Cant connect Wrt54g with SBC! please help
Ok i just got the at&t internet package in the mail and i already set it up. I got a linksys wrt54g router and it just doesnt want to work. I get to the part where it says connecting to the internet but it just never connects. I went to dslreports.com and it says i actually have pacicific bell - SBC. I used to have sbc adn even then i could never intstall the router. Someone please help me. oh yeah its a motorola modem.
Try following settings .....
Please access the setup page of the router by launching an Internet
Explorer and type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1 and press enter. When
it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field
empty and provide password as “admin "" all in lower cases and then
click on ok.
On the main setup page select the "Internet Connection Type"
as "PPPoE”. Then provide the username and password provided by your ISP
(Internet service provider) for your connection(Example:
[email protected])- Select the "Keep Alive" option and choose the
redial period as 30 sec" and then click on the Save Settings button.

I have installed mysql on linux 7.x.This was installed during installation of linux.From the shell prompt i can go inside mysql and can successfully execute all query statements.
Now have downloaded mm.mysqljdbc driver(i.2c) and installed it,set the classpath in .bash_profile,sh file
Everything ,including Tomcat Apache server is running fine
But i am unable to connect a jsp page to mysql database.
A error message "server configuration denies access to datasource " is coming .
My code is like this

Error is coming in the second line while establishing connection.
Here i would like to mention that username and password is the username and password of the root user in LInux.
Now i mm confused what username and password will have to be used in JSP.Because i did nt have to specify any username or password while entering mysql.
If my problem is clear,somebody please help...all jobs stuck.Try doing it without the username and password, otherwise create a new user in MySQL.

Hi everyone, brand new macbook. i connected the ethernet and its giving me all these problems and will not connect to the internet. I tried to just let it configure automatically but even that doesnt work.
I have ethernet via time warner cable btw.

thank u!Here is how to do a power cycle or what is called a reset.
Plug in your mac to your modem
Un plug the power cord to your modem
Wait 5 seconds, then plug the power cord back in
Give a minute or so to reboot and re-config its settings
Try clicking on safari and connecting to the internet
This should work, if not use the mac internet connect wizard to try and fix the problem.
If both of those solutions do not work then post back here. -

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo. -

If no change after re-installing iTunes, there is probably a software conflict on your computer.

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.

If you are the original owner of the phone and know the Apple ID and password that were used to activate it originally, and if you have an existing backup to restore from, you can force it into recovery mode (which will completely erase it) and restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. When you do you will encounter activation lock, and will have to provide the ID and password used to activate it originally in order to activate it again. If you can't, you won't be able to activate and use it.

EUREKA, I found the solution to my problem in a Discussion initiated by gingertodd on July 27, 2011 entitled "Safari in Lion hijacked by malware." The solution was provided by Badunit who recommended force quitting Safari and then reopening it while holding down the Shift key. It worked instantly, and I subsequently was able to open Safari normally by just clicking on its icon in the Dock. THANK YOU BADUNIT!
