Cant click/choose Control Center Manager in Design Center

Hi all,
When doing an upgrade from 10.2.0.3 > 11.2.0.1 of my OWB repository I cant enter my Control Center Manager. The name appears in the menu, but I cant click on it, its blured out.
Any ideas?

As far as I know, it happens when all projects are closed. One project must be opened to access control center.
It's the only situation I saw it happens.

  • I cant get the control center to swipe on my iphone 5 with ios 7

anyone else haveing the same issue.  the notification center works when you swipe down as well as the search iphone feature.

Yeah, I got fat fingers and have jammed into the most bottom part that the screen will let me touch with the case on and stilll can not get it to work.
Again works fine with the case off and I start the swipe up off the illuminated part of the screen and it works every time. Just does not work with the case on to get the Control Center swipe to work.
Not a great big deal but it is a feature that would be nice to have with my favorite Otterbox Defender Case.

  • Cant click buttons to center image?

Hey look at this image, I cant click those buttons. Any idea why? Thanks.

They're for helping you align different layers.
Select two layers in the Layers palette and many of those buttons will become active.  Select three and they all become active.

  • Can't see process flow locations in control center

    Hi there
We have process flows which pointing to process flow locations. Can see these locations in Design Center but when try delopy the process flows can't since the process flow locations are not visible.
How do you make these locations visible in the Control Center.
    Many Thanks

    Hi there
found out how to do this - double-click the control center and see the various locations it can see on the right hand side - the process flow ones were on the left - simply added them to right and can now see in control center and deploy.
    Many Thanks

  • Control Center Manager - blank grey window .... forever

I'm running OWB10gR2. Many times a day I will choose Tools->Control Center Manager from the OWB Design window. The Control Center Manager window comes up but is just blank. In most cases I must bring up the Windows Task Manager to kill the process. Occasionally even the Task Manager won't kill the process and I must reboot.
Has anyone seen this situation? Please send me your thoughts/ideas?
Could this be Java version related?
    Thanks,
    Bob Larsen

    Bob,
You could try removing the file owb/bin/admin/DeployMgrLayout.xml - this stores the layout of the Control Center Manager, and if it's become corrupted, may result in an empty window as you've described.
Failing that, try running the owb client from command line using owb/bin/win32/owbclient.sh, and check the displayed log for any errors when the Control Center Manager is invoked.
    Nigel.

  • (OWB 10g R2) Control Center Manager won't start

    Hi,
I'm in the middle of upgrading from OWB10g Release 1 to OWB10g Release 2 on a testbox.
I have completed the steps to upgrade the runtime metadata (I did the Move, then I upgraded the locations and then I ran the tcl script in OMBPlus).
Now, I have gone to the DEFAULT_CONFIGURATION for my project and I updated the default control center for my project.
    Follow me so far?
Okay, here's the problem.... when I try to start the "Control Center Manager" from the Design Center's Tool menu.... I see nothing but a grey window with a titlebar and nothing else.
This happens regardless of whether I try to launch the Control Center Manager from a windows client or the linux server.
On the linux server I see this output after I enter the username and password to connect to the Control Center Manager:

    Hi, thanks for responding...
When I run show_service.sql it says the Control Center Service is Available. (See below).

  • Migration to 10.2: Target Schema managed by old Control Center/Runtime Rep

    Hi
We are migrating from OWB10gR1 to R2 (10.2.0.4)
After loosing (!) the old 10.1 runtime repository "OWBRUN" we created a new Design Repository.
Then we wanted assign an old target schema named "TARGET" to the new one (with Security -> User -> New ...)
    Unfortunately we receive the message:
User "TARGET" is managed by another control center: OWBRUN
How can we remove this connection between "OWBRUN" and "TARGET" ?
Otherwise we can not use this schema as a target, and therefore we can't deploy mappings to it.
    Beat

I solved my problem using the 10gR2-Repository Assistant:
    1. Installing a new Control Center with the name of the old one (OWBRUN exactly!).
    2. Register the target schemas to this new CC (as before in 10gR1)
    3. Unregister those targets from OWBRUN
    4. Register the targets to the correct CC (OWBRUN1020)
    (5. Deinstall CC OWBRUN)

  • Opening Control Center Manager Shuts Down OWB Application

We are currently using OWB Release 10g Release 2 and have not had any issues for the past 1.5 years. All of the sudden beginning last week, we started experiencing issues with the software.
    1. Last week, I logged into Design Center. No problems. I then went to Tools - Control Center Manager. As the Control Center window attempted to open, it shut down the entire OWB application. Interesting. I logged in as a different user and was able to get in later.
    2. As of today, I don't have any issues with OWB. I'm able to get to Control Center without any problems.
    3. My co-worker is experiencing the same problem that I had last week. As soon as he tries to open Control Center Manager, all of OWB shuts down including Design Center. He restarted his PC, tried to log in as a different user, etc. but nothing seems to help.
We looked under the C:\OraHome_1\owb\log directory but nothing is there. Does anyone have any clues as to what is going on or where we can check to see what is causing this problem?
    OWB Client 10.2.0.4.36
    OWB Repository 10.2.0.4.0
    Thanks,
    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer
Worth starting the OWB client using the batch or shell script depending on your platform (either owb/bin/win32 or owb/bin/unix/owbclient.sh) and pasting the standard output from the console window into the forum when you do this, it might have some clues.
    Cheers

  • Z77A GD 65- Control Center + Click BiosII updates now not working.

Hi, I have the Z77A GD 65 mainboard. Just switched on and there was an update for Live 5 so I installed that, I was then prompted to update Control Center and Click BiosII so I did so. When I try to run Click BiosII I get an error msg telling me that it as been removed and I cant run Control Center has it dosent seem to be present on my pc at all.

    Quote
Still cant get it to work. It just stays on the splash screen and nothing seems to want to load. I am thinking that my orig bios update was no good, should I try the second bios?
Switch to your back up bios and see if all is well. If it is, uninstall live update and check the website periodically for updates.
If a bios update is nessesary: >>Use the MSI HQ Forum USB flasher<<
You may also switch to the other bios once the flash tool has loaded to re-flash the corrupted bios. In other words, boot using good bios into flash tool, when the screen comes up asking for input, reach in and switch to the bad bios. Proceed with flash.
Not a bad idea to run memtest first which is on the tool.

  • OWB10g - Control Center Manager takes 10 minutes to appear

    OWB Client 10.2.0.2.8 / OWB Repository 10.2.0.2.0
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0
Attempting to access the Control Center Manager from the Design Center takes 10 minutes to respond.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
    Thanks very much!
    Stephen

    Thanks for the help offered.
I Optimized the repository via the GUI and then purged all audit data per 306431.1 ( It's a development system - we promote to Test and Production via TCL so this is the only environment where the Control Center Manager performance has a bearing - for deployment).
Happy to say all's well - getting respectable response from the Control Center Manager now thanks.
(Not really sure whether the Optimize was a contributing factor or not).
Thanks again and Happy New Year!

    Hello,
I'm doing the Oracle BI Standard Edition One tutorial and I'm having a problem at section 3.8 when registering the locations. I go to the Control Center Manager, right-clicked the BISE1_TUTORIALWH_LOCATION and selected Register. I introducted the password, checked the connection and pressed Ok as said in the tutorial. • Connection lost after starting control center manager owb 11.2

    Hello!
We have a test installation of OWB 11.2 (Repository Version 11.2.0.3 / Client Version 11.2.0.2 WINDOWS 32bit) because we want migrate our 11.1 environment to this version.
We have successfully imported the old repository with mdl upgrade. We can edit mappings and so on in the Design Center. Also the deployment is possible from there.
If we start the control center manager with the default_configuration we lose the connection to repository. Also the design center is no longer connected.
The follow the recommendation for the connection with 11.2.0.2 Client to a 11.2.0.3 Repository.
Does anybody know what to do?
