Canon Wi-Fi Printer Unable to find SSID after OS upgraded

I am using Canon MG4100 series printer. After I upgraded my iMac OS X 10.9 and also upgraded the firmware of my Time Capsule, my printer is no longer able to find the SSID. While all other devices have no issue except the Canon printer. Anyone can help?

Make sure the wireless names.. and TC name is smb compatible.
Short.. 2-20 characters
No spaces
Pure alphanumeric.
The standard apple names are invalid in most OS.
Even apple manipulate the network names..
Turn off security and fix the wireless to 11, 6, 1 in that order.. just as a test. If all of them fail,
Then I recommend you buy a cheap TP-Link, edimax etc wireless router and use it as a WAP.. plugged into the TC.

After running Software Update, I am unable to log in.
I found the following support article:

However, upon step 8 of the instructions, the following error appears:
delete Invalid Path
<dscl_cmd> DS Error: -14009 (eUnknownNodeName)
This is actually after an update (not an "upgrade"), so I'm not even sure these are the appropriate steps.
This is the second time that I have been unable to log in after an update. The first time, I attempted to reset the password with the installation DVD; however, this resulted in "No LDAP Master" errors and I installed Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Server on a second internal drive and configured everything again. After setting everything up on the second install, I was going to reformat the first boot drive. Unfortunately, I'm just back to where I started after running the updates. I'm not sure if having two volumes with Mac OS X Server installed makes a difference in the instructions in the article mentioned above or not.
Another question: Is resetting the password with the installer DVD the same as using the Single User approach ("launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist", "ls /Users", then "dscl . -delete /Users/username AuthenticationAuthority")?
If so, I'll just do that; however, I am hoping that the Single User approach might somehow avoid "No LDAP Master" errors again.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Unable to eject DVD after Win7 upgrade on Satellite L series

I have finished the windows 7 upgrade.
Everything went smoothly except thta at the end I was unable to eject the windows 7 upgrade DVD.
Using the push button on it, or right click on the lector then eject, nothing happens.
Should I look for drivers and where?

You dont need any drivers for that
If the CD/DVD drive is connected properly then you should be able to eject the disk without any big troubles maybe something clams somewhere
There is a tiny hole near the eject button use an small object like staple or something like that and put it carefully into this small hole. This should help to eject the disk.

Help! I had to uninstal and then re-instal the Canon Pixma MG 3220 printer. Now, I cannot find the L shaped toolbar. It doesn't exist. Is there some way to get it installed on to my computer Windows 8.1????

10.7.5 unable to find apps after reboot.

Lately, after I reboot, Lion seems to "forget" where my apps are. When I try to open a file, I get either a warning that this is the first time I'm opening a new app, or that it can't find the app for the file I've double-clicked on, and asks me to find it. Besides being annoying, it makes me wonder if something's going wrong with my OS. This Intel Quad Core Mac Pro and Lion OS are just over a year old. Any ideas or suggestions?

Have you moved any of the Apps out of the default Applications folder at any time?

Unable to print on HP LaserJet 4L after Tiger upgrade

I'm running Tiger 10.4.4 on a Mac PowerBook G4. Trying to print on an HP LaserJet 4L with a USB connection. I was able to print fine when using Panther, but when I upgraded to Tiger, my printouts now have garbled text on the first page. After that, several sheets of blank paper come out of the printer.
I've tried various HP drivers within Tiger and downloaded one from HP's website. All behave the same way.
I've searched the archives for an answer but to no avail. Please help!

Unable to find data after backup and installation of snow leopard

Lots of data has disappeared?
I backed up my data by dropping my hard disk icon onto an external drive, at the end of the copying process, i checked to see that the backup drive had used the same amount of file space that i had on the computer.
I then formatted my laptop and installed snow leopard, now when looking at the backup drive a cant see all my files?
i have done this at various other times without problems, any ideas

Repair disk permissions.
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

Unable to find HDD after erase with disk utility

Background id I had installed the Lion OS but then got into trouble with the "flashing question mark " at start up.
After using the recovery option, Lion OS was reinstalled and things were fine for a couple of days. Then the "flashing ?" returned
This time, it appeared the "Cmd R" did not work. So I browsed until I found out it is possible in the reinstallation, the recovery option was removed.
Ok, so then one of the discussion threads suggested to use the installer disc to boot up, use the disk utility to erase the HDD and install in my case Snow Leopard, and thereafter install the Lion OS.
I am stuck after clicking "erase". First there was an error message - "file system formatter failed' then I no longer can see the HDD in the disk utility.
How can complete the HDD erase function so I can proceed to install the OS?

A check in the system profiler - "There was an error while scanning for Serial ATA devices"
Looks like my iMac's HDD is kaput...Or is there a way to fix this?

IPhone 4 unable to 'find sim' after my holiday to Egypt.

I recently went on holiday to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt - the phone being able to work perfctly fine - yet over there I had the trouble of it saying 'No sim card installed.' Usually when I get this error I just take the sim out and put it back in and it's fixed.
I'm now back in the UK, and the problem persists. This only started overseas. Carrier is Orange, and I live in the UK.
Please help!

hi. did you update from iOS 7.0 or from iOS 6?
if you updated from iOS 6, then you problem is caused by the fact that the iOS operating system take more room on the iPhone, and since your iPhone must have been full when you backed it up, the additional OS features, prevent the backup from fully installing...
You would need to downgrade to iOS6, but this is not recommended at all, and could compromise your phone.
Hope it explains, even if I don't have the answer.
If no one posts any answers, call Apple Support.

Ipad 2 Print button does not work after 6 upgrade?

Since we upgraded to iOS6, our print button does not work and does not find our printer. It was working fine until iOS6. Called an Apple Technician and he had me reset, which wiped out all of my saved information but didn't fix the print. He then started talking about a restore but the phone line went dead. Has anyone had this problem?

Today's iOS 6.1 update fixed the printer problem.

My Epson Stylus SX535WD printer is not installing properly after Mavericks upgrade

Hi,
This morning - to my deep, deep regret - I uninstalled my Epson driver and associated software. I forget why I even did it now; I think it wasn't working very smoothly and I read on a forum it was wise to uninstall and reinstall if I have recently upgraded my operating software. I put Mavericks on back in February - and the printer/scanner has worked since then.
Anyway - I have spent the best part of the last 4 hours trying to reinstally the software - but now have no printers availabe as my constant error message. Epson advised me to install a 1.9Gb fix - which I have - and the latest epson software. But I can't find them on my laptop now. It is only when I click on Epson uninstall that I can see them sitting there - but with no indication of where they are on the computer. They aren't in downloads or applications... where else can i look? How else can I get this printer/scanner up and running again?

Canon scanner (Canoscan 8600F series) will not work after OS upgrade.

I used the scanner when when it was 10.6 just fine and 10.7 but as soon as I upgraded it to 10.8, it wouldn't. Officially the website supports up to 10.6. I don't know how it worked on 10.7. Now, it doesn't even recognize the scanner.
One thing was I did wipe out the drive and re-install the OS because OS upgrades would perform better. Trying to re-installing the older drivers don't help.

First, Canon (and a few other printer and scanner) drivers are distributed via Apple's software updates.
Then, 10.8.2 requires many if not most apps and drivers to be updated. If you just upgraded to 10.8.2, the newest drivers should be included, otherwise they should show up once you run Software Update.
Alternatively, you can check http://support.apple.com/downloads/ for the latest and greatest.
However, it appears that your scanner is not (yet?) supported in 10.8.2. Check here and follow the link there: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669#canon - your scanner is not listed.
Note that it's Canon's job to provide the drivers, Apple only helps distributing them. So, you may want to contact Canon and ask them, then sit and wait... sorry...
