Cant change my message memory

i bought nokia 3500 2 dayz back and im having problemz with changing the message memory from phone to my memory card... cuz it only hav 8 mb internal in wich 3 mb z already in use cuz of system files, and plus i recieve many msgz n i dont wana delete them so plzzzzz help me out tell me the way 2 change my msg memory to my memory card... and also i dnt see any option of messaging in standby mode i mean i can choose inbox or new txt msg but not the whole message menu with all the optionz like inbox,sent itemz,draft n etc.

No Nokia phone will store SMS on a memory card, especially not S40 phones like the 3500.
S60 phones can make a copy of the messages to the memory card for back-up purposes only, but the messaging functionality always remains on the phone memory.

N70 - Changing Message Memory

Cheers All.
I've N70 and got couple of problems, hoping for some positive replies. I'll list out my problems below.
I can't update my Phone Software, while using Nokia Software Update, the download never goes beyond 2-3%, mind you my Internet speed is fairly good, 512 Kbps. Why doesn't Nokia provide a separate downloadable file which can be installed??
Most importantly, I can't seem to change my Message Memory from "Phone Memory" to "MMC". It just never changes. When I try to change, it gives a message "Changing message memory" and does nothing. For doing so, I go to Messages > Options > Settings > Other > Memory In Use. I wud just format my memory card and start reusing it from scratch, but I have some very important memories stored in it, which I can't afford to lose. Songs, Photos etc stored in MMC are accessible without a problem.

how many messages stored in your mem card?
as i know, you cant change message memory whenever there's an application lock the media. for example, fontrouter. if you installed it in memory card you will not be able to change from mem card to phone memory. some resident applications might be also give symptoms like that
mm...i did also experienced few days ago in my N73, i cant change the message memory though fontrouter was already installed in phone memory. i found the problem, my phone stored too many messages (3500+). n i had to delete many of them til only 2000 using Symbian SDK (coz i need to make a backup first and copy the mail folder to my PC).

In the message class M7 i NEED TO CHANGE THE MESSAGE 301 FROM E to w.

In the program LMBGBFES I want to change the mesage e301 to w301 in the enhancement point but sap is not allowing to do so.
CAN YOU GIVE A SOLUTION TO HOW TO DO IT.

u cant change the message from E301 to W301 as the code where the message is placed does not come under any enhancement point so that cannot be enhanced , u can do even with implicit enhancements but that does nto fall under it i mean uisng implicit enhancement options u can add some new code at start and end of the programs, u can use enahcnement poitns to enhance the code which comes under that point and it is obvious sap do not allow everythign to be modifed , so if u want to really chnage ti then u cna use access key and change it but it has implications on other programs from where this is called

Yes, the message is self-explanatory. You need a carrier who supports Apple's activation policy for an iPhone.

Welcome to Nokia Discussions! Make sure that the sender uses the right country code.
Please take a look at the user guide page 49. Make sure your message centre number is right. Also make sure you don't have any blocking on with your network operator.
If possible, try some other SIM-card in your phone and see if it works. Also try your SIM with other phone and see what happens. If it seems that the issue is on SIM please, contact your operator. If it seems the issue is in the phone, please perform the following actions:
Make a back up with Nokia Suite. Type in *#7780# = soft reset, no data lost.
If it's still the same, type in *#7370# = hard reset, phone memory will be wiped. Restore back up.

How to reimport a changed Interface / Message Type to NW BPM

Hi,
I m developing a NW BPM process (NWDS SP 09) to be used with SAP PO 7.31.
The process is using 15 different imported Interfaces, all of them depending on an External Definition, which unfortunately need to be changed. In PI so far no pretty easy, adapting some mappings, no problem.
But how can i update the process?
Just importing an existing Interface again leads to error message:

No, not properly. I'm going to handle it...
Reimport of a changed own created Message Type works. Reimport of External Definitions does not work. Not nice - during a project it is very common that someone wants to have the data structure changed. And then you have a little problem. How can you recommend a tool what is not able to handle such simple change requests?
So what i did: I created a kind of a "neutral" message type, only used in BPM. I guessed which fields might become important in the future inside BPM for conditions and added 3 "flexible" fields. Plus one field, where i serialized the whole message (using the CDATA expression). Inside BPM i can react on requirements having the values of my fields accessable, but the message itself is serialized into one field value. If there is a requirement from the project to change the Message Type i just need to adapt my mapping from source to BPM. BPM to target is just deserializing and in a second step doing the normal mapping.
The whole solution is a bit complex and self made, but working. Of course i cant start from the scratch for each change.

I searched in suim in authorization object values and it came up with different roles that are not meant to be assigned for that location( we have master and derived role(as per location) concept) !!!! thats where im stuck up with.

Hello ,
As you have mentioned that you have child roles in your landscape and in HR environment child roles are different in terms of org levels and HR org levels are mostly based on Personnel areas.
This might be case where your user administrator was having access to different Personnel areas and user belongs to other personnel areas.
Administrator personnel areas you can check in the Role org level and users personnel areas you can check in PA20
Another problem from HR prospective can be in case where user is not coming under that Administrator to check this you can go in Tcode OOSB--->select the administrator name and hit display objects if you are able to find your user in that list it means that administrator can maintain the user .
But from the problem which you have mentioned that authorization object is itself not present then please add that authorization object in the child role and assign to the administrator.
Please let us know if the role assigned to the administrator have this authorization object or not ?

Cant change country!

I cant change country in itunes, clicking the change country icon displays a menu containing countrys but when i
select one it goes straight back to the US-store! Please help me...

Ok. thanks for the information SirSvempa.
I tested myself to change to the US store, it worked. Then I changed back to the Swedish store again. It took some time but it also worked.
1. Do you get some sort of error message when not beeing able to access the Swedish store?.
2. Are you sure that you are logged in when you are trying to change country?.
I have never heard of this before. So I haven't got the perfect solution for you at this stage. Maybe you could try and re-install iTunes, or if there is an repair option when un-installing - try that.
And maybe it could be a firewall issue, or if you have changed your internet provider lately. These things CAN have an effect.
I'm sending a message to anyone who is reading this and has a solution to this problem - please help us out!.

Unable to set default message memory to mass memor...

Hi i bought n96 two weeks ago,yesterday i wanted to set mass merroy as default message memory. but it asking to copy all messages tonew memor...i said okthen it asked me to save original messages.. i pressed yes. then it says unable to move messages

If it's a new Nano Sim swapped from another, sometimes some services don't reprovision correctly to the new sim.
Call bt mobile and have them manually remove the mms service then reprovision it to your account.
It will then reactivate within 24 hours.

This can depend on the the Apple ID that is used.
I was under the impression that the invididual parts of an iCloud ID could be "registered" separately for iMessages but this may not be correct.
I have an Apple ID that is based on a email from a source external to Apple. (an old Dial-up account email)
I registered this for iCloud and at the time got an @me.com name as well.
I also have two iPhones so I decided to use the @me.com name on one iPhone and the older Dial-up on the other.
This seemed to work up to the OS X10.8.2 and iOS 6 updates.
AT this points I did the OS X one first then the iPhones
I got alerts in Messages on the Mac to add the Dial-up ID iPhone's number to Messages which I accepted.
The Messages Menu > Accounts > iMessages showed the iPhone Number as an alternative Receive ID and offered itself in the Drop as the Send from ID.
I then set up the second iPhone and got an alert in Messages to add the Apple ID and the iPhone number to Messages.
I said no to this.
At iOS 6 this did not get added to the Messages > Preferences > Accounts > iMessage panel.
However at iOS 6.0.2 the iPhones are showing their own Numbers as Greyed out and even though I refused again the @me.com ID and second iPhone's Number they have been added to the Message Menu > Preferences > Accounts > iMessages pane although they are not ticked.
The only link these two Apple ID Names have is that they are both associated with the iCloud Account.
(I Can log in to the same iTunes account with either name, and post here, and access iCloud in a web browser - the password is the same).
I have successfully managed to get one iPhone to have it's greyed out Number ticked so it can accept iMessages sent to the Number.
This involved removing the Apple ID on that iPhone, Closing iMessages, restarting iMessages and then re-adding the Apple ID
I did get an alert to say the ID would not work anywhere in iMessages when removing it.
It was 24 hours before I got an alert in Messages again to add the iPhone Number and Apple ID (I said no and they are not active but do show in the iMessage account on the Mac)
I am a little confused by this bit:-

I can see the iPhone Numbers in Messages Menu > Preferences > Accounts >iMessages Account pane but they are not greyed out even when not active
They are only greyed out on the iPhone's themselves.
I would also make sure the Apple IDs used on each computer and it's related iPhone are separate from each other.

To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You cannot use the Japanese iTunes Store unless are physically present there and have a Japanese payment method. This applies even for free apps; you cannot get them from the Japanese iTunes Store if you are in the US.
If you are in Japan, you can set up a new iTunes Store account just to get free apps. See:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
If you have moved to Japan and wish to change the country of your account permanently, you can contact the iTunes Store and ask them to clear your remaining balance. You will need to be able to provide a Japanese payment method, though.
