Cant add specific photo folders to iphone

Hello,
when I plug up my iphone to itunes and select photos, the only option it gives me is to sync with the entire "pictures" folder. It wont allow to select specific folders i have within "my pictures". It says i can sync my iphone with every picture i have and the ones i already have on my iphone will be deleted. I dont have the newest version of iphones software so that may be it, i dont know. could anyone help, please?

Make sure you have at least iTunes 7.1.1 or later.
Now when iPhone is connected. In the Summary screen look for a tab called Photos.
Once there. There will be a gray box. Does it show any names of folders at all?
Make sure you select the third circle that says Selected Albums. Then put a check mark in each album you want to sync.
Keep min mind each folder inside Pictures - Should be 1 folder with pictures in it
So example
Main Folder - Sub Folder - Pictures
Not
Mail Folder - Sub Folder - Pictures - More Subfolders - Pictures
Keep it clean and simple and it will be easier to organize

Does anyone know why one cannot add playlists to folders in iphone 5. When I drag a playlist to a folder on my "Devices" on my iMac in itunes 10 it does not show up on my phone after it syncs. When I did my orig sync to my iPhone (just learning), I created an iPhone sync folder in iTunes, as directed. When I synced, it created 2 folders (1 iPhone and 1 Photo Library) with identical photos. How do I get rid of one, and why can't I manage these like any other old external device? Also, but slightly unrelated, I got Mobile DropCopy and haven't a clue how to create a doc's folder on the iPhone. I'm resigned to Apple ruling my music world, but why does other doc mgmt have to be so convoluted? <Edited by Moderator>

You can't, and don't need to. There's only one copy of each photo. Pics on the iPhone are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library. Albums are basically links to that library. If you have multiple albums (folders), the Photo Library is the 'sum' of all of them. If you have only one folder of pics, it's the same as the Library.

Cant add or delete songs from iphone

I had to reinstall windows and itunes and now my phone syncs but I cant add or delete music. Any suggestions?

Some things to check:
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize This Computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings

Photo Folders on iPhone and iCloud

Hello,
I have my photos on my PC arranged by years in folders and sub-folders and I want to have them on my phone the exact same way AND have them saved to iCloud. I spoke to tech support and they say this cant be done. I would like to know if I can email or contact someone from Apple to add this feature.
If I DO NOT have iCloud Photo Library (Beta) or My Photo Stream checked I can then use iTunes to copy the folders exactly as they are on my PC to the iPhone but with this method I cannot save them to iCloud (unless someone has found a way)
I guess I am wanting them in iCloud so they will synch across my devices, otherwise I have to connect each devic
If I check iCloud Photo Library or My Photo Stream all the photos in the individual folders disappear and the go to to SINGLE photo file and its just to hard to
find photos searching through my thousands of photos

They will or will not integrate it depending on their decision.
Please on my behalf also submit that I would like my next phone to fly me to work, my toyota is getting old.

Cannot sync iphoto folders after upgrading to mavericks. syncing caused removal of all photo folders from iPhone

After upgrading 17" macbook pro/late 2009 to mavericks - runs slow and having syncing issues. syncs freeze then quit. folders were removed from devices without my setting that up. will not add. all devices are NOT on OS7. Is this why??

You and me both! I thought my error (Unknown error (-50) popped up when I thought I'd try out MobileMe, (which, as an aside screwed a LOT of things up). Now I have no idea. I started getting duplicate bookmarks in Safari, and email from all over, and then my photos will no longer sync from iPhoto. I've never had this problem, had my MacBook Pro for three years, my iMac almost a year, iPhone for 2+. APPLE!!! ARE YOU LISTENING??????

Help needed on multi-level photo folders on iPhone

In trying to figure out how to create sub-folders for photographs on an iPhone, the bottom line seems to be that it's not possible. You can synce to ONE folder on a PC, and that folder can contain many folders, which will appear on the iPhone, but you can't have sub-sub folders - you can only have two levels, the main folder, and a set of nested folders within it.
I've read in three or four places that multi-level folders are possible is you use either of two programs, "Aperture" or "Photoshop Elements".
Question #1 - is this true? Will they allow me to create sub-folders on my iPhone?
Question #2 - is there a web page that explains how this is done?
I've given up on doing this on my own, as it just doesn't work, but maybe there's something else that I allows this to work if you buy one of those two programs?

Surendra , an ODS should have a Key field and not necessarily a Key figure however to create a cube / multiprovider , it is a must that you have a key fiugure , which leads me to ask the following questions:
1. Why do you need a multiprovider on an ODS with no facts(key figure)?
2. Why not an Infoset?
If this is for experimentation alone , trhe answer is clear,
A multiprovider cannot be created without a key figure , this goes against the very concepts of Data Warehousing and think if your architecture is correct and why you need a multiprovider and a multiprovider alone will satisfy your requirements.

I just upgraded to OS 10.8.1 and now iphoto cant see the photos on my iphone. i can't download them to my laptop at all. not what i had hoped for from an upgraded OS. any suggestions? thanks, Carrie

just upgraded to OSX 10.8.1 on my 2008 macbook pro, and now when i sync my phone i cannot download photos to iphoto.
can't pull them in using image capture either.
changed my sync settings but that just tried to pull all my iphoto images onto my phone, which was not what i wanted either.
the old OS worked fine for this function but 10.8.1 not so much.
how to fix? need to be able to pull the photos off the phone, and need to be able to NOT pull all iphoto ONto the phone at each sync.

I opened the iPod with iFunBox.
Can find no relevant documents other than the single image in the 9th of 9 Cameras.
The other 8 Cameras appear empty.
Am now trying an iCloud sync which appears to be showing the images.

I just replicated it. If I accidently pull down notification center (or on purpose), it will no longer be possible to stop the alarm through normal means. If you cannot pull down the notification center while the alarm is sounding, your phone is set up differently.
My alarm and notification center are set to default settings.
I did discover that toggling the vibrate switch will turn it off but I’ve never noticed that feature before. So at least, there’s a workaround. I doubt this is the intended behavior, however.

The iPhone does not support disk mode.
If you use iPhoto on your Mac for photo storage and management, you can create an iPhoto album or albums for selected photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, select sync photos from iPhoto. Choose selected albums and select the iPhoto albums in the window below followed by a sync. The named iPhoto albums will be transferred to your iPhone with the order of the photos in the iPhoto albums retained.
If you want to remove an album of photos, deselect the album under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync. To remove select photos, remove the photos from the iPhoto album in iPhoto that you've selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync.
To add additional photos to your iPhone, add the photos to an iPhoto album in iPhoto that you've selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync, or create a new iPhoto album for the photos, select the new album under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync.
Photos transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process are optimized for viewing on your iPhone as part of the iTunes sync process.

If you manually manage photos on your computer by creating folders, etc., create a parent folder which will be selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences.
Place named folders that contain photos only within the parent folder. The parent folder will include named folder that contain photos only.
Select the parent folder under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync. The named folders within the parent folder will be transferred to your iPhone as separate photo albums.
If you want to remove a photo from an album, remove the photo from the named folder within the parent folder on your computer followed by a sync. If you want to add more photos to your iPhone, you can place the photos in the existing named folders within the parent folder, or create an additional named folder within the parent folder that will contain the photos followed by a sync.

Hi I have recently upgraded my iphone 4 to the new iTunes 10 & 3.1 firmware for iphone & Im going crazy coz i cant sync any photos to my iphone 4 yet on the bar it shows that i have 3 .6gig on my iphone of photos BUTI havnt,Ive got 36 photos in the cameraroll on iphone .
Ive done a hard reboot on my iphone & ive also done a restore in iTunes but I still cant sync any photo's.Also at the end of the sync Im getting a pop-up box with a big red EXCLAMATION mark with a little itunes icon attached saying I couldnt sync becoz cannot find my IPHONE 4 file & also ive noticed a REVERT button above the sync button & I have no idea what that means.
The iphone was synching fine before I upgraded & when i did a restore ,i did a backup before then restored it to the backup,Can anyone help me workout what is wrong ? I would be so very greatful as im stuck as to what has happened & all was ok until i upgraded but now its not good at all.

What photos?
Photos synced to iphone from your computer are synced one way only. computer to iphone.
Photos taken with iphone are not part of the sync process. They should be imported regularly as you would with any digital camera

How do i add more than 1 folder of photos to my iphone please?!
