Cant control text and colour of background in WPC

it also does not take the default portal theme. i dont understand it. also the controls are not there to change.
anyone else has had the same issue?

Hi Buzz,
you really can't get that feature in a standard delivery right now. there are a few ways which you can try to do that:
1) You can change the XSL files for the WPC content. This will affect the components for which the files have been published.
Go to --> Content Administration --> Km content > root>etc>wpceditor>styles. eg: wpc_editor.xsl
2) You can also change the CSS files for these and then change the styles to suit your look and feel.
Go to --> Content Administration --> Km content > root>etc>wpceditor>css>runtime> content.css
you will probably need a restart to resolve this issue.

Hi Tom,
Your LOOKUP formula will return a value that it finds in the "other" table. That value can be used in conditional highlighting rules. (Numbers 3 calls it conditional highlighting, not conditional formatting. Just to keep us awake, I guess, but it works the same).

Numeric Control - Text and Background Color changes when operating inc/dec arrows

Hi,
I'm developing an application that has a panel with black background and green or red numbers. I've added numeric controls and configured the text color and text background color attributes accordinglingy. I set the numeric control to hot or validate control mode and show the inc/dec arrows, since I want to be able to incr/decr the numbers.
The problem is that when I run the application and I hit the inc/dec arrows, then the colors inside the numeric control frame become inverted: the black background becomes white and the green number becomes cyan. I've created a callback function assosicated with the numeric control and tried forcing the text and background color, in the EVENT_VAL_CHANGED section, using the SetCtrlAttrribute() function, but to no avail. Also added ProcessDrawEvents didn't help.
When I mouse click again outside the numeric control, then it reverts back to its original colors (green text, black background).
Any suggestions as to how I can fix this ?
I want it to keep its original colors at all times, even when I'm clicking the incr/decr arrows...

Ok, now I see what's happening.
The effect you are seeing is a resul of standard numeric control behaviour combined with the black bcakground: when you use arrows to increment/decrement a numeric control its value will be automatically highlighted; on the default background you'll see the white area and figures highlighted in black (white numbers on balck background). If you set the background to black the system will automatically change the colors used to highlight the text, and that's what you're seeing.
By the way, this does not happens if you use up and down keys on the keyboard: text is not highlighted so colors are not changing.
Additionally, this is not only valid for numerics: see the behaviour of the string controls on the bottom of your panel when you tab up to them. This effect does not happen on controls set as indicator like the big clock in the upper part of the panel.
The only way I can see to overcome this behaviour is to hide control built-in arrows and create your own up and down buttons with which you can manipulate the numeric control. I am attaching a modified version of your project with buttons on the left numeric; sorry for the poor aesthetic: I have used some arrow icons I had on my disk, you may want to create your own arrows with the colors and shape you prefer.

Hp c7180. Test page has got lines across text and colours.

My Hp photosmart c7180 is not printing to a good quality.
My problems started when the cleaning mechanism was not able to go back to the home position and this then caused the print head to slam up to the cleaning mechanism (there is two plastic tabs that it hit). I then went inside the machine and found that the cleaning mechanism is on a runner with the rubber and a few other things. I freed up this mechanism and got it to slide up and down several times. i then put the machine back together printed a test page and the inks were very faint. After cleaning the head and doing an alignment several times, the inks are becoming more clear but still not right. There is a lot of lines through the text and the blocks of colour.
I did a print of a page of small text and the quality was fine. I printed a picture in greyscale and it has greens and reds in it. Also the larger text is blurred on some lines (not all the text on the same line is blurred)
What do i do now ??
There is also a roller that is spinning more than it used to. This is located underneath the print head towards the back of the printer.( It is connected to the little cogs on the left which pump the ink to the heads i think) Any suggestions on this would also be greatly appreciated.

I would like to help you with the printing issue you are experiencing. I understand the issue seems to be related to the ink system or potentially the driver. The best plan of attack is to narrow down the root cause.
Can you please perform a colour copy that contains black spots too? I would like to see if the printer hardware can duplicate a page without any quality issues. Please let me know the outcome of the copy and we can go from there. Thanks

SUPPLEMENT TO MY PREVIOUS POST
The copy and paste into dialog boxes works just fine. I suspect that my earlier problem was due to not being familiar with the new computer's keyboard. I am used to the CTRL key being located at the bottom left of the keyboard. The new keyboard has the Fn key in that position. I must have pressed Fn instead of CTRL. The old habits die hard. I feel like for not noticing this earlier.

Is the colour in the CSS set to #000000? In iBooks the text that is a link is purple. You can change it to force it to be black but if someone switches to night mode it won't show up on the black background so it's not recommended.

Linked psd not rendering correctly. Text and colour shows up wrong. What's happening?

I'm trying to use linked psd's but when I go to link one, the text shows up all wrong.
I'm not resizing the linked psd at all, and i'm saving it exactly as I would save my main psd.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "linking"? Have you tried Layer > Matting > Defringe? What happens when you flatten the file?

Cant see text and cant drag and drop images

ok well when I insert text it doesnt show but It shows what i written on the side. I have contact support their answer was they can't help me because I am trial verison. I am simply not going to buy a program if the trial verison is not working its that simple. Also When I try to drag and drop a picture a little circle apears with the line through it. I do have admin rights.

On the side is called Layer Palette there dopple click on the T then go to the Move Tool. It should scow now.
You might be mixing up stuff.
So there is a Text Layer (signified by an Icon with a »T« in the Layers Panel)?
Does it contain text yet?
When you double click that the text should become selected, but the Move Tool has nothing to do with this.
Could you please post a screenshot with the Layers Panel visible?

Are you looking to find out all the customers that have a particular text entered in the Sales Area view in Customer Master Data? If yes, you can get this information from table STXH. Using SE16, input TDOBJECT=KNVV and TDID='Your Text Id' . This will get you all the entries for the textid entered in customer master data - sales view. In the result you get, the column TDNAME has the customer name. First 10 characters are the customer name and the remaining 8 are the sales area.
This way you can get a list of all customers that have a particular text entered in master data.

How cna I change the text and background colours in iTunes?

Can anyone tell me how I can change the text and background colours in iTunes? I am a visually impared user and my main requirement on a PC is to change the colour schemem to white text on a black background. Most software adopts the settings of your colour scheme but iTunes goes it's own and has everything on white backgrounds. I cannot read from white backgrounds (dazzle - that sort of thing). I have never used iTunes for this reason. I have always been a devotee of by far the best media player out there Musicmatch Jukebox, who allow you to edit skins in every detail. However, recently Musicmatch was taken over and users were forced to migrate to the ridiculously poor Yahoo Music Jukebox. A massive downgrade in so many ways.
I want to use iTunes but will not be able to if I cannot sort this issue out. I downloaded 7.5 before discovering that if you want to use Multi Plugin for skins you need to go back to iTunes 7.02. I've done that, but the skins available are completely pointless to my eyes. They don't change the colours of the main components, just the graphical bit at the top.
What I need to do is change the background of the main browser windows so that they are black and the text is white (you know the track lists and tree views, etc). This must be a very simple case of just changing the codes somewhere, but I can't find where. I read somewhere that you need to hack into something call ResourceDB inside a file called iTunes.jar. There is no such file on my PC. Could that be a Mac thing?
Please help someone if you can. I would like to become an iTunes user. There seems to be more music available than on Napster which I currently use.

In my opinion, it seems that Apple has decided to sacrifice usability so that iTunes would look more like a Mac application. You are probably already aware that using Windows' built-in high-contrast settings do not work in iTunes.
I did some hacking at the resource file a while back, but I was unable to figure out how to change the color of the background. IIRC there was a resource whose description indicated it would change the background color, but when I changed the resource, nothing happened.
I was, however, able to figure out how to make the "large" font much larger (any size you want, I suppose). Will that help? See

I don't think it is too harsh to call it "shameful" that Apple has chosen this design path. Where I work, we are required to make ALL applications (or any computer interface, such as a website) section 508 compliant. You are wonderful! You are the best! I'm Stephania and I recently purchased a refurbished ipad2. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and updating & fixing it so my liking. The only thing that I couldn't correct were the photos that looked like negatives. Every photo, even on the internet, on apps, everywhere! I just couldn't figure out how to fix it. I contacted Apple Care and its too difficult to get in touch with them. I had looked through support before but didn't put in the right question. Well, today I got lucky. I did the two things you suggested and turning the "White On Black" off did the trick. I'm so happy! I had a feeling it was something simple and this is not even in the manual!

Hi forum, how do you see the size and colour of a piece of text in Dreamweaver Cs5, I have some text in a dreamweaver file which is a size I like and a colour I like and I want to make a CSS rule with these characteristics. How can you see what size and colour a piece of text is?

Above code is deprecated. CS5 will not pick up these styles in the CSS styles panel. Legacy sites are not simple to work with. They need to be converted to modern standards. You do this by stripping the HTML styles from markup and re-writing styles to CSS.

Preview Printing Negative Images - White text and lines on black background

Desperate for help here. After upgrading to Tiger, I have more instances when Preview displays a PDF correctly but prints certain pages with images, such as graphs and technical figures, as negatives, that is, white text and line art on a black background. Is there any way I can fix this? Any advice would be most appreciated.

I was trying to scan from a Lexmark X5250 into Preview so that I could fax a signed document to a company.
When I chose "To be faxed", with Preview TIFF program under 10.4.6 (combo) (PPC), the document appeares in Preview as a white-on-black (negative) in Preview's open window.
A work-around seems to be that one selects "To be printed", then prints from Preview, then selects (in the lower-left corner drop-down-menu) "Fax PDF". (Unfortunately, the modem still won't hang-up properly -- is this because of my ADSL filter on the fax phone-line? ).
