Cant add account manager from myverizon  keeps throwing error message

did everything but go into the store. Im 9 months pregnant on bed rest and my verizon gives me an error when i try to add account manager. Called  922 0204  and customer service says its now verizon policy that you cant add anyone to your account until after 30 days   ive added and removed people before on the same day Talked to supervisor he said its a my verizon problem and that the ppl that are supposed to work on it arent in right now So shouldnt they have a way to bypass this??  what is up with this new rule?? Anyone else getting this same error??

   I originally had wireless service with Alltell and I was very concerned when Verizon purchased Alltell ( I had numerous bad experiences with Verizon customer service when I had their FIOS cable service).  For years now that Verizon took over for Alltell I have not had any issues and I believe it was because I did not have to contact customer service.   Now in December I purchased three new phones and my daugther wanted to change her work number to one of the numbers I had on my service.  You would have thought we were trying to pattern a new cure for cancer.  We had to spend hours on the phone with customer service trying to accoumplish a very easy task and each time my daugther tried to deal with these people they all complained because she was not an account manager. 
For the last wo weeks I have tried to add my daughter thru the website.  Each time I got an error message stating that I needed to call 611 to get this corrected.   Tonight we called 611  and I got the same run around with customer service for the last 45 minutes, but they told me that I had to wait 60 days since we had purchased  new phones.   They also told me that we could go to a Verizon store location and this could be accomplished at the store.  I have already spent more time with customer service than any live person should and I certainly do not want to have to make another trip to a Verizon store.  It is utterly amazing how Verizon can take such simple tasks and turn them into a Federal case.  This waste hours of your time and also the time spent by their employees,  and you don't get anything accomplished.  They must be getting so many complaints that now there is no place on their website where you can write a complaint.

    I assume you mean C510 not C150.  For those who are experiencing ongoing issues with their web services, you can attempt to try the following steps that may help resolve your problems.
    1.) Completely shut down your printer and restart it
    2.) If you have prints that have not printed, log into ePrint Center (or create an account if you do not have one) and then look for your printer status. If printer status is green but you still have pending jobs, delete the pending jobs one at a time (Starting with the oldest first). There may be a print job stuck in the queue that further restricts other jobs from completing.
    a. If option 1 or 2 above still doesn’t work, removing web services and re-adding web services will cause the printer to reattach to the cloud.
    b. Please note that if you attempt option 3, you will get a new eprint email address (and lose your custom one with no ability to get it back) furthermore, you will need to re-add your printer back to your ePC account.

    Solved it shortly afterwards thanks as I realised it must have happened when I refreshed Firefox, so went through the process again and found the boxes for tabs already pre-ticked so cancelled them. Would have been a lot easier though had it been left as an option to tick as I assumed it was another safeguard leaving me with no idea what had happened....

  • Plug-in page tells me all plug-ins are up to date, but I keep getting error messages from Firefox telling me they are not and are unstable

    I keep getting error messages stating that my Adobe Flash is out of date and vulnerable. I go to the Add-ons Manager, click "update" and it takes me to the plug-in page which shows it's up to date!! Same with Java DT and Shockwave Flash. How can I update if I have the latest versions already!?! I am inclined to just allow the plug-ins to work but don't want my pc to become vulnerable. Please help!

    hello Danagriz, unfortunately the plugin check page lags behind. adobe has released a critical patch for a vulnerability in its flash plugin, which is reportedly already exploited in the wild. therefore firefox will block insecure versions from running by default on websites for your protection.

    If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.1.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

    Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
    After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
    If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
    After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
    From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
    After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
    After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.

    I have been running an Xserve G4 with Mac OS X Server 10.3.9 as a mail server and web server for several years now with no problems. Recently, however, I tried to set up a mailing list, which I had never done before. When I tried doing this, OS X automatically created a mailing list called "Mailman" for me, in addition to the mailing list I created.
    Now I keep getting error messages sent by "Cron Daemon <[email protected]>" to that "Mailman" mailing list. The error messages are sent to the mailing list and I get them as a subscriber to the list. They read:

    I did some research on the OS X Server support pages and discussion forums and couldn't find any references to such a problem.
    With a worldwide search with Google, I only found very obscure stuff about Python, which I know nothing about.
    The mailing lists appear to be working fine other than that (and the fact that Mailman uses "www.mydomain.com" instead of just "mydomain.com").
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    In other words, the error message is still coming, but now it's being sent by "[email protected]" and since this is not a subscriber to the list, I get the admin notice requiring approval. (It's in French because I am using mailman's French-language option, but you should get the gist of it .)
    I still do not know:
    1) what causes this message and what it means
    2) why it's coming from "[email protected]" rather than "[email protected]".
    Like I said, I changed the "host_name" option from "www.mydomain.com" to "mydomain.com" in both mailing lists I have, but obviously there is still some part of Mailman that thinks it should be using "www.mydomain.com".
    I am afraid I still don't know what to do about this.
    FWIW, I ran the check_perms command you gave me this morning and it did find 10 problems and corrected them. I don't know yet if this will help with this particular problem.

    and non at the front page ?
    iDVD do not copy Your material - only points to where it is stored. So if on any external hard disks, USB-memories, CDs or DVDs are missing - assetts are broken.
    Or if You changed location of any material or directed iPhoto or iTunes or GarageBand to a new Library - Then iMovie/iDVD also get's lost.
