Cant add Competitors on Mobile Phone App CRM 2015

I'm currently configuring the mobile phone app for CRM 2015 online.
The issue i'm having is that i cant seem to add competitors, either directly or to an existing Lead or Opportunity. Although the entity appears in the lead and opportunity records, it only shows already added competitors (which were added via the browser
or tablet app). I don't seem to have the option to add new competitors within the mobile phone app as the little "+" symbol at the top of the form is not present.
I have the competitors entity enabled for the mobile phone app and tablet app. the tablet app works fine.
I've also noticed that competitors entity appears on the tablet home page navigation but not on the mobile home page.
Any suggestions?

Extract Mobile Phone for CRM Business Partner

Hi Experts
I would like to extract the mobile phone number for a business partner from CRM. Transaction BP shows the number in the address tab, communication area together with the telephone number and the fax number.
The business content DataSource 0BP_DEF_ADDRESS_ATTR delivers only the telephone number and the fax number. Does anyone know of a DataSource that also delivers the mobile phone? Otherwise, in which table is the mobile phone number stored?

I'm currently attempting to extend the 0BP_DEF_ADDRESS_ATTR for the same reason, and sending support call to SAP to see if standard extractor can be updated to include mobile number.
Can you give more detail on how you extended?
We have appended a field to the extract structure & are now trying to fill it from ADR2 where r3_user = 3
In particular a copy of any code you added to EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 would be helpful.

Replacing the Tungsten W Mobile Phone App

Just got a Palm Tungsten W and it does what is is billed to do as well as eliminate carrying both a PDA and a cell phone.
However, the Mobile Phone application leaves a bit to be desired and thus my question,
Can a fully functional mobile phone application be written and tested using the latest J2ME components or should I just use the "C" support provided by Palm?

maybe c is a better choice..
it depends on what kind of aplication you're going to develop...
but it'll be more effecently in speed than java app...
...but your application will run only on your palm!! =)

Mobile Phone App and Azure MFA Server

I currently have directory sync enabled between my on-premise AD environment and Azure Active Directory, and also enabled multi-factor authentication on my profile. I installed PhoneFactor on my mobile device and am able to use it to verify my identity when
logging into my O365 OWA account.
I recently installed and configured the Multi-Factor Authentication Server to enable RADIUS requests for VPN connections, and have successfully tested MFA using the phone call method (when I connect via VPN client, I provide credentials, and receive a call
to verify my identity, press # and connection is accepted).
What am having trouble doing is using the mobile app as a method for verification. When I try to connect, I immediately receive 'Login Failed,' and there are no indications in PhoneFactor for an authentication request.
In the MFA Server logs, I see two entries:
No device configured for user '[email protected]'
PfAuth failed for user '[email protected]'. Call status: SKIPPED_USER_INCOMPLETE - "User lacks information required for phone auth".
I have read guidelines on creating a user portal within my network for self-registration, but I was hoping I could just use the Azure-provided portal.
Anyone have any ideas why this may be happening?

At present, the MFA Server user enrollment is completely separate from Azure AD. If you want to use the mobile app with the MFA Server, you need to install the User Portal so that users can generate activation codes and set their MFA method to mobile app.
Also, for users to activate their mobile apps, you have to install the Mobile App Web Service, which communicates with the MFA Server via the Web Service SDK to validate the activation code generated in the User Portal. Here are links for installing the User

Ios 7.1 iphone4s update means i cant add music to my phone!

Since updating to ios 7.1 i can no longer add music to my iphone.
I plug it in and it starts syncing then gets stuck on step 5 - waiting for changes to be applied (even though there are none)
when i try to drag and drop music by going on phone - add to.. etc nothing happens. sometiomes they appear but greyed outr as if they are waiting to transfer onto the phone but nothing happens. This is really starting to annoy the heck out of me. i did have a similar problem a couple of weeks ago and must've restored my phone to a previous version. then i downloaded the ios 7.1 update again by mistake...

I believe that iOS 7 requires iTunes 11. You may need to update your iTunes file.

Cant add jabber account to messages app

Hi,
When I try to add a new account to Messages the only option for an account is yahoo. My other machines allow jabber, aim etc but the only option i get on this machine is yahoo.
Perhaps the preferences have gone awal I have tried deleting them in the library to no avail.

First, make sure that Parental Controls are not enabled for the account. If not, continue.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Changed computers...cant add music to i phone now

.... basically set my iphone 4 up on a friends computer, now i have a new one myself which i sync my phone on and save contacts etc but...how do i make it possible to manage my itunes songs from my new computer to the phone, i was told the iphone only allows music syncing from the original computer??

It only allows syncing from one computer AT A TIME.
Plug it into your computer and sync it.
It will erase the content from the iphone and replace it with content from your computer.
If you enter at least one uniques contact/calendar entry in your computer, then you should get the option to merge when you first sync.

SAP CRM Groupware Integration - Create appointments on mobile phone.

Hi all
We have implemented the serverside groupware integration with CRM 2007 and Exchange.
Usually the appointments in Outlook are created with category
"CRM_ACT_001". Unfortunately some Mobile Phones (like the iPhone) are not
able to set the category of an appointment.
Our users usually create their Outlook appointments on their mobile.
So we had to customize the GWAdapter to let through all activities from
groupware (without filtering for the category).
To do so we changed the spro entry "Maintain Groupware Object Selectionand Retrieval":
- From: ACT Categories CRM_ACT*
- To: ACT Categories *
Unfortunately this causes a lot of problems:
- The category of the activity in CRM got deleted everytime you change the appointment in outlook.
- When you set a meeting in Outlook to "private" the activities in
CRM AND Outlook are deleted automatically.
Does anyone had similar problems? How can you synchronize the calender on the mobile phone with CRM?

Checked the issue with SAP.
You cannot synchronize the appointments without giving an category. On iphone and most other smartphones you cannot chose a category.

Only if you were to measure the physical dimentions. (Using physical dimentions and changing the ppi would add or remove pixels)

A 1200 x 1600 pixel image will be the same on all devices that share that ratio, the ppi difference comes into play when the phyical size of the screen is changed.
Technically the quality never changed only the zoom changed.
When designing a screen at 1200x1600 (example) That image will fit on any screen that has that spec.
The ratio plays a role when only 1 of the 2 pixel dimentions changes (width or the height).
On larger screens, the ppi is lower to equal the same number of pixels. So when a device can support a higher resolution, the ppi is increased on the same size screen.
Knowing that, having the specs of the device will tell you the maximum number of pixels that screen can display.
Therefore, when designing a screen, always start with the largest resolution (pixel dimmentions) first, then downsample to the next size screen and so on.
The reason is simple, it is easier to remove pixels, then it is to add them later, as photoshop or any other software does not know what should be there.
BTW, this is also the reason why you can change the pixel dimentions in the save for web dialog box and not the physical size or ppi. To make it easy to reduce the pixel dimentions.

Go to http://www.icloud.com in your computer's internet browser. Sign in, go to Find My iPhone, locate your device there.

Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Sign in to your Apple ID with FaceTime and iMessage.
If your phone number is still not listed, follow these steps:

I'd like to know what could be my bug because I don't understand why I can access from the URL,

I'm not knowledgeable with chmod under Linux, let's say if we give it full accessibility, what will be the result?
Anyway if you can see the image from file system, that already means the upload is succeed, I think you may need get some suggestion from php side to see how can we save the image with a correct permission.

Where do you find the "add a device" option in firefox 4.0 so that you can sync your mobile phone to your desktop?

Maybe I am missing something here, but I don't see a toolbar like that on my 4.0 version. I had already seen the help information. Thanks. I thought perhaps those were the directions for version 3.0? Am I missing a toolbar?
