Cant access my #2 display screen right after i installed verson 10

For some reason i cant access my #2  display screen right after i installed verson 10.the cable was checked out ok....please advise.

, Hello and thanks for posting on the HP support forums.  First thing you may want to try is the Windows Update Troubleshooter. If that fails then what you will want to try is rolling back the operating system to the previous operating system until drivers are released for Windows 10 on the HP support site for your system. Thanks again for the post and have a great day.

  • Nokia 6085 Blank Display screen now after start up...

Phone is two months old. Worked fine. Now all of a sudden, for no apparent reason,
the display screen, is lit up, but, blank. Can't get Nokia greeting, nothing. Can call out,
can receive calls, but, can't view screen. Removed battery, for whole night, put back in. Sim card is
    fine...still...blank screen.
Need help...any suggestions., or is the phone just useless now?
Thanks in advance to anyone for your time.
    Very disappointed.

w0nderw0man, the 3-finger reset will not work for S40 phones like yours. It's only for Symbian phones like the N-series, E-series, 5800, etc.
If there's a blank screen, it's best taken care of by a Nokia Care Point.
I would suggest that you get a new phone instead of repairing the 6085, because the repair costs in most cases as much as a new phone of similar or better features. Just my two cents.

  • Black Screen Problem after/durning installing MSI Driver CD (ATI 4780 1 GB)

    Hi,
I've recently purchased a your (MSI) Radeon 4870 1GB video card from Newegg. And I've installed it and I have the latest drivers (from windows) for it. But ever time I try and install the MSI CD on my computer the screen goes black (could possibly freeze but I don't know cause the screen is black) when installing it or upon the restart my computer. Do you have a solution for this problem? I've tried pretty much everything I can think of so far. I have SP2 Vista, I've tried to install it with and without anti-virus on also. I know this is the problem because when I go into safe mode and uninstall it my computer works fine again. I also built this computer a couple of weeks ago too FYI. On another note when the MSI CD is not installed the graphic are spectacular and very game that I've tried works at full setting.

Well if its working very well for you, then don't install from the CD.

  • Blue Screen right after the start up logo

Hi. My first post - I've looked at other blue screen posts on here, but mines I think might be simplier to identify compared to other ones I seen involving flickering off the apple menus etc. (fingers crossed)
Last night I was archiving a lot of mpegs (and other video files archiving through winzip) to save room so that I'd enough room to allow the use of my new Lacie DVD rewriter (as it needs a lot of free space to use) after half an hour of archiving, I decided to watch a DVD instead and was watching on the DVD Player, once I got pretty tired, turned it off via the power instead of actually exiting the DVD player then going to "shut down" (lazyness on my part).....
This afternoon I go to turn on my Mac - I get the "Mac OX" start up with the blue progress bar at the start - no problems there, everything seems to be OK... Then after the Mac start up logo has gone, the whole screen is blue... I can still move around the mouse etc.... I have tried a restart with the command R+P etc... and tried to hold down the "C" button while having the instalation disc in after a restart to use one of the utility check things on the disc but it doesn't seem to even launch the disc.. It just starts as normal with the mac loading logo thing,, then straight onto the blue screen.... I have a lot of CD lists, and a lot of crucial info I need so replacing it isn't really an option although it would be no trouble if I didnt have anything needed on there.. Any help is greatly appreciated

I solved the problem yesterday (well a friend of mine did)
    1) He started up the Mac Mini WITHOUT the install disc in, and as the Mac OX launch screen came up - he inserted the disc then
    2) This allowed the reader to read it at this point (which is more ideal and suited) rather than the start of the power up..
    3) You will hear the reader reading the disc, making noise etc. by then you push the "C" button, and the options came up for picking a language, once I did it went on to the usual utilys on the disc 1 installation disc
    4) Unfortunatly I re-installed the whole lot (whcih took around 20 mins to complete) which earesed all the data
    5) Good thing though was it worked after it, all fresh, and saved me a very high charge of 95.0GBP to fix it, and possibly more for any kind of data retrieval I wished to have saved
ps) it might also work by pushing the "C" without the disc. But the way I was doing it before was that I put the disc in, switched it off, and restarted with having the disc in right away to think it was the more precise way to perform what was needed, however it was not

  • MacBook pro stuck at white screen right after the chime.

Hi, yesterday I partitioned my hard drive and made a different partition titled backtrack 5. I inserted the backtrack live DVD into my MacBook Withe the option at boot and it installed on that exact partition. Then I exited opted Mac sox again. Browsed the web a little. Then a little Netflix. Then I turned it off. Today I am trying to turn it on and well its stuck at the white screen after the boot. No apple logo, no world logo. Nothing. Just a white screen. I tried doing command r, option, shift. Nothing helped and there is still a DVD stuck inside and I can't do anything to eject it. So I don't know what to do. Please help. Please.

To get the stuck cd out of the sick Mac, reboot holding the trackpad button down, this should force a hardware eject.
Next your going to need another Mac on 10.7 with a Superdrive and cd's.
Your going to burn a cd of the EFI firmware, but you MUST know your exact make and model.
    Download it here
    https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237
These are the instructions how to install the EFI firmware
    https://support.apple.com/kb/HT2213
Now what this will do is put the correct firmware into the boot memory, which hopefully should hopefully allow you to command r boot into Recovery.
I don't know if this will write to the EFI parititon or not, replacing the hosed up mess there or not, you'll find out.
If you get into Recovery, your going to need to do this if you don't have a backup of your personal data off the machine.:
Create a data recovery, undelete boot drive

  • Black screen right after Windows Logo screen

All of a sudden the computer just powered down. Then I keep trying to boot it back up but it just gets to a black screen and does nothing. I managed to get to Safe Mode like twice, but then when I try to get to safe mode again it gets stuck loading it. What else can I do to save my laptop OR at least save my data?

    Hello
It will be interesting to know which notebook model you have. I have had similar problem and I have connected HDD to second notebook as external HDD. on this way I was able to copy all important data.

  • Blue screen only after leopard install. HELP!!!!

Here is what I did. I installed Leopard on my MacBook Pro and it booted perfectly. I did the upgrade option so I wouldn't lose my editing and graphics software. I decided to upgrade my Dual 867 MDD, which has a Sonnettech 1.67 processor for mirrored drive door macs. This is where the **** has come in. For the first attempt, I installed the upgrade on the system drive with was only an 80gig drive with 14 gigs left. After I came back in from letting the install go overnight, my computer monitor only showed a blue screen and the mouse arrow. i can move the mouse arrow around which is a good sign. I got frustrated and then took out the 80 gig system drive and replaced it with a carbon copy backup drive of 10.4.11. This replacement drive is a 120gig 7200 rpm PATA drive. I then installed Leopard on that drive, got the success checkmark at the end and rebooted. Again, the blue screen came back with a functional arrow. My only guess is that the low end ATI card (the original that came with the Dual 867's) is somehow flipped or reversed, preventing me from accessing the dock and system functions. I don't know of a keystroke that will flip them. Why would the mouse be functional and nothing else? The card has a HDMI port, albeit one of the older ones that is rounded and not square. At this point, I"m stuck on blue screen with roving mouse.I also could not get the install CD to eject, even when holding the eject key during the restart. I finally got it out. After a third reboot, I got the dreaded error message of death stating to restart. Any suggestions?

where can i get migration assistant? will carbon copy not do? my situation is worse now. i don't know why i forgot to go with archive and install and chose upgrade. life is **** for my g4 now. the new situation is that if i choose archive and install or the clean install option, there is an error message at the end saying the install failed and that there is an error with the disc. I have also seen an error message saying the install failed due to not finding the oxford dictionary something. on top of that, i can't reboot into OS9 because leopord alters or deletes an important extension that the sonnettech processor needs. they sent me the new file and once i overcome these failed install issues i can add that new file. oh well. wonder how vista installs are going?

  • Built-in camera in Cinema Display not recognized after SL Install

Is anyone else having this problem? After installing the Snow Leopard upgrade, my system no longer recognizes the Cinema Display build in camera, not in iChat and not in Photo Booth. Help!

What I've done is create a new admin user account in System Preferences Accounts pane
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/8235.html
after upgrading to Snow Leopard. The new account is using default settings (for Snow Leopard), so it is a good basis for comparison tests. Your issue would be a good use for it.
After creating that new admin user account, log out and log in to the new account. Try the thing that does not work, in the new account. If it works in the new account, the problem is not technically Snow Leopard, but some conflict with something in your existing pre- Snow Leopard user account. It might be some user preference file that you have to trash or some background process that is conflicting, but you can focus troubleshooting on your normal user account as the cause.
If it still does not work in the new account, then the problem is likely to be a bug in the overall system, or a hardware issue.

  • Right arrow & ALT key not working right after clean install of XP Pro

My 3000 N100 stopped booting so I had to reinstall. Had a full license for XP Pro that I wasn't using yet, so decided to do a clean install.
Am still working on getting various things working (e.g., audio), but at the moment the biggest irritations are the following:
    1) My right arrow is disabled completely.
    2) The ALT+TAB combo doesn't work properly. When I do it in Firefox, for example, it does some sort of scrolling down-screen.
Anyway, to isolate the problem, I tried plugging in a USB keyboard. With that keyboard, everything appeared to work fine.
Now, before you tell me that it's just something under the keyboard (which was replaced shortly before the crash, so I doubt that's the problem) keep in mind that the ALT+TAB *does* do something (and not the simply TAB alone), which leads me to suspect the problem lies in how the ALT key and the right arrow key are mapped.
    Any ideas?
Could this be related to a driver that I still need to install? (My device mgr still has a bunch of things with question marks.)
    Thank in advance.

Did you look in the list of campatibility problems windows 8 generated to see if the touchscreen is included.
You did not say whether it came with win 8 and it whether it worked before.
I have a b320 and the touch is not compatible with win 8 and it works for general stuff but won't bring the charm list in from the side nor work in the left corners, nor some of the swipe features.
No drivers for the b320 yet.  Windows set it up with something that kind of functions.
It did come with Windows 8 installed. It also came with CD containing Win8 Driver Pack v1.0. I installed all of the drivers from this CD.
Where would I find this list of compatibility problems that you refer to?
    Thanks!

  • Grey screen lockup after re-install.

I've got an Aluminum PowerBook G4 that just had a hard drive failure. I've purchased a new Samsung drive and installed it with no problems. Next, I booted from my OS X 10.3 install disks and partitioned the drive. The install went smooth with no errors of any kind. After the reboot at the end of the install I get to the gray apple screen and the wheel spins for about 20 seconds and then locks up completely. I then ran disk utility to verify the disk and permissions with no errors to be corrected. I've also cleared the PRAM a few times with no success. Anybody out there got any suggestions?

    Hello Again pegasusroscoe!
As you previously had Jaguar 10.2.x installed, was this an Upgrade installation to Panther 10.3.x?
To install, did you use a Full Retail Version, of the Panther Install CDs?
The discs should look exactly like the images in the above links, and not say Upgrade, CPU Drop-in DVD, or "This software is part of a hardware bundle purchase - not to be sold seperately." on them.
If you did not use those type of discs, that may explain why the install was unsuccessful.
