Cannt access Technet forums once logged in.

Soon as I log into my Microsoft account, which I can access all other Microsoft services on without issue, I receive the following message when visiting any Technet forum page:
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
Now, nothing has been moved or changed. That message is and I have absolutely no clue why you would give this message to people.
I've found other posts where people say it was because they were banned and when they viewed their past posts it showed a little banned note next to their name. That is not the case with my account that I can find anywhere.
So...
What is going on? Why am I getting yet another misleading message from Microsoft? What date will I be able to log into Technet forums again?
When will the text of this message be corrected? What date? What exact day will you fix this broken thing?

Very frustrating that Microsoft take this action but can't take the time to even email or advise of this. Just some questions from the email I sent multiple times in response to this issue I'd like answered:
Why have I not been informed of it being banned?
Why do you give a completely misleading message when the account is logged in?
Why has this misleading message not been correcting after what appears to be years?
Onto my profanity - again I'll copy what I wrote in my email. I very much hope you provide some feedback on my point of view on Microsoft's treatment of it's partners:
I get a bit overboard in my approach online, but I believe my anger at times is warranted by Microsoft's disdain in the way they treat their customers, partners and certified professionals. I have bugs that I have tried to report and get followed up on in Windows
7 and Server products for years via forums, at times without even a response.

Microsoft don't provide simple access to Sharepoint calendars within Office365 in Outlook web app or mobile devices and such. This despite Microsoft pushing people away from Public Folders to Sharepoint apparantly... Lost a sale of Microsoft products while

Printer Policy CSE Bugs. I have had so man headaches over this one... I have attempted to work with Microsoft via the forums over and over with no response despite providing extremely well documented information. Suffice to say using GPP for printer deployment

These are just a small handful of the treatment I have received from Microsoft when attempting to report or get bugs fixed or even acknowledged. No responses, my posts ignored, complete disdain for my effort. So yeah... I get cynical, I get angry at Microsoft.
I see things break that shouldn't because I've done things 100% by the books you give me, I see cryptic error codes even on your consumer devices like Windows Phone I then have to Google for a explanation. I put up with every single product, feature and command
working completely different from each other. And like some battered house wife I keep studying your products and singing your song for you after it all...

    I am trying to access a forum for which you need a username and password but it keeps telling me the username/password i've entered are incorrect.  Bizarrely, when I enter the same username/password combination on my iPad, it grants access without any problem. 
    What could be causing this, is it an issue with cookies, caches or similar.  How can I resolve it?  The forum administrator is at a loss as to what the problem is.

    Try the following steps in Safari to see if they help:
    1) First try clearing the Safari cache.  To do this pull down the Safari menu and select 'Empty cache...', then try logging into the site again.
    2) If the issue continues then reset Safari by pulling down the Safari menu and select'Reset Safari...'. You will be presented with a list of items that can be reset. I suggest selecting the 'Reset saved names and passwords', and 'Remove all website data' options at a minimum.
    Here is a list of the options and what they do. I pulled it from the Safari help page.
    Clear history:
    Clears the list of webpages you viewed.
    Reset Top Sites:
    Clears any changes you made to Top Sites, such as adding or pinning sites. If you also clear your history, your Top Sites page reverts to showing the webpage previews displayed when you first installed Safari.
    Remove all webpage preview images:
    Clears any thumbnail images Safari saved of webpages you viewed.
    Clear the Downloads window:
    Clears the list of files you downloaded from websites. Only the names are removed; the files themselves are still on your disk until you remove them.
    Remove all website icons:
    Removes website icons, which are small graphics that help identify sites on the Internet. You see them in the Safari address field and bookmarks list, and other places. These icons are stored on your computer.
    Remove saved names and passwords:
    Removes user names and passwords that Safari automatically fills in at websites that require them (if the AutoFill feature is turned on).
    Remove other AutoFill form text:
    Removes some personal information, such as telephone numbers, that Safari uses to automatically fill in forms on webpages (if the AutoFill feature is turned on). Removing AutoFill information does not remove information from your address book.
    Close all Safari windows:
    If you don’t close all Safari windows, someone could use the Back and Forward buttons to view the webpages you visited.
    Reset all location warnings:
    Clears any information websites saved about your location.
    Remove all website data:
    Removes cookies, tracking information, and other data that websites stored on your computer.

    This is a common concern among Android and I-phone user, and one of the drawbacks to using a smart phone.  We lose so much privacy. Our phones become cameras into our homes for us to be spied on.
    I don't know what type of phone you have, if it is even a smart phone, but here is an example of an application that you can use to determine which applications are accessing your information and sending it out.

    Google just recently revamp their permissions geared to hide invasive applications that spy and send out your information without your knowledge.  Report says be aware of what your Android app does - CNET

    I am monitoring AD server from SCOM 2012 R2. My management server goes into waning state. When i run Health explorer then it come back in the healthy state but after some time it again goes into warning state. After seeing alert i found that a alert is coming

    The Windows Event Log Provider is still unable to open the DhcpAdminEvents event log on computer 'nc2vws12ad5.corp.nathcorp.com'.
    The Provider has been unable to open the DhcpAdminEvents event log for 64080 seconds.
    Most recent error details: The RPC server is unavailable.
    Please suggest me how to resolve this so that my management server will again come back in healthy state.

    Can you give details on the below ?
    Is there really a log named "Dhcpadminevents" in the MS's Event viewer ?
    Did you recently configure any new alert where you mentioned "Dhcpadminevents"
    as a event log location ?
    If yes then what is the target you selected for the rule / monitor there ?
    Can you post the results for analysis ?

    Can FTP-access to field point log file interrupt the running program?
    We have a problem where our factory process control program on a Field Pointer suddenly stops the process. We are running the development system on a PC, wich deploys the program on the Field point, with user interface on the PC. Quite often the process stops for no apparent reason. I'm not sure right now if the control program on the Field Point is still running or if it stops. We use FTP from a distant PC (over VPN) directly to the Field Point to check if the process is running, by looking for date and size of log files produced during running process. I've never opened och copied any log file during process run, because this I'm sure this would cause problems for new log entries to be written. But can the mere looking at the log folder via XP-pros ftp-functionality cause the Field Point to have problems writing data to a log file?
    I'm not sure how windows XP pro handles "my network places" when it comes to FTP, it look that it keeps some kind of local copy of the folders, or at least the files opened.
    Next version of the program will have only basic functionality on the Field Point, leaving logging etc. to another program on the PC, but right now we are stuck with this system.

  • Nered to know where I can view ACL denies regarding "access-list deny any log" ?

    I ask this question in the context of an SNMP access list. I am guessing that this line of config (access-list deny any log) will allow you to see which addresses were denied SNMP access.
    I need to know where I can view the source addresses from where the packets were dropped? Could this be just in sh log? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers

    Yes, with an extended access-list with the last line:
    deny ip any any log
    with "sh log" you can  see the source address of the packets being dropped.
    Take note that you must be at least in the logging level 6 (informational), by default console and monitor are in level 7 (debugging):
    logging console debugging
    logging monitor debugging
    With older IOS versions (before at least 12.4) you had to add the following lines at the bottom of the acl:
    access-list 101 deny   tcp any range 0 65535 any range 0 65535 log
    access-list 101 deny   udp any range 0 65535 any range 0 65535 log
    access-list 101 deny   icmp any any log
    access-list 101 deny   ip any any log
    to log the sources and destinations IPs and port numbers.

    However since this issue is applicable only when I am posting in TechNet forums and I cannot get a solution in Win 10 TP forum, I figure I'll take a shot here.

    I cannot post "live" links in TechNet forums.
    By 'live" links, I mean links that one can click at and open to the destination.
    For years, I use copy/paste links and it works all the time, until 9926 installed, I cannot do so anymore. I have to use Insert hyper link option.

    How can I access the forums when Adobe won't accept any screen name I use?

    I've been using Lightroom for years and I still goof up sometimes: do something to multiple when I intended only one, or do something to one when I intended multiple.
    Some people will cite a fairly simple set of rules for targeting, which do indeed cover most day-to-day cases, but there are *many* exceptions to those rules.

  • Page Errors accessing Adobe Forums, Please Help !!

    Hey Folks,
    My work and personal laptop are unable to access any forum on the Adobe site using Internet Explorer. If I enable debugging, the errors that I receive before the webpage fails to respond include:
    'Jive' is undefined
    'JiveSpotLightSearch' is undefined
    'JiveViewThreads' is undefined
    Line: 2325 Error: Object Expected
    These all seem to be related to Jive Softwares "Clearspace" software that is used on the Adobe site. None of the forums, Yahoo, or google seem to have any information on this problem. It has got to be a missing add-on, a security setting, or some other inocculous problem.
    I had to load Firefox just to access this forum to post this thread !

    I have tried disabling WinPatrol and Norton Antivirus and the problem remains.
