Cant access app world

since the update i cant access the app world, i just get the multi coloured screen.
can anyone shed some light on it?

OK, then next, hold and press on ALL THREE buttons: Power, UP and DOWN volume, simultaneously for about 10 seconds. This will initiate a different type of reboot.
Then, make sure your WiFi is connected and try AppWorld again.

    What happens when you try? Error message?
    Have you synced apps from that computer/iTunes library? You can only sync apps from your one syncing computer.

  • Cannot access app world with playbook using only tethering via my bb phone to get on to the internet

    I am trying to access App World with my playbook.   I do not have wifii but have successfully connected to the internet using the blackberry bridge and tethering feature.  
    My smart phone - the bold 9000 - is tethered to the playbook; I can access app world from my phone;
    My phone is on a 3G network.
    The message I get is that I am not connected via Wifii and cannot access app world.   But, if I can access the internet, why can't I access app world?

    BlackBerry Playbook requires a Wi-Fi connection to use BlackBerry App World.

  • Cannot access App World - Get Error Message

    Everytime I try to open the App World I get the following message: Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError.
    Any ideas?

  • Cant download app world

    The version of app world on this phone said it needed upgrading before I could use it, I followed the link to the upgrade but it gave me an error message. Ive tried to google app world download & I get another error message, I have tried to download it thru my computer & it says this device is not supported for usb downloads, I have entered my email address & got an email with a link which I have followed and got another error message. You get the idea.
    Have deleted the app thru options, device, application management then tried to access the latest version using browser but it keeps sending an error message.
    I have wifi & have been using that to do it.
    I have a torch 9800.
    I am losing the will to live.

    Personally, I'd call them.
    Let me ask, at your homescreen top line, do you see the BlackBerry logo?
    On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status. What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

  • I downloaded ios7 and cant access apps

    I downloaded the ios7 and I can't find my apps? I can only access them if I go into the app world how do I get them back?

    Try a Restart. 
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
     Resetting your settings
    You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
    Resetting your device
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
    Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

  • Cannot access App World!!!!

    I have a BlackBerry ID but cannot log in to BlackBerry App World through my 3G Curve.  I have updated to the latest version and have the newest OS.
    Every time I try to log in it tells me "An error has occured.  Please try again later".  I have contacted O2 and they have stated that as I can access BBM and browse the web it is not their issue and it os for BlackBerry to sort out! 
    One other thing, I have not synchronised my e mail account (which is my BlackBerry ID), do I need to do this to access the App World (sounds silly but I thought I'd exhaust all avenues).

    Well, I found the answer...sort of. Bear in mind that I am using OS 2.0 Beta, so maybe this will be different for those who are not on this OS. Anyway, the short answer is that nothing worked, not even doing a security wipe. When I did that, my only app was the browser--no App World at all! So, I did a debrick, which is done by rebooting the PB while it is connected to desktop manager. That reloads the OS in its factory configuration. App World has been fine since then.
    Not a very gratifying solution, but not a terrible result either.

    Hi,
    I have just updated the software on my curve 8520 to OS 5 and app world needs to be updated, however the update says it cannot be completed, and when i try to download it via my blackberry browser it says sorry error once i get to the point of selecting my language. Appworld worked fine when i had my old software

  • After ios 7.0.3 cant access app store on ipad mini

    I'm having a couple problems with my ipad mini after upgrading to 7.0.3. First, whenever i go to sleep/wake, or shut off, the screen flickers weird and has a weird box artifact flickering at the bottom of the screen. Second, certain websites don't load properly, speciffically facebook. Last, but most troubling, I can't open the app store. I tried closing the app and reoppening it. I tried rebooting my ipad a couple times, and everytime I open the app store I get a blank screen and a pop up saying "can not connect to app store".

    (A) Reset iPad
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    Note: Data will not be affected.
    (B) Reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
    Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

    I can understand your frustration, i have had my fair share of issues with electronics.
    try a 3 button reset hold power and both vol keys for 20 seconds and try again.
    odd you can surf the internet but cant access app world.
    wonder if maybe a port is blocked at work? but odd it wont work at home.
    You do have 90 free support if you want it from RIM. They helped me with an issue before.
