If you are a paid subscriber, are you seeing an error during conversion? We have identified a recent problem with some regional formats like Japanese and Danish. Please try and change the Region Format under Settings->General->International to United States to resolve the failures.

Also will it again do a installation, as the trial version took close to 11 hr so a complete installation.

You get the serial key by purchasing the application. You do not have to reinstall. You can use the serial key to convert the trial version to the fully licensed version.

when I load APE I get a screen headed Premiere Elements 4 which asks me for a new project or saved project.
This is very odd. Does Photoshop Elements show PSE 10, or 4?
What is shown for Help About, in PrE? Does that also say Premiere Elements 4?
As far as the Project file (the PREL), installation, uninstall, etc., should not affect that, but you can certainly make a Copy of that PREL file for safe keeping elsewhere.
Remember, the trial version will add a watermark to the Exported/Shared file. This FAQ Entry will tell you how to remove that watermark, when you get the full-paid version running with your S/N, and then go to Export/Share that Timeline afterwards.

Why is it necessary to sign-in and re-enter my serial number now that I have converted my trial version of Photoshop Elements 12 to a full package? Is it possible to turn off the trial banner at start-up?

Thank you for your response to my query.
In answer to your question, yes it happend every time that I started the program from scratch. However, I have resolved the issue by starting the program, waiting for the trial banner to be revealed then exit from Photoshop without closing the Trial banner or entering any details. This leaves the banner in the background. When the program display was removed from the screen I re-entered my sign-in and serial number details. After this, somewhat contrived procedure, the program worked without any reference to the original trial or need to sign-in.
Thanks again for your interest. Incidentally, did you make a back-up disk or your new program? If yes, I would be interested to learn how this is achieved.

Converting to MP3 or WAV - keep getting msg - protected files cant convert-

When I right click and select convert to MP3 or WAV I keep getting the message the fle is proctected and cant be converted to other formats such as MP3 or WAV ....IS there a way around this or do I need to burn a cd and then rip it ? If I do this then I loose the names of songs, artists, etc

As I responded on the other thread, you will need to check "include CD text" in your burning preferences.

DDConverter cant convert

When I try to deploy my existing 8.1 WARs/EARs onto 9.0 i get validation errors during deployment which basically say that I cant have <description> element within a <context-param> element in web.xml
I am trying to convert all web.xml DDs using the DDConverter but even this tool throws the following exception:

Have bought P.E.10; how convert my trial version to full version?

Have bought Photoshop Elements 10. Had trouble installing it. Forum advised downloading trial version, then converting that. Have downloaded trial version successfully. But how do I now convert to Full Version without buying what I've already bought (I have a disk, a serial number, the whole package)? Many, many thanks if someone can answer this!!

Ah, I was somehow doing both the trial version and the disk version at the same time. I entered that long serial number at one point. And I'm not getting a countdown of days left when I open my Photoshop Elements. So it looks like I might have inadvertently installed the full version--yay! (will know for certain when the 30 days are up if my Adobe doesn't go kaput). In this case, I feel like a dunce. But I'm a grateful dunce and thank you, thank you, thank you for this information!! Can't tell you how much people like me deeply appreciate such help. There's a special place in Heaven, etc….

P.S. BTW, others installing a purchased Photoshop Elements on a new Mac Lion might note that they have to go through steps to get a Photoshop Elements Installer FIRST or the software won't load. None of the Adobe instructions told me that and that's partially how I stumbled into a kind of shaky limbo.

Cant install Cs3 Trial Version or off of CD.

Hi! I used to use Photoshop Cs3 on my old Windows XP computer. I got a new vista computer a year ago and now I need photoshop again, but when I try to install, I get an err. So I followed those steps and now the setup launches and then says "Critical errs were found in setup: Session has dependencies that can not be satisfied. See setup log for details."....I looked around the internet and could not find anything. I thought something could be wrong with the disk, so I downloaded a trial for Cs3 but I get the exact same err...Also, I noticed if I go to add/manage programs, photoshop cs3 is in there twice. However, I can not get rid of it because when I click on it, it just opens the installer which then crashes with the same err.
Can anybody help me out? I really need to get this installed. Thanks in advance!

I looked at them both, but its mostly focused on uninstalling previous adobe programs, of which I have none (except Adobe Reader). Also, for CS3 it says "There is not much to report here - either it works or it doesn't. Unfortunately there are no specific fixes or steps that could help you in making the installs go through; you can mostly just keep your fingers crossed and follow the generic advice. CS3 products are not fit to run on Windows 7 and may also cause problems on Windows Vista. " and then link it provides to the cleaner tool is broken. It also did not address my problem specificly. Does that mean there is no way to get this program onto my computer, since its vista? I cant afford a newer version right now, so perhaps somebody knows a workaround? Thanks for the reply anyway.

What other way is there, i tried looking up some previous posts but it all looks very complicated and i cant work it out.
Anyone give me an uncomplicated step by step way of getting my own ringtones on my iphone?

Take any audio file
Make sure that it is in the AAC format.
Make sure that it is less than 30 seconds long.
and
Rename it with .m4r as a file extension.
Once you have the file, import it into iTunes - and it will be synced onto your iPhone.
That's all you have to do.
You can use Garageband to do the editing. If you are on a Mac.
If you already have a bunch of MP3 ringtones - load them into iTunes. Convert them to AAC. Drag the AAC files onto your desktop. Rename them as .m4r - and load them back into iTunes.
