Cant attach multiple files in mail

How to attach multiple files in mail??

Hey demo..
When I create a document in 'Pages' app I can mail that file from 'Pages' app. But I cant attach multiple .doc file in one mail. For sending multiple files in a single mail I need to do several mails. Is there any system or 3rd party software through which I can attach multiple .doc files in one mail.
Thanks in advance.

  • Attaching photos to Apple Mail - error when attaching multiple files

    Hello,
My iPhoto just recently started giving me an error whenever I try to attach multiple files to Apple Mail. The error says:
"Mail got an error: Can't get paragraph 8 of
content of outgoing message id 321072192.
    Invalid index."
The only option allowed is to cancel. When I look at my Apple Mail it has created a message with the first selected photo attached, but none of the other photos are there. Any ideas of how to correct this? Is this an email client issue?
    Thanks!

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
This is a problem between iPhoto 4 and 10.5.
The workaround is to use the Photo Browser on the new Message Window in Mail, just drag the pic over from there:

  • Mii attach multiple files in one e-mail

    Hello everyone
    This is Yuko.
There are two MII may have a problem with email attachments.
    1. Once you attach multiple files in one e-mail
    Please tell me how this
    2. Can not be above 1, and compiled into a single ZIP file.
Now, I can attach multiple files in one e-mail,
When you extract the ZIP, just made away with the file directory path is created,
you can not open the attachment and open the folder several times.
Anyone know a solution to this problem, please tell me.

    Kevin, Thanks for answers.
    My English is poor. Sorry.
Your answer is, we assume that the permit issue, and probably would not matter. Again, write the points in need.
For example, the two CSV when put together in one ZIP file, the workbench in the CSV file to specify the full path. CSV file, the workbench under the Web folder and then five in the second tier. At this time, who received an email with this attachment is to open the attachments, ZIP and open the file, open the following folder hierarchy, the next ..., and, many times to open the folder , will finally open a CSV file. Many times without opening the folder you want to open a CSV file.
    We look forward advice.

  • Cant attach zipped file

With the guidence of Matt Broughton, my project is screeds ahead of where it was yesterday, but!, as thier always is, ive got one last snag,
File zips up great, but I cant figure how to select it to attach to my mail.
Can select the origional file but all combinations ive tried result in the zipped file not attaching to the out going mail. Ive left the script.
    Any help appreciated.
    --ZIP ME UP--
    on clicked theObject
if name of theObject is "zip" then
set fileChoice to choose file without invisibles
set fileChoice2 to quoted form of POSIX path of ¬
    fileChoice as string
set zipFile to (fileChoice & ".zip") as string
set zipFile to quoted form of POSIX path of ¬
    zipFile as string
    do shell script ¬
    "/usr/bin/ditto -c -k -rsrc " & fileChoice2 & " " & zipFile
    end if
    --ATTACH ZIPPED FILE TO MAIL--
    set theAttachments to (fileChoice)
    tell application "Mail"
    activate
    set newMessage to make new outgoing message with properties {content:return & "Attachment: " & return}
    tell newMessage
    set visible to true
    tell content
if ((count of item of theAttachments) > 0) then
    repeat with theAttachment in theAttachments
make new attachment with properties {file name:((theAttachment as text) as alias)} at after the last paragraph
    end repeat
    end if
    end tell
    end tell
    end tell
    end clicked
    Budgie

    Budgie,
    I missed the curly brackets.
    It should be: set theAttachments to {(fileChoice & ".zip") as string}
    repeat with theAttachment in theAttachments
make new attachment with properties {file name:((theAttachment as text) as >alias)} at after the last paragraph
The reason for that is theAttachments need to be a list, without the curly bracets theAttachments is a string.
    repeat with theAttachment in theAttachments
Therefore, theAttachment (in theAttachments) is/are letters in theAttachments. The file you select started with M.

  • Ipad 4: how do I attach multiple file types to an email?

    Hello,
I have seen multiple threads on this topic saying you can only do attachments in an email (other than photos or videos) by going to the app that holds the file and emailing it from there (ex: go to adobe reader or ibooks to email a PDF). This work around seemed sufficient for some people but I have need to attach a JPG, PDF and .doc to a single email. How do I do this within the ipad's built in email app? Is this impossible and if so are there other free email apps that someone can reccmmend?
I find the ability to only email files from within its parent app to be cumbersome and not in keeping with Apple's style of making one's life easier and more efficient. In fact this seems woefully backward and goes back to the early days of computing. I get it that emailing from within a particular app is necessary but so is the ability to attach multiple file types from within the email app. :-(
    So frustrated!!

The GoodReader App can manage files and create emails consisting of multiple files types.

  • Attach multiple files to a List Item in SharePoint 2013

    Hi Guys,
I have a customer that want to attach multiple files to single list item in a dialog box. like Datasheet View, if we set up a Datasheet View and click on the Attachment cell, it opens a dialog box that allow to select and attach multiple files as one operation.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
As we know, if we want to attach multiple files, it only allow me to attach one file at a time, then repeat this process for every other file.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to upload multiple files in SharePoint list.
There is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint.
You can refer to the following articles to achieve it programmatically.

  • Attaching eps files in mail

My mail gets hung up when I attach eps files in mail. First I can't actually see the file, then I have to force quit mail.

I tried it on my machine. Same problem.  I think the mac is trying to display the file and not having any luck somehow. Anyway, it's a bug.

Besides the zip workaround, one can also convert the file to PDF, then attach it. To convert it to PDF, open it in Preview, then export it.

  • Unable to attach multiple files to an email in Safari using Macbook Pro 2011

Is anyone else having this issue?  Safari won't let me select multiple files to attach to an email.  I can attach more than one file, but I have to attach them one at a time.  Is there a setting I need to change or something??

I am having exactly the same issue as debsdesign.  The email I am using is yahoo.  I've tried both Safari and Firefox and it makes no difference.  I am using Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.
So to reiterate the problem - I want to attach multiple files at once to an email message I want to send.  I have tried to do the following:
    1. Select 'Attach file" in my email message
    2. In 'Finder' I have found a list of files I want to attach
    3. I can only select one file at a time and "choose" them individually - I have 16 files.  I have tried holding down the SHIFT key and selecting the last file in the list.  I have also tried holding down the COMMAND key and selecting each file in turn.  Nothing works!
Is there a way to do this on a Mac??
    Many thanks

  • Everytime I attach a file in Mail, Opera Browser takes over...

Everytime I try to attach a file using Mail, Opera browser wants me to accept user agreement about 20-25 consecutive times before i can even select the file i want to attach.  It also opens firefox and chrome as if i were trying to install them.  Any ideas why this is happening?  More importantly, anyway to stop this annoyance!?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Unless the OSX install disks had 10.5.7, you need to download the Combo Update for 10.5.7, and install it over the existing system to advance Mail to the version that will match up with the current OS. This Combo Update is the one that is 729 MB in size, btw, and not the delta update.

  • I can no longer attach aperture files to mail messages. Why?

Before the last aperture upgrade I was always able to select an image in my library and use the share command to attach that image to my mac mail message. Now the email opens but no photo is attached. it is a blank message. I know there is an icon in the right hand corner to access aperture files but this is not as convenient on large libraries.
    Is this a bug?

Yes, I have always done as you have shown:
"File→Share→Email", "right-click→Output→Email", and "{Option}+e" all create a new mail message with the selected Image(s) attached after being exported using the Image Export Preset specified in "Aperture→Preferences→Export".
But for some reason after Idid the lastest aperture update a couple weeks ago (and I am still using snow leopard), I now cannot get files to show up in my messages.
I can attach files while I am in macmail. And I can drag files from my desktop, but I can no longer get files by doing the file>share>email navigation through Aperture.
    Anyone else have this problem?

  • How to attach multiple file in one mail

    Hi,
I've problems with sending multiple files via Gmail account (Ipad version)  When sending the photo or video, I've to just click the photo and choose send to mail one by one. Any simpler way?  Sometimes i did sent both mpg and jpg but the reciepient didn't see any attachment too
Anyone can help advise how to attach different file (doc, video, photo) in one mail will be a lot appreciated. Thank you so much

You can attach multiple pictures to an email on an ipad2. Don't know about original iPad.
Choose a photo or take a screen shot (hold down home button and button next to volume control at same time--screen shot now will appear in photos).
Go to photos and edit your picture or screen shot, save it, then hold down on the image and copy it.
Go to mail, create a new mail and paste it in.
Save you mail as a draft.
Go back to photos and select a different photo, copy it, and return to your draft, and paste it in. Repeat if you need to add more.
Anything that you can take a screen shot or have an photo of can be pasted in one at a time into that draft email.
If mail gets uncooperative, during this process, then double click on home button and quit multitasking mail, then open up mail again and send your draft. Uncooperative means gets frozen.

  • How do I attach multiple files from the pages app to my email

I'm trying to attach multiple documents from the "Pages" app to my email.  I'm using an ipad.  It is only letting me attach one at a time and send each document as individual emails.  I would like to be able to send one email with all 4 documents at the same time.  Any suggestions?
Another thought- When I go to my gmail app to compose an email, I have the following to send:
    to:
    cc:
    subject:
But there is not a paperclip to click to attach any documents either.  Is this all connected and something in my ipad settings needs to be adjusted?

You can only attach one file at a time to email in the Pages app
You cannot attach files in the mail app. If you want to email a file, you do it from within the app where the file is saved such as what you did with Pages.

  • How ATTACH multiple files from different folders in one ATTACH 'session'?

    Hi,
In Mac Mail, I often have to attach 2 or 3 separate files, all from different folder locations on my hard drive.
This requires clicking attach, selecting file 1 and clicking OK, which closes the Attach dialog.
Then I have to do it again 2 times for each other file. oy.
Is there a way to Highlight multiple files in different directories (ala Command-Select...which doesn't work) before selecting OK?
    OR
I've found that I can DRAG a file from the Attach dialog into the email and the dialog will remain open, only the file is HIGHLIGHTED in the email and , hence, gets replaced by the next file I drag into the email (or select by the normal method)....
Is there a way to drag that file#1 into the email and have it NOT remain highlighted, so that I can pick another file to add in addition to that one?
    Thanks!

Have you tried dragging files from Finder windows into the mail message window?
