP (RTM, SP1, SP2)
None of those steps made any difference, and I have run out
of ideas.

We are using EP7 and i get the following message when tried to view the WebDynpro content
"You do not have the needed permissions to start the Web Dynpro Content Administrator.
Please contact your System Administrator."
But all the roles assigned to the J2ee_admin are assigned to my role also.

I am also using EP7. but apart from the Administrator role which Iguess you already have, I have the following roles also
JDI.Administrator
JDI.Developer
both from UME database
JDI Administrator has no description
but the description for JDI.Developer it is JDI Developer.
you can use it like that while searching for roles

I cannot view video content on You Tube or the BBC website

and although I have downloaded the up to date Adobe Flash Player - I get an error message saying that it is not up to date - all video content is blank except for a 'blocked plug in' notice. My computer was working fine until I downloaded an Apple update and then it has not worked properly since.
Has anyone got any ideas? For the record I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Flash player several times to no avail.

Google Chrome has Flash Player embedded.
You can try GC and see if flash videos are able to play.

Cannot view content of pages created with WPC

Hello everyone,
When I create a page with WPC, I can only view the content with my super admin account.
I have set read authorizations for everyone on the KM folders and for PCD with no result. The rest of the users cannot view the content. They can only view the Header or Tool bar at the top (which contains send feedback, email, rss feed, etc).
What must I do to make the content visible for everyone?

Cannot view content grabber in Illustrator CC

Hi all,
I'm very new to Illustrator and finding the learning curve to be quite steep. Two questions - First, is there a kind of "getting started guide" with a brief explanation of the very basics and all features? The little random tutorials they show upon opening the program are helpful, but totally random and I can't find a list of contents even, to go through. I find I'm looking things up one thing at a time, issue by issue. That can't be the best way to learn the basics for a home user.. can it?
Major question right now as I'm using it.. I'm finding that I often cannot see the content grabber on images that I open (from iPhoto, for example) in Illustrator CC. I'd like to see that brown frame to quickly crop the image but the content grabber never shows up so I can't do that. The only "solution" I've seen is to go to View>Extras>View content grabber. But in this version, there is no "extras" in my view menu.
I feel like this is so incredibly basic but I'm learning as I go and totally lacking in resources here.

I just purchased an iPhone 6 and the setup smooth but one thing..photo stream. I can take pictures and they go in the stream and I can view from my other iOS devices but I cannot view photos taken with other devices on the iPhone 6. All use the same iCloud ID.

Try these steps first if the Photo Stream on one of your PCs is not updating:
you can't connect to the Internet, iCloud Photos will not be able to send or receive updates to My Photo Stream. If necessary, troubleshoot your Internet connection on your PC, Mac, or iOS devices.
Open the iCloud Control Panel and make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices.
In Windows 8.1, go to the Start screen, click the down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud app.
In Windows 8, go to the Start screen, and click the iCloud tile.
In Windows 7, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Make sure that iCloud Photos or Photo Stream is turned on in the iCloud Control Panel. Click the Options button and make sure that My Photo Stream is turned on.
Close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.

Cannot view content text and elements in Dreamweaver

Hi,
I am not an expert in Dreamweaver, still learning. Would anyone tell me why when I open up the template in Dreamweaver's design view I cannot see the content text and other elements to edit or view? However, all those are still viewable in browsers. I can edit content only through code mode in Dreamweaver, not in design view. I am attaching the whole template for you to see.

Found it in the last line of the code, it's a Joomla template.
The only real way to use this with dreamweaver is with one of the extensions for dreamweaver (not 100% required, but difficult without one), there are a number of extensions available (sorry, but none are free that I know of).
Try - http://www.justdreamweaver.com/dreamweaver-joomla-tools.html , or do a search for Joomla and dreamweaver extension.
