Canon 6D and Bridge CS6
I just purchased a canon 6D. I am unable to view my files in Bridge CS6. I go to help and updates, and it says that everything has been updated. What do I need to do?
Check your camera raw version to be sure it has been updated to camera raw version 7.3 (current is 8.6).
In Bridge: Edit > Camera Raw Preferences. Camera Raw version will be at the top of the preferences.
If it's not 7.3 or later you need to update Photoshop CS6, not Bridge. Direct update link: Be sure to elect the download version for Photoshop CS6.

Illustrator and Bridge CS6 don't launch in Mac 10.8.5
Recently, when I try to run Illustrator and Bridge CS6, my mac doesn't let me do while initializing (it shows a splash) and gives me "Adobe Illustrator CS6 quit unexpectedly". I can run Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop (package of CS6 design standard). It was working about a month ago.
I already tried to uninstall/reinstall Illustrator, delete preferences and font caches, changing version among 16.0.0-16.0.4, and downgrade Java SE from 1.7.? to 1.6.0_65. I haven't installed any plug-ins yet. Also, I haven't upgraded to Marvericks.

You can try all 4 at once, or one at a time (up to you, sounds like you know what you are doing), that is the order I recomend to least disrupt your current install -
My Photoshop and Bridge CS6 is getting spastic ( long waits when I back out of a folder, etc. ) Is it still OK to deactivate and reinstall?
First, have you tried resetting your Preferences? It does fix a lot of problems.

If you need a quick and dirty way to restore your preferences, here's a way you can do it using a keyboard shortcut on launch:
Windows - CTRL-SHIFT-ALT immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
Macintosh - CMD-SHIFT-OPTION immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
Bridge:
Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK. -

Camera Raw not working with Photoshop and Bridge CS6
Hi guys,
Had a hard-drive meltdown the other week and lost everything. I have re-downloaded and installed most of my important software, including the CS6 suite. I used to use camera raw alot with my .CR2 files and it worked fine for ages, now though, it doesn't work at all.
I have run an update and everything is up to date now, i've purged the cache and it's still not working, no preview on bridge or anything.
I have also tried going through the Camera raw updates on the Adobe website. I have tried deleting the plug in and redownloading it altogether too, no help.
Furthermore, when i try to open a .CR2 file through bridge into photoshop i get a message window:

How to uninstall Media Encoder and Bridge CS6?
I'm using the CC 2014 version of all my Adobe apps, except I still need Encore CS6 because there isn't a newer version. I uninstalled Premiere CS6, but I still have Bridge and Media Encoder left over in my Applications folder. Neither of these has an uninstaller, like the other apps do. Are they required for Encore to function, and if not, what's the best way to remove them? I wanted to hear from someone at Adobe before I just throw them in the trash.

Updating Photoshop and Bridge CS6
I'm trying to update Photoshop CS6 13.0.0. to 13.0.3 The Update option under "Help" menu is grayed out and when I manually download the upgrade and try and install either 13.0.1 or 13.0.3, I get:
"Updates could not be applied
Please contact your Administrator if you wish to apply updates on your machine. Updates have been suppressed by the Administrator."
I am the Administrator! I have uninstalled Photoshop and re-installed 13.0.0 and still get the same error...
System: Mac OSX 10.8.2

How do I uninstall (Adobe Cloud) PS and Bridge CS6?
I have been having problems with Adobe Bridge and ACR and after talking with others, including NAPP Help Desk, it has been determined that I need to uninstall and reinstall both programs. I was told to uninstall through the Adobe Application Manager, however, I see NO option there to uninstall. Please advise. Thank you!

CS5 & CS6 (Photoshop and Bridge) file association fix ?
My Win7 SP1 system is now runnging smoothly with Bridge CS5 properly invoking Photoshop PS5 and Bridge CS6 invoking Photoshop PS6. Simply changing the File type associations in Bridge CS5 did not seem to work. This was "solved" at 3AM last night while sipping a glass of Scotch - therefore it would be interesting if others would confirm my sleepy discovery:
1. CS6 assigns all standard graphics files to be associated with CS6 and thus causes Bridge CS5 to invoke Photoshop PS6. The objective is to have Bridge CS5 invoke PS5 at least for chosen file types. Ensure neither CS5 nor CS6 is invoked.
2. In the Win7 Start Menu search box, type "file association".
3. Select the "Change the file type associated with a file extension". This starts a window titled "Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program".
4. All of the graphic files are assocated with CS6. For those files you want to associate with Photoshop PS 5, click on the choses file extension (e.g. .cr2, .nef, .psd, etc) and click on the "Change Program" to associate the extension to Adobe Photoshop CS5. (note. this step seems to be a necessary operation since, when I simply modified the Bridge 5 file type associations, Bridge 5 did not honour the change).
5. Start Bridge CS5. Choose "Edit -> Preferences -> File Type Associations".
6. For each file type you wish opened in CS5, change the association from CS6: choose the "Browse" option and locate the CS5 version of Photoshop.exe". This is probably in Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)/Photoshop.exe. I happen to choose .cr2, nef, and .psd. Click on OK to complete the association.
At this point, you can invoke Bridge 5 and it will properly invoke PS 5. If you invoke Bridge 6, it will invoke PS6. If you use file manager to invoke one of your selected file extension types, it will start Bridge PS 5. Other graphic files will start PS 6.
If you wish, you can go back and reassociate the chosen types to CS 6 - but your Bridge 5 will still invoke PS5 for your chosen extensions since the Bridge-assigned file associations takes priority over the windows default programme.Great summary! I will amend the association FAQ

I am using CC on a Mac.
Following tips from these forums, I Installed Premier Pro CS6, and then removed it so that I can keep and use Encore CS6.
I find that I now have Bridge CC and Bridge CS6.
If I remove the CS6 Bridge, will Encore still work?

Photoshop won't open my raw files and Bridge won't show thumbnails

I'm having trouble with my Photoshop CS6 and Bridge CS6 on my Mac. It's been working fine until a few days ago, but now the image thumbnails won't load in Bridge, and I'm not able to open RAW-files in Photoshop (same thing happens when opening both from Bridge or in Finder).
When trying to open the files in Photoshop a pop up message shows up saying this:
"Photoshop cannot open this file.
If you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed via Help > Updates.

I'm not able to click on updates, so that won't help me much. What can I do to get it back to normal again?I do not use a Mac but Windows as delivered from Microsoft does not generate Thumbnails for RAW files or even Photoshop Files like PSD in order to seen the in Windows UI like Windows File Explore (Mac Finder) or in File Open and selection Dialog one needs to install some windows add on. I use FastPictureViered Codec Package, When installed on Windows I can have the thumbnails your looking for. Perhaps You need some Mac add on or Apple Update the see thumbnails for RAW files. I see things like this on the web Digital Camera RAW Compatibility 4.06

Contact sheet II not working in photoshop CS6 or bridge CS6?
I keep getting error messages in photoshop CS6 and Bridge CS6 when trying to create a contact sheet. Does anyone know what the problem might be? The error messages I'm getting are attached.
I just found the solution, so simple: My bluetooth connection was on, so my Macbook connected to my external keyboard, which caused the problem.

I tried holding the option button (im using a Mac w/ Snow Leopard) and clicking the app to reset to factory settings but still nothing.

TreeView doesn't display in Bridge CS6 but it does in ESTK
running Bridge CS6 on Windows 7.
Although I tried a lot of existing .jsx scripts first, I have narrowed down my test case to this code typed into the ESTK with targets of ExtendScript Toolkit CS6, Bridge CS5.1 (4.1), Bridge CS6 (5.032), and Bridge CS6 (64 bit) (5.064).

A search around the forums and the web shows that I am not the only one having this problem.Yes there are a lot of problems with CS6 Bridge Scripting but the Bridge team have still not acknowledged them...
