Canon iR C5185i and Lion - Dept ID Management

I've been doing a lot of digging around and I can't find too much relating to Lion, but if this question has been answered for the most recent version of OSX then I would greatly appreciate a link.  Most of the answers I find are for Snow Leopard and applying the same tricks just don't seem to work.  I've got a Macbook Pro with all software updates.
We have a Canon ImageRunner C5185i here in our office.  We have Department ID Management enabled for color printing.  I've tried every available combination of drivers from Canon's site and I just can't seem to get our department ID's to pass through to the printer, even though I've stored them in the printer settings.
Most of the time, if I can even get the print job to make it to the printer, the status says "On hold (Authentication required)".  Even if I get into the printer settings and enter my department ID, it won't let me verify the ID against the copier.  It almost always fails.  I've enabled the "Job Accounting" in the driver settings and put my department ID in the driver utility.  My current status, which is the closest to success I've gotten, is that the job makes it to the printer and simply says "Printer is in use.  Waiting for the print job to finish."  There are no other print jobs in memory on the device.  I'm using the Canon iR C5185 UFR II (US) driver at this time and it seems to get me closer than any other driver from Canon.
I was hoping that someone could walk me through finding what drivers I'd need and any tips for making sure my department ID passes through to the device for authentication.  I'm fully capable of following the most technical directions you have, but explain it to me like I'm 5 to make sure I don't miss anything.

I probably should have mentioned that this device is primarily shared out on our Windows server, but I've also tried printing to IP.  Ideally, we would like to use the Windows queue, but I'll take what I can get.
If you want to use Dept ID from the Mac then you won't be able to print via the Windows server. To support Dept ID the Mac driver needs bidirectional communication with the printer, and it does not get this when printing via a Windows queue - even if you enable LPD. Also, with printing via Windows, your Mac should use the Canon PPD due to issues with the PS and UFR2 drivers via shared queues and the PPD does not support Dept ID''s.
I disabled Department ID Management and got the following results:
Print to IP with UFR driver - "Printer in user. Waiting for the print job to finish".  (Printer was not in use at the time)
Print to IP with PS driver - Job hangs in queue  (Job sent to printer 100%)
Print to IP with PPD - Job hangs in queue ("The printer is busy")
With the PS and UFR2 drivers failing, it would suggest that the LPR in the iR C5185 is turned off, as this is the default protocol both of these drivers use - regardless of what IP protocol you select when adding the queue. As for the PPD, this will use whatever IP protocol you select. So if you did select LPD then this would confirm the matter.
So using the Remote UI (that's the name of the internal web page of the copier) you can select Additional Functions > Custom Settings > Network Settings > TCP/IP and check that LPD is enabled. Note that the path I just wrote could be missing a parameter - I just typed it from memory.
Print to Windows share with UFR driver - "The printed output may be incorrect because the printer information has not been acquired.  Start Printer Utility to get the printer information"
               -An error occurred.: -50
-Starting Printer Utility does not gather printer information
Print to Windows share with PS driver - Job sent to printer, error NG #853
Print to Windows share with PPD - 21 pages printed out, mostly blank, first page has error ""%!PS-Adobe-3.0, %APL_DSC_Encoding: UTF8, %APLProducer: (Version 10.7.4 (Build 11E53)
For the first two, not surprised with those results because as mentioned above, the UFR2 and PS drivers don't work that well - or at all - when configured to print via a Windows print queue. They must be configured on the Mac to print directly to the imageRUNNER.
The last one is a concern, because it would normally be a sign that the printer does not support Postscript. Do you know which printer driver the Windows computers are using? If they are using the UFR2 driver then maybe your iR C5185 does not have Postscript, which will stop you using the PS and PPD on the Mac. If no one is sure what printer language the iR C5185 supports you can check via the Remote UI. Again via Additional Functions > Custom Settings you should see Printer Settings. And under this heading will be the printer languages supported. If you see UFR2 and maybe PCL (which Windows could also be using) but no PS then this will limit you to using the UFR2 driver on the Mac.

Would this work better if we were to access the server through OSX Server?  Right now, our Macbooks are bound to our Windows domain.
No. Like Windows server, OS X server does not support Dept ID for clients either. And until you determine what protocol the iR C5185 supports, the server queue will give the same errors as you got on the Mac client.
So in summary, three things to check;
Does the iR C5185 support Postscript (PS)
Is the LPR protocol enabled in the TCP/IP settings
Which printer driver are the Windows computers using

  • WARNING:  Canon Pro Printers and CS4 – Serious Colour Management Issue

Over the last four days (and over fifty prints) I have undertaken extensive and meticulous tests to identify the cause of a problem; namely that targets for profiling a new printer (a Canon Pro9000), printed with ‘no colour management’, were printing far too dark and with what appeared to be a colour cast.
I have conclusively eliminated the printer, the printer drivers, the Mac OS, corrupted preference files, corrupted user accounts, incorrect Photoshop settings, incorrect printer driver settings, the ‘sticky settings' issue, and user error as possible causes of the problem.
I can say with 95% certainty that my tests, conducted using Mac OSX 10.4.11, have proved the following:
That, printing to a Canon Pro9000 or iP4500, Photoshop CS4 does not print accurate targets suitable for producing profiles.  This applies to both the No Colour Management (NCM) and the Printer Manages Colour (PMC) settings.
Photoshop CS and CS2 are not effected.
    I did not test CS3.
Furthermore, colour managed prints (using the same accurate profile made in CS2), printed in CS2 and CS4, show subtle differences.  This may not be an issue except in the most critical applications.
It is likely that the problem will not be confined to the two Canon printers above since many other Canon printers share the same driver architecture.
Reading posts and discussions on other websites would seem to indicate that this problem is also manifest with some Epson printers and may also effect Mac OSX 10.5.
I have to conclude, therefore, that Photoshop CS4 cannot be replied upon to print targets of sufficient accuracy to produce reliable profiles for a colour managed workflow.
The fact that this is only just being reported can be attributed to four factors:
That many CS4 users are continuing to use profiles made under older versions of Photoshop and have yet to make new profiles using CS4.
Some users may not immediately notice a problem, or may ascribe it to other causes.
Some users may take the line of least resistance and use a previous version of Photoshop to work around the problem.
Some users are still using the older versions of Photoshop not effected.
Eric Chan (of Adobe) has stated on another website that CS4 implemented some new APIs for printing and that this has given rise to some "minor glitches".  If Eric Chan is correct, and Adobe changed the APIs in Photoshop CS4, this begs question of whether Adobe sufficiently tested CS4 before release ?  If Adobe did not test their software, and therefore failed to identify this critical problem, this would suggest negligence on Adobe’s part.  If Adobe identified the problem but then did not inform users that a potentially serious colour management issue existed this would suggest wilful or gross negligence.
It is not good enough to say that Adobe simply followed the ‘conventional’ path and ‘followed the rules’ regarding API implementation.  The experience of end users does not correspond to a “minor glitch” and, in my case, has been extremely costly in terms of time (over five days in all), lost revenues, and materials.  Furthermore, why should Adobe's customers be forced to use their valuable time diagnosing problems clearly of Adobe's creation – and actually admitted.
In UK law providers of goods and services (and this includes software) have to supply them as “fit for purpose”.  Clearly, in terms of colour management, CS4 is not fit for purpose.  Neither can Adobe hide behind its labyrinthine licensing terms since any exclusions would be ruled unlawful under the UK’s ‘Unfair Contract Terms’ Act.
My strong and unequivocal recommendation is that representatives from Adobe, Apple, and the printer manufacturers meet together – with the utmost urgency – and provide a rapid and complete solution.  It is simply not good enough to pass this ‘over the wall’ saying “it’s not our problem”.  It is.  Adobe's, Apple's, and the printer manufacturers'.  Please solve it.  And quickly.
Identify the problem clearly, make it and the solution/s public; and publicise it widely and thoroughly.

    Dear DYP.
    Thank you for your concern.
    "What fixes have you tried?"
If I may quote from my post above:
"I have conclusively eliminated the printer, the printer drivers, the Mac OS, corrupted preference files, corrupted user accounts, incorrect Photoshop settings, incorrect printer driver settings, the ‘sticky settings' issue, and user error as possible causes of the problem.
I can say with 95% certainty that my tests, conducted using Mac OSX 10.4.11, have proved the following:

Photoshop CS and CS2 are not effected.
    I did not test CS3"
These tests took place over three weeks and involved over five days of work and the replacement of the printer on Canon's recommendation (although the printer is clearly not at fault).
Please note that I am using Mac OSX 10.4.11.
"What driver versions are you using?"
Pixma iP4500 6.9.3 (also 6.9.1, 6.9.2 and the driver supplied on the CD).
Pro 9000 4.8.7 (also 4.7.3, 4.8.4 and the driver supplied on the CD).
"Yes it is frustrating but in a lot of cases it is fixable as I and others have clear reported, on this and the LR forums."
I have not found any fix on any website referring to Canon printers, despite exhaustive searches (this includes Canon's European and US websites which are mute on the issue).
The ReadMe file supplied with the installation disc of CS4 refers to problems with "some Canon printers" when printing with the 'Printer Manages Color' but does not identify using 'No Color Management' nor Epson printers as having issues.
I hope this post answers your questions.
Clearly all users of CS4 need to be warned of this problem which is likely to effect other printers.  I believe that I am assisting others by issuing this warning.  It is done, not to cause mischief, but in the spirit of a public service.  CS4 users can then treat their printing results from CS4 with caution, and then conduct their own tests.  I have presented a workaround which is to use a prior version of CS4.

  • Canon A1 iPF605 and Lion / Mountain Lion Crashing

Have had this problem with Lion and now also Mountain Lion.
I have two printers on the network, our Brother A4 colour laser workhorse and a newer Canon A1. The Canon iPF605 has drivers from Canon which should I believe work at least with OSX 10.7 but they never did on my machine with Lion and still don't now after Mountain Lion upgrade.
The symptom is that no matter what program I am using (Safari, Firefox, Preview, Adobe, Mail even!) if I go to the print menu, and in the drop down menu select my Canon A1 printer the program will crash presumably in trying to load the Canon driver software. I have three other Macs in the office which all run Snow Leopard and the printer software works OK on those. I really want to bring some of the other machines up to Mountain Lion but A1 printing is a necessity here.
I am using latest Canon drivers 2.66 from here: http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010633.asp. I don't know if I can maybe install a generic driver? Don't need any flashy features just want to print A1 to the printer in colour.
As a note the Canon utility software works OK

There is no driver for the OS Version you selected. The driver may be included in your OS or you may not need a driver. Refer to our FAQ section for connectivity issues.
In such a case as this I offer the following solution:
People who need to SCAN and/or PRINT without a compatible Lion or Montain Lion driver from their manufacturer can use Apple's very basic "PRINT & SCAN" utility in System Preferences:
Click the Apple menu ( ), and then click System Preferences .
    Click Print & Scan ( ).
    Click Print .
The next window looks like this:
    Hope this helps

  • I loaded Mountain Lion and now my Canon Canoscan LIDE100 Scanner won't work. I reloaded the application, checked the driver & loaded the Canon driver for Mountain Lion. Aplication starts to load then hangs up on 80% complete.   Any suggestions?

I loaded Mountain Lion and now my Canon Canoscan LIDE100 Scanner won't work. I reloaded the application, checked the Cannon website for the correct driver & loaded the Canon driver for Mountain Lion. Aplication starts to load then hangs up on 80% complete.   Any suggestions?

Might have a hardware issue that was caused by the minor liquid spill.
Take it to Apple to have them look at it.  I think they do a free diagnostics.  That way you can find out what's wrong with your MB.
Good luck....Hope you get it sorted out.

  • AEBS and Lion Server DHCP

    Hi All!
I have a scenario I want some input on.
1 Mac Mini Lion Server 10.7.2
    1 TC 2nd Gen
    x iPads
    x iPhones
    2 Lion clients
I want to use the Lion Server for all collaboration services, and use Profile Manager to provide central management of iOS and Lion clients, and I want to use network accounts on the server.
All is set up and working well, mail, ical, wiki, addressbook, VPN servers, profile manager settings, apart from one thing. how do I best push DNS server settings to the client to point to the server?
In the TC there are no way to set what DNS server is served to clients. That would solve my case in an instant. Now all clients get the ISPs DNS servers, or pass-through of whatever DNS server is set up on the TC.
    I have 2 possible solutions:
    1. Set up TC to only provide 1 DHCP address reserved for the server, and then use DHCP on the Lion Server for the internal clients. This will work as it has been tested by other users here on this forum.
    2. Set the DNS server on the TC to point to the local Lion Server. I actually just came up with this idéa as I was typing.... maybe that is the answer? The inernal clients get the internal server as DNS and the server uses forwarders or roothints.
What do you think? If you have this combo, TC/AEBS and Lion Server, how did you solve it?
    /Hasse

    Hi All!
I actually found the solution myself. Soluton 2 does the trick brilliantly! I can't imagine why I didn't think of this before. I have searched this forum for a solution too, but this just was too easy . The Lion Server advanced admin guide didn't mention this either, even in the chapter about AEBS coexistance.

  • Canon ICC profiles and color printing issues

    I use two Canon printers -- an all-purpose MP460 and a iP4000 for photos.
I use Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy II paper and Canon inks.
I print with color management off in the "Print Settings" and by selecting the ICC profile from the drop down in the Aperture print window.
Since updating to Snow Leopard, the MP460 prints images that are consistently dark using the "SP" ICC profiles.
The iP4000 has an issue in that it prints images from Aperture with magenta cast in areas of yellow to orange tones.
I have had prints made through online services that have come back accurate, so I am wondering . . . is this a Canon profile or driver issue? I haven't tried printing from Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as of yet.
    Any suggestions?
It is very, very frustrating since prints from these printers were fine before Snow Leopard.

I have a Canon IP5200 and had numerous problems with Aperture printing from OS X10.6.2.
In November Canon came out with new print drivers. With SNL 10.6.2 update and new canon drivers my prints come out pretty well using canon's ICC profiles. I use the PR3 canon ICC with Costco (Kirkland) paper and am pleased with the results. Hope that helps

  • Using Aperture 3 and Lion I can no longer view .mov file

Using Aperture 3 and Lion I can no longer view .mov files from a Canon G11. I get a thumbnil which is a triangle with !. If I right click I can open it with Quick time. I cannot import any of the files into iMovie as it does not recognize them in Aperture or iPhoto.  From other dicussions I tried removing 3ivvxVideoCodec.componenet from Quiktime Library and retarted with no success, so iI restored the file.

    You are welcome;
there is another problem with videos, that might apply in your your case, when you reimport the videos, after you deinstalled the codec - the location you are importing from, and the permission settings, see this post:
Re: Aperture cannot read newly imported video since Lion upgrade.

  • Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Server - Device Management?

    Hi,
I would like to know in details what devices does the Mac OS X Lion Server manages? And how does the server manage the devices such as iPhone and iPad etc?
My company is currently using Apple Mac Mini Server. and would like to manage the devices.
    Many Thanks.
    Carson

You could try booting from an external USB hard drive and using a data recovery utility like Data Rescue X.  Your mileage will vary depending on the circumstances.  I would only try recovering data files and not recover the whole system.  No sense fooling with an OS when it is trivial to reinstall and know it is working.  Make an image of a freshly configured OS to aid in recovery like this.
Retrieve your documents & preferences if you are lucky.   The data may still be there, but file names and other meta data may not be recoverable.   If file names are not recoverable, then you will have tons of files to sort through trying to make sense of what is what.  They are sorted by type, but you will be surprised at the number of such files used by the system and in temp/cache files.  I recently had a case where someone deleted a bunch of files and then emptied the Trash.  I got the files back, but with no file names.  I was unable to find a way to retrieve the file names and even asked a forensic recovery expert for any reasonably priced software to do it.
If this is your only Apple computer and you need to make a bootable  external drive, then make sure to install OSX on the external drive and not on the internal drive you are trying to recover.

  • Canon MXF files and Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

Ok I have searched every where for an answer to this problem but I cant find any answers. I have Master Collection CS5 and have just recently upgraded to a Canon XF 300 camera and a new PC with the following Stats
    Windows 7 Pro
Intel i7 950 Quad Core Processor
    24GB Corsair DDR 2000mhz Ram
    Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
Zotac GeForce GTX 470 Amp Graphics card
Now I'm working on a 2 and a half minute corporate video using footage shot on the XF300 and 5 clips shot on the 7D. the footage looks amazing but thats not the problem the problem is that every time i load up the project now every time i scrub the timeline the pc freezes and the premiere crashes. I can't keep working like this, it also appears that Almost all of my 24gb is taken up.
I have been working on the project today and i have only managed to move 2 shots the rest of the time the PC is frozen or adobe is restarting. This is becoming a major joke now, is this a bug and will it be fixed? as no one can work like this.
I have a short film to start filming in a few weeks and im looking at having almost 200 shots to edit now at the moment I'm editing only 25 shots and adobe cant handle it how the hell am i going to edit almost 200?
Any news or answers will help me out as im at a loss

I have a system with the following specs...
    Motherboard:  ASUS P6X58D Premium
CPU:                 Core i7 950 3.0GHz Quad Core with HT 8meg Cache (with Hyperthreading)
    RAM:                 Kingston 12 GB (3 x 4 GB)  DDR3 - Hyper X 1600 MHz
GPU:                 NVIDIA GTX480 (accessing the Mercury Playback Engine)
OS:                    Windows 7 Professional 64bit version
    System drive:   1 x WD VelociRaptor WD1500HLHX 150GB - 10,000 RPM
    Media drive:     (RAID 10 setup) 4 x WD VelociRaptor WD6000HLHX 600GB - 10,000 RPM
IO:                      Matrox MXO2 Mini with MAX
    Adobe Premiere CS5
I've just played a 10 minute timeline with 12 layers of MFX files in realtime with no problems at all. It's only using 20% CPU and 45% RAM. I've done the same with different effects applied to each clip. The Mercury Playback Engine deals with the effects so they don't impact on the CPU or RAM usage. I'm not sure why I'm having success when you aren't. The Matrox MXO2 may possibly be a factor as that accelerates some processes.

I'm looking for a solution that doesn't involve reinstalling Mountain Lion if that is at all possible. It seems to me like it should, as that's not so much a solution as just starting over. If you need more from Console, just let me know. Also, I have tried all the threads that relate to restarting, rebooting, or reconfiguring Device Manager and none of them work; at the end I still get the message "No such file or directory."
    Thanks for the help!

Finally figured the problem out on my own. Thank you to the apple support community for all your help. Full story, I installed OSX Server and then changed the Service Data location to an external hard drive. After that the Profile Manager immediately stopped working. Several reinstallations later and still not working. The problem was not even a little related to /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/share/devicemgr/backend/wipeDB .sh, which is the answer everyone else on the internet was giving. The problem was that Profile Manager was no longer installed/installing for whatever reason. So, I went in and reinstalled just Profile Manager from the Server.app and now everything is working great. If things stop working I'll update this post. This is how:
To begin, delete /private/var/devicemgr. This file is created during the install and if it already exists, the install won't work.
Open terminal and copy sudo /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/System/Library/ServerSetup/CommonE xtras/80-devicemgrcommon.sh
That is all I had to do and Profile Manager works great for me now. Hope this helps someone.

  • I lost my ability to view PDFs with update and Lion install. Says "plugin missing", please help?!?!

I lost my ability to view PDFs with update and Lion install. Says "plugin missing", please help?!?!
I am trying to finish up a paper for my masters and now I am stuck because the library website won't work without PDF

Adobe has a knowledgebase article on this.
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/905/cpsid_90508.html
    Acrobat family
Adobe Reader plug-in and Acrobat plug-in are not compatible with the Safari 5.1 browser, which will ship with Mac OS X 10.7 and for 10.6 in July 2011. Adobe Reader and Acrobat will continue to work as standalone applications on Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.6, and will render PDF documents outside of the browser. In addition, Safari 5.1 renders PDF documents natively. However, the Adobe Reader and Acrobat plug-ins will not function as expected in LiveCycle and Acrobat workflows that require either plug-in to render PDF documents in Safari 5.1.
    Recommendation to Customers/Users:
For Acrobat customers who utilize functionality like forms, digital signatures, portfolios, guides, 3D, extended PDFs and rights management, and who require the Acrobat plug-in to render PDF documents in the Safari browser, Adobe recommends that you continue to use Safari 5.0.x and Mac OS X 10.6. We will provide updates as we continue to investigate this issue.

  • ARD and Lion?

Don't know if this will help:
I've LAN Remote connection but not WAN in my new Lion (from Leopard, SNL and Lion). No ARD, no Screen Sharing, no afp. I've tried everything (also downgrade to ARD 3.4) and go crazy.
Finally I see Lion Remote management don't open port 3283 (how we can open that, now? Impossible with Firewall on and off). I think instead use port 3031 (eppc, Remote AppleEvents).
I've opened port 3031 in the router and now works fantastic.

I've finally figured out what's going on. (with my setup anyway)
I have a second monitor connected - a 22" Samsung. But here's the key - the monitor pivots 90 degrees - I like it for reading long web pages, and in the displays system preference you can set the monitor up for that rotation. So they are arranged like this:
If I control the iMac with that setup I get an instant kernel panic when I Observe or Control (most other commands work fine).
I can prevent the kernel panic completely by turning off the monitor rotation - the below does not cause a kernel panic when I control or observe.
Disconnecting the 2nd monitor also works, naturally, but kind of defeats the purpose of having a 2nd monitor.
I've tested this for a few hours now to be sure, and it seems to be reliable - rotate the monitor and it panics when controlled or observed, don't rotate it and all works fine.
This worked with no problems in 10.7.1 and ARD 3.5.1, and my work iMac is on 10.6.8 with ARD 3.5.1 and the exact same rotated monitor and that works fine. So it must be 10.7.2 that's caused this issue with this iMac.
Jamie - any chance you have a 2nd monitor pivotted 90 degrees?
timben - thanks for the RAM tip - I'd thought of that and tried new/different RAM and hardware test - but all tested fine, but the panics still happened.
Seeing the same thing too.  As you say, it's the rotated monitor.  I have the exact same monitor configuration (Apple 30" display and an additional display to the left rotated 90 degrees).
Also, mine doesn't panic, it just freezes instantly and completely.  Can't even SSH in or ping the machine.
My machine is a Mac Pro 1,1 with an brand new SSD and ATI 5780 graphics card.
    Worked perfectly in Snow Leopard.
Just installed a fresh copy of 10.7.2.  Sigh - now I can't get into my computer.

  • Mountain Lion Server Profile Manager error

I recently setup a Mountain Lion server (10.8.2) to manage multiple ipads and Macs with Profile Manager in a PC oriented Active Directory environment.
I setup an SSL certificate and bound to the organization's active directory (with Directory Utility) and that all works fine.
We are now simply trying to assign the rights to individual users to use Profile Manager and running into trouble.
Using the Server app, we click on a user (or group) and then go to assign rights (with the gear menu).
The list of items to assign is supposed to come up.
Instead the list never comes up.
Can anyone shed any light on what we have to do?

What are you trying to do
Assign what users can use the profile managers web interface
or restrict what users can and can't have devices registered to their name in profile manager

  • My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management

I have recently purchased a Mac computer (updated to Maverick) to go with my Epson Stylus Photo RX500 printer which has given excellent service with my old Windows computer. However, when trying to print pictures or photos via Photoshop Elements 11, the best results I can get are using the Colour Management and Epson Colour controls in the printing options box.
My problem is that after printing the first photo or picture, when I come to print a second, both the Colour Management and Epson Colour Controls are greyed out and showing No Colour Management, The only way I can reset the controls is to shut down the printer and computer and restart.
Could there may be a setting somewhere that I need to adjust please?  I have been in touch with Epson and they say that the Epson Colour controls are part of the Photoshop Elements software but a post on the Adobe forum brought no results and I am unable to contact Adobe.
    <Edited by Host>

Hello Garry. Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have used a different title from "How do I post a question?" That should come after trying to resolved the colour settings first. However, to answer your question, after experimenting with all the different settings in Photoshop Elements and Epson software, I now start with PSE11 Colour settings then click "no colour management" then after clicking Print, I choose "More Options/Colour Management/Colour Handling/Printer Manages Colour" then I choose "Page Setup/Layout/Colour Matching" which then shows Epson Colour Controls but I also choose "Layout/Colour Management" which then shows "Colour Controls/Mode" I then of course choose an Epson printer profile depending on the paper I am using. I get good results but as I said, the Colour Matching and Colour Controls are then greyed out. Hope that makes sense.
