Cant backup or connect Q10 to my pc.
I downloaded all the updates for the phone and the desktop.
I plug in my phone to backup but all that happens is a very quick flash of a black window with white writings coming and going away just as fast.
I need to backup my phone to get it repaired. My text messages are taking forever to send out and the incomings are not always coming in...
congratulations as youve beaten my record of being connected remotely to rim for 5 hours.
a lot of the problems are due to i link, its corrupt for some people including me.
when i got my Q10 18 months ago i done a backup with i link which took hours as it would continuously connect and disconnect.
after my phone got wiped by a lock out bug rim connected remotely and couldnt help. they said i link was corrupt and they deleted it (they had downloaded themselves an updated version).
a year later its still on my computer and cant be deleted. ive gone into the depths of my registry and no matter what i try its still there.
i tried downloading blend this weekend as ive now bought a passport and the blend software keeps failing saying it is already loaded with this account but its not its only i link messing with it.

iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
It is frequently a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Otherwise:
Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>GeneralReset>Reset Network Settings

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

What should i do to fix these problems? FIRST, i cant backup to icloud. It just crashes before completing the backups. SECOND, i cant ipgrade to IOS6.
An Airport can "extend" the WiFi created by another Airport. It can not extend a non-Apple WiFi. You need TWO Airport units, one to function as the main radio and the other to function as an extender. I used two Express units.
Configuration is simple if you start from a factory default condition. Connect the main Airport to AC power and finally to the Internet modem (or modem/router). Open Airport Utility on your Mac or other computer and accept all of the recommendations. After confirming that it works, insert your desired administrative and WiFi passwords.
Then connect the extender to AC power. As before, open Airport Utility on your Mac or other computer and accept all of the recommendations. No need to add password info.
Do not expect the Airport to respond instantly to the configuration commands. BE PATIENT! -

I think your problems were solvable and not that the Sonnet card and 5,1 is not bootable, in fact the 5,1 is easier, there are more supported cards.
I have the 1,1 where the Sonnet Pro is recommended but for data only and are not bootable because of the 32-bit EFI firmware. NOT the 4,1 and 5,1. The 2008's are problem child and have a mix of PCIe 1.1 slots, first implementation of EFI64 that also has problems. Also the 4,1 has two PCIe 2.x slots 3 and 4 that share a controller but that simply limits bandwidth.
I would have left the TRIM support and NVRAM changes in Yosemite to a separate thread if you wanted to focus on the Sonnet Tempo Pro support in Mac Pro 2010-12 5,1s.
Also the make of SSD can vary and they also have their own firmware as do bootable controllers along with the EFI of the Mac, all of which have to work together. Meaning it might be that Samsung 840 va 840 EVO vs 840 Pro will all be slightly different but my experience is Samsungs work well (as do others like Crucial with the proper firmware - and there was/is an issue with the firmware of the Samsung 840 but not with booting).
The PCIe card gets seen and treated as external and therefore 'eject' but of course you can't when it is the system boot drive.
One thing I found last week and meant to mention: After installing or changing PCIe cards, RESET SMC made all the difference in the world with the long boot delay. Some PCIe cards will add a few seconds, system has to search the device tree which now shows another controller with multiple devices - and sometimes NVRAM and SMC are what I will call "dirty" and need to be rebuilt and reset. -

Yea... agreed I had about 160 GB free on my Hard drive and tried to synce my iPhone 5S (currently about 32GB in use of 64) and iit says I don't have enough free space. Uh...yes....yes I do. So I cleaned up backups in iTunes from my previous phone and moved some large files to my 1TB time capsule...now I have over 200GB Free...and yet...when I try to synce my phone and it moves to the "backup" part...it thinks for a moment...and then says...nope I don't have enough space on my hard drive. Must be new Apple Math? I ran diagnostics on my system...ran a full permissions check and cleaned up everything. Personally..this particular iMac is older. Stuck on 10.6.8 --- I'm thinking it's some sort of 64bit/versus 32bit problem. Still, this should be considered a software defect. Apple needs to create a fix. Alternately... yes...I would like a new iMac, but they aren't free so... if anyone wants to upgrade me I won't turn you down.

Yahoo's server is a known issue.
try to delete the account and read it, or use the yahoo email app. -

Just figured it out! Here it goes:
Click on where you find the little AirPort sign (on iMac it is on top right hand side next to the date and time).
Go down to: Open Network Preferences
Click on: Advanced
Then on DNS
Then click on the + sign and put the following numbers: 8.8.8.8
click again on the + sign and put: 8.8.4.4

Using iTunes on your computer, open Preferences (under the leftmost item in iTunes menu). Choose "Devices" on top. Find your backup listed there, highlight it, and select "Delete Backup".

If that doesn't work, and if you have no backups at all, you might need to send your hard drive to Drive Savers or a similar service. It will cost a lot of money to get the data back, I'm sorry to say. -

Cant seem to connect to internet
since I installed leopard I cant seem to connect to the internet from my wireless an home when trying with safari. I can connect at work through our network and I can at home if I use firefox. It does not make sense to me but the only thing different is leopard.

One thing to try is to restart your WiFi router and/or Cable Modem. Unplug them for 30 seconds and plug them back in.
It might also be a good idea to reset your iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will probably need to reselect your WiFi router in Settings-General-Network-WiFi.
