Cant access camera roll

after picking a picture in camera roll and txting it...I can not access camera roll again because the topof the phone where it says "albums" comes up lower - thereby covering the camera roll. I can see it, since the "album" is see through, but I can not access it. The only way it fixes itself is if I reboot the phone every time.

Seems to be a known bug in the firmware, until it will be solved in a future update, you can also bring up the Multitask bar, tap on the photo app until it shakes and hit the little "minus" icon to close the app. After that it should be working again without having to the reset the device.

Cant access camera roll under ALBUMS

When looking under Albums I see the Camera Roll heading under Album Title Bar in the background but cannot access it. I can only access the few pictures in the Photo Library or other albums. TO get to the camera roll now I must go to the actual camera.
Something has happened. Anyone know how to fix this back to normal?

I had a problem too with iphone 4 and version 4.3. Here is the camera Roll tucks under the title bar. Only solution so far to reboot and easiest one is to kill the running program i.e. Double click on Home button (when unlocked position) > Hold finger on of the running program at the bottom until you see delete icon (red with white line) > then click on this icon to delete/kill the photo album.
But this seems to be right solution. apple has to fix this...Any ideas?

Cant access "camera roll" album after upgrade to 4.3.3

iPhone 3GS, recent update to v 4.3.3 now when I go in to Photos the "Camera Roll" album is hidden under the "Albums" heading at the top of the screen and I can't tap it to open it. Can see and access 3 other albums. Was fine before this upgrade. Any suggestions?

This has happened to a lot of people. Double-click the home button to reveal the recent apps bar. Find the icon for Photos and tap and hold it until it wiggles and tap the red circle to force quit the app. Press the home button once when you are finished. Open the Photo app again and you should be able to access the camera roll.
Hopefully, the next upgrade will fix this.

Why is Whatsapp only able to access camera roll and not other albums?

Seemingly a Whatsapp issue, that you can work around copying your photo in the Photos app then pasting in Whatsapp.

Problems in accessing Camera Roll images using HTML 5 technology

Hello,
I have developed a application using HTML 5 technology. This application is supportable to iPhone 4S. In this application, if we try to upload an image from "Camera Roll" it's not returning properly. The result image is rotated, squeezed and in different format. But this is working perfectly if we upload the image from other folders like Photo Stream.
No idea why the images from Camera Roll is not returning in proper format.

My iPad mini, can only access camera roll photos. When posting on facebook. I can not access shared photos from my apple devices.

problem with iPad mini and iPhone 5c and Facebook app. I can only access camera roll, when posting photos, I can not see shared photos. Which I could before the previous 3 updates. I did speak to Apple support but they said Facebook was behind. i think over 6 months later I still have the same problem!

Cant get Camera Roll or Photo Stream images off my iphone 4. Ive got everything turned on to support the icloud function and my itunes shows syncing, but nothing. Any ideas what Im missing? Thanks A Million!

You can delete them from your phone by opening the album that contains them, tap Edit, tap the photos you want to delete, the tap Delete. You can also import camera roll photos to your computer and delete them after importing as explained in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

Photos App Freezes and Shuts Down When I Try To Access Camera Roll

I am having trouble accessing my photos. Everytime I click onto photos it kicks me out, it does not even show the camera roll. I had my details transferred from my old phone to my iphone 4s, since this has happened, i cannot access my photos. I have tried turning my phone on and off and still nothing.

Lightroom Mobile cannot access Camera Roll

Lightroom Mobile is working fine, with one exception. On the ipad, when I try to add jpgs (not raw) from the Camera Roll it says "Please allow Lightroom to access photos in IOS settings." When I go Settings/Privacy/Photos it says "Apps that have requested access to your photos appear here." No apps are listed. There appears to be no way to cause Lightroom Moobile to be accepted. It appears it has not asked to be accepted.
Any ideas?

I have rebooted the iPad, and deleted and reloaded to Lightroom Mobile app. No luck.
I notice that nearly all other functions do have programs listed that can access them, such as location info or contact info. Only Photos is completely blank of applications. I assume it might be an iPad setting, but I can't find anything.
It's as if Lightroom Mobile never asked for access. Or that Photos are somehow disabled by some other setting. But I can use the Photos app and iPhoto just fine. They can access the photos.
Any other ideas.

PC User / IPHONE Accessing Camera Roll

I am a pc user that has ITUNES and Mobile Me. I have alot of photos on my phone and I always like to save a copy of all photos on my external hard drive. I cannot figure out how to access these photos to save a copy to my external hard drive. Does anyone know how to access these photos?

When you plug your iPhone into the computer, if you have photos in the camera roll, Vista should recognize the iPhone like it would a digital camera and auto play should start the camera and scanner wizard. Also, if you open Computer, you should be able to see the iPhone in the device list.
The scanner and camera wizard will allow you to import the photos to the computer, and from there you can put them anywhere you want.
Keeping a large number of photos in the camera roll is not a good idea. These photos should be imported to the PC as soon as possible so if anything was to happen to the phone, you would not risk losing these photos. Also, large numbers of photos in the camera roll can increase the amount of time necessary for the backup in iTunes, since they are part of the backup. When you want to save pictures to the phone, they should be synced to the photo library through iTunes.

IOS5 problems accessing Camera Roll photo's

Having recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS5 I find that I am now unable to access the photo's taken with the iPhone's camera and stored in the Camera Roll Album. When I go to the Albums page the Camera Roll Album is the top one on the list, but it's covered by an "Albums" headline that also has an "edit" button. The Camera Roll Album underneath can be seen but it cannot be accessed, it will not respond to touch. So how can I take a photo with the iPhone then email it if accessing the Album is blocked. Is there a new setting with iOS 5 that I am missing?

I have not had this in iOS5, but this was a problem in iOS4.
At the teim the fix was to close the camera app, and then close it in the multitasking bar:
double tap home button,
hold the photos app icon till it shows the cross in corner,
tap the cross.
Then restart the photos app.
If that doesn't work you may need to do a full retsore of the iPhone.

Can't access camera roll

I was flipping through my camera roll and then looked at my pictures based on their location. When I clicked on Albums to view them that way , my camera roll album was above the bar that says albums and I cannot access it anymore. How can I fix this? I tried scrolling down but that doesn't work

Bring up the multitask bar, search for the photo app, tap on it until it starts to shake, hit the minus icon to close the app. Return to the home screen and open the photo app again.
Or: Reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.

Trouble accessing Camera Roll in Photos

when i go into Photos, the top option is Camera Roll, but now a heading Albums is over the top of it and I cannot select Camera Roll, any suggestions?

For those of you needing the step by step...
1 - Press the HOME button until you get back to your HOME screen.
2 - Press the HOME button twice, somewhat rapidly.
3 - The home screen should FADE, and rise up to reveal a row of four icons across the bottom. If your PHOTOS are not one of those four, swipe the icons to the left to reveal the next four. Repeat this until you see PHOTOS.
4 - Press and hold PHOTOS for about 2 seconds. All four visible icons will start to wiggle and a red MINUS sign will appear on each one.
5 - Release your hold on PHOTOS, then tap the red minus sign on PHOTOS. This will "close" the photos app.
6 - Press the HOME button twice, somewhat rapidly.
7 - Relaunch your PHOTOS app. Should be fixed.

How do I access "Camera Roll"?

This might seem like a really dumb question, but I am totally stumped. I would like to look at the photos in my iPhone under the heading of "Camera Roll". When I tap on the icon for "Photos", it then opens up all of the photos in my phone. The category at the very top is called "Camera Roll", and that is what I am trying to open. However, "Camera Roll" is so far up that it is actually underneath the heading that says "Albums". I can not tap on "Camera Roll" because it is positioned so high up. The next one down, which is called "Photo Library" is below the header of "Albums", so I am able to tap that and open it. I have tried to swipe it down so that I can tap "Camera Roll", but it just bounces back up to the top where I can't reach it.
Is this crazy or am I crazy? I don't know what to do.

I can't access my photos in camera roll. It just shows blank boxes instead of the images. When I click 'edit', I can see the image but it won't save, email, sms or anything. If I click on a video, it kicks me out back to home screen. Any ideas what to do?

I am having the same thing as well. I click the photos app, I try view the photos I have taken, it just closed out of the photos app and goes straight back to the home screen. There is another way to see the photos you have taken. You click on the camera, then you click on the photos on the bottom left corner, it works for me. I can see all the pictures I have taken.
I've been having problems with my camera, whenever I take a picture (with/without flash) my photos turn out black, was wondering if anyone can help us out about this problem.
