  • Pls help - i cant access nokia messaging nokia 630...

Hello there i have been trying everything to get nokia messaging on my mobile phone (nokia 6303) but i just cant seem to download it. It says it is pre-installed on the device but its not and i cant even down load it from the ovi store because it doesnt show up :s I live in england where the phone was purchased (Argos)
    Any ideas?

Have you got the 6303 or 6303i. The 6303i has Nokia Messaging built in I think.
If it's the 6303i you won't see an app called Nokia Messaging on the phone though, you just go to the Email and set up an email account. If it's compatible with NM then it will use the NM service.
Otherwise, I'm not sure you can get Nokia Messaging as a download for S40 phones. Though you could try updating the firmware and see if it adds it.

  • I cant access purchased music in my library. Help!

So a couple days ago I went on iTunes on Windows (both are up to date) and bought about $40 worth of music using a gift card. While I was downloading a handful of songs, a pop up appeared that said iTunes has stopped working and automatically shut down. I had assumed the music downloaded and didn't think anything of it, and today when I go to look for a specific song I just bought, I couldn't find it. So I went to the purchased section in "Playlists" and it wasn't there either. I clicked "Check for available downloads" and still nothing. I went to my account purchase history and I can see that the songs were purchased (see the picture) and I was charged, but I can not access any of them.  None of the songs in this purchase made it through except "see you again". I really don't want to lose the money, can anyone help? Am I screwed?

Try different earphones, listen to your iPod without plugged earphones and test the volume it should play
normally if you can't hear only those earphones than sometimes plug can be a problem or symply abandon those
earphones and use some that work.

  • Cant access my music! HELP!!!

I have an iPhone 4S and I had to get a replacement due to the volume bar issue. At the store they restored my phone to my ocloud backup, but upon looking into my music folder, its all grayed out and I cannot play any of the music(its all present in the folders). I was told to add them thru itunes on my computer, but the issue is, that laptop is no longer working. I even retrieved the hard drive from the old computer, but it is not retrieving all of the music to my new computer. Is there anyway to get my music back on my device without the old computer?

Apps and ibooks you should be able to re-download for free, assuming that they are still available in the store and you use the same iTunes account that you originally used to buy/download them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Music bought from iTunes can only currently be re-downloaded if you are in the US, and I assume that you are in Carlisle here in England in which case you won't be able to re-download music.
Have you still got the purchases on your computer, or on a backup that you can copy back onto the computer and then load into iTunes ?

  • Updated to io5 and cant access my music

i updated to IOS 5 and my music is on my ipod but when i go to the music icon it acts like theres no music on it

I had something odd happen, it knew where my Media was, but at some point it "forgot" that it was on an alternate (data, non boot drive) and moved everything around. then I had to move it back.
Only way I knew was iPod went from using 8GB for audio and then was down to one song.
Luckily it is working, other is 0.3G so that is fine.
NY Times app is still AWOL and I've come to accept it is NYTimes and not me!!
I did have to erase and restore and 5.0 seems to be fine, but did lose 100 contacts (still trying to recover those I had added) and a lot of work with settings. Have not looked to see if my Camera section of photos is there or can be reloaded. And I'll miss those the most.

  • Cant access purchased music associated with an closed email and forgotten password

Long ago, my first purchases on iTunes were using an aol email address for my iTunes account.  I ended up opening a mac.com email as soon as it was available and shortly thereafter, closed the aol account.  The iTunes purchases on the aol email address account are unaccessible now.  I have no idea what my old password for the aol acct was, and when I try to reset it, using the aol email, security question,  and my birthdate.  Security question was the correct answer, but it won't take my birthdate--says its not a birthdate associated with the aol address. I checked to make sure it was not my error.  No clue what to try next.  Any ideas?

Perhaps iTunes Store Support could help you:
    https://expresslane.apple.com/Issues.action
... but the key to success will very likely be to figure out that password.  Then you would be able to authorize that account in iTunes.

  • Want to deactivate nokia music unlimited subscript...

Hi,I have got my Nokia lumia 610 but whenever I try to download any song from Nokia music there is a popoup which says that U R already subscribed to Nokia music unlimited pack and thus it doesn't allows me download any of the songs from Nokia music.....so I want to deactivate Nokia unlimited music subscription pack .....please help me out

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forum!
Is your phone purchased second hand? If yes, Nokia Music Unlimited (NMU) licenses are activated by signing in with a Nokia Account. If the same Nokia Account is used to activate a second or third device, the NMU licenses are accumulated on that account. It's only the most recently activated device can be used to access Nokia Music and download music for free. You will be able to play already downloaded music on previously registered devices.
Therefore, if the device is bought second hand, and the license is still in use by the first owner, the second owner is not entitled to the Nokia Music license.
Otherwise, can you check the following question:
Aside from you, someone else logged in and activated the license before you purchased your phone first hand,
Or did you allow someone else to log in with your Nokia account on your device?

  • Accessing older music in itunes library

    Simple. Go here -> https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid

Authorize your computer for the old AppleID.
FYI: If you later get a new email address, don't create a new AppleID.
Just update your current AppleID with new info. See this -> Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
Then you won't have to worry about having "old" accounts.

  • Nokia Music purchase/download problem

    Guys
Need some help as scratching my head over this
Just purchased a track via music.nokia.com via my mobile as had password problems via my desktop
I've tried to purchase a track via my mobile but it said payment failed so re-added my c/card details to payment options again in case first one I typed in was wrong and attempted payment again - payment failed a second time
Just checked by c/card statement and the 2 purchases have gone through
Ok, so I log back into my music.nokia.com account via desktop to check my purchase history and its says there is none!!!
So basically I need to problems addressing - double payment and the fact that I am unable to download the 1 track I've paid twice for.
Anyone any ideas or can point me in the right direction to get this sorted out?
I've got the Lumia 820 with amber o/s btw
    cheers in advance

    Hi sairaj318
Thank you for posting and welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
Nokia Music Unlimited licenses are activated by signing in with a Nokia Account,  and once activated personal to the Nokia Account holder. If the same Nokia Account is used to activate a second or third device, the Nokia Music Unlimited licenses are accumulated on that account and only the most recently activated device can be used to access Nokia Music and download music for free. You will be able to play already downloaded music on previously registered devices.
Therefore, if the device is bought second hand, and the license is still in use by the first owner the second owner is not entitled to the Nokia Music license.

  • Using Nokia Music in another country, i.e. Music S...

    Hello Nokia,
I am currently using Nokia Lumia 920 that I bought from UAE and now using in India. My Nokia ccount is set to India and my phone region is also India. Unfortunately, for me, I could not access Nokia Music Store and Mix Radio etc. services. When I launch the app, these options show for a while and then disappear. I know it's because I am accessing it in another country. I don't want to know why it is impossible for a user to access the Music Store in another country, rather I want Nokia to come up with a solution for people who buy their phones from another region (for various reasons) and then use it somewhere else. I don't have a Nokia Music Unlimited subscription, I just want to browse Music from the Store and buy it if I like. Further, I want Nokia Mix Radio. Please, fix this thing. I am leaving my country for my studies, so I'll be in a different region for the next few years. Does this mean I have to buy a new phone whenever I move? This is just impossible. I hope I get some positive response on this. Please don't give me links to other similar posts, I have read them all and they're of no help.
    Thanks.
    Nokia Lumia 920

Think you already got a satisfactory explanation in another thread (not posting the link) as your post there-in suggests. This being a Peer-to-Peer Forum there is nothing more that you can get here officially from Nokia. You need to use any channel thru' THIS link to get an Official response from Nokia .

  • I have a Power Book OS 10.4.11 and cant access my radio library.  I believe I deleted something I should not have. How do I reload Itunes and will I loose my music I loaded?

I have a Power Book OS 10.4.11 and cant access my radio library.  I believe I deleted something I should not have. How do I reload Itunes and will I loose my music I loaded?  I do not have the original software.  I was trying to free up some memory and removed the wrong thing.

If you mean the listing of internet streams that seems to have disappeared for many users of older iTunes versions over week ago. Probably some update at Apple broke older versions.  No idea if it will ever come back but you can open stream URLs you find on the web and save them in playlists.

  • I cant access any of the content that was in my music library that was set up on my old destroyed laptop. so Home Share cant be used.  Is there a way to pull all of the music content, not just iTune purchased music from my 4th Gen Nano back into iTuunes?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one - way - computer to ipod.  The only exception is itunes purchases.
