Cant connect to iTunes store from iPod please help new user

Getting cant connect error tried online support didn't work please help never used this before

I had this problem just the other day it took me a few day to figure it out but what I did is go to setttings and click store then sign in . It then told me that I have to review payment option. Theer should be a option none in payment options but if there is not put in a credit card then conferm it then when your done you can take off your credit card option

  • Can't connect to Itunes store from Ipod via Wifi

    Hey guys,
    Everything works fine on my PC but when i connect to wifi i just cannot connect to the itunes store from the Ipod itself. The internet is working great on Safari. Can someone please help!
    I have an Ipod touch 2nd gen with the latest software.

    why would the network settings need to be reset? I can connect to the internet just fine.
    I am the ISP so i know theres no problems BTW. All ports are wide open throughout my subscriber network.

    i have not been able to connect to the itunes store from my new computer since i got it for christmas last year! i have tried just about everything and i was about to give up. i have flushed the DNS, enabled itunes through my windows firewall, unchecked the proxy settings in my internet explorer, made sure my time zone and date is correct, and im running out of other options!! can someone please help me or have any other ideas to get me into the itunes store????? HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

    Only with iOS5 or later you can update/upgrade directly from the iPod/iPhone.
    When your version of iOS is lower than 5, you must connect to iTunes and then update.
    It is best when you update iTunes to the latest version first.

    I've had the same problem for the last two weeks. Finally resolved the issue in Windows 7.
    Go to start button, control panel, system & security, windows firewall. On the left side of the box click on "advanced settings." On the left side of the box again click on "Inbound Rules." You should be able to see iTunes under the name category. Make sure it has a green check mark next to it. If it does not, then double click on the name. In the "general" box which comes up open, click "Allow the Connection." That worked for me. Somehow itunes was blocked but now I can access the itunes store again.

    It took about an hour to upgrade my iphone. You're also left a couple of times with a blank screen on the iphone whilst it does things in the background which is a bit confusing. Suggest you wait - it starts doing things again (like reload your apps and then your photos etc) after you think it's finished. It's finished only when it says it is.....

    Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
    Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
    Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

    Then try restoring on another computer.

    Welcome to the Support Communities!  It is puzzling that you cannot access the iTunes Store from three different devices.  Were you able to access other websites?  The first step would be to make sure your internet connection is working.
    Another thing to try would be to follow the steps for the iPhone in the article below and see if you can make a cellular connection instead of using Wi-Fi.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update(iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
