Cant create subordinate under a supervisor

hi all,
I have a doubt regarding OM- and I can create an HR Manager position & assign a task to him.
But I 'm unable to create a subordinate under the manager as a position & cant assign any task
Please any one guide me on this.
Let me know is there any other way to assign it

Hai
You can create two positions, HR Manager and HR Assistant. Assign task to each position. Go to Tool bar, you can see GO TO, when you click that you can find the reporting structure. Just do this by clicking on the position which you want to create the reporting structure.
Now select the HR Manager and give CntrlShiftF6, then select the HR Assistant and save.
Now if you go back to reporting structure again, you can see HR Manager and under him HR assistant.

If you dont have access to create a new B system , then you will have to use existing Bsystem.
I think you should be knowing which system the RFC belongs to , or if its a Proof of concept that you are trying to do , you can use any existing Bsystem that you can find in ID under communication Component.If you dont have any B system, you will have to check with Admin to get one created for you.

Cant Create SharedAddin Project in VS2008?

when i use vs2008 to create a sharedaddin project under windows server 2003 sp2
when the .net framework is 3.0 or 3.5 the wizard failed to create a project and says to install vs2008 properly,
while i create the project under .net 2.0 ,the creation is successful.
after i reinstall the vs2008 with full install,i still cant create sharedaddin in vs2008 under .net3.0 or 3.5
i have install the office pia 2007,vsto2.0 and 3.0 runtime and language pack,what's the problem

I also could create the SharedAddin Project in VS2008 under .Net 3.0 and .Net 3.5 on Windows 7. So I suspect the issue may relative to the enviroment. Did you update the .Net Framwok 3.0 and 3.5 to the latest version?
I suggest that you compare the detail version of .Net Framewokr between yours and your colleagure's.
If not, I suggest that you install the same version of your colleagure's to see whether the issue was fiexed.
If yes, I also suggest that you to re-install the .Net 3.0 Framework and .Net 3.5 to see wether the isseue was caused by broken .Net FrameWork.

Cant create hierarchy FILE load for 0GL_ACCOUNT

Hi guys i have a special Question......we are trying to create a file load hierarchy source for 0GL_ACCOUNT, in BC i cant find any FILE type infosource or datasource.....in source systems FILE i cant create a datasource for hierarchy and in the hierarchy infosource appears a message that the infosource is already mapped to DEVFILE because theres an infosource FILE type for load master data...

Are you using the flexible or direct update? This will only work with Direct Update since you can only load a data target/infoprovider using the flexible update and a hierarchy is never an infoprovider.
For example, if you make your characteristic and infoprovider. The Attrib and Text infoproviders show up under the infoprovider tab. However, the Hierarchies don't.
So, here is a step-by-step solution you can follow ...
1.) Under Infosources tab, find your characteristic. You need to find the infosource for direct update. It will have the three icons ... one for attributes, texts and hierarchies. If you don't see the green hierarchy icon, then you need to turn hierarchies on for the characteristic.
2.) Right click on the infosource and choose, "Assign Datasource".
3.) Under Source System, choose your flat file source system, it is probably named FLATFILE, FILE, TEXT, etc....
4.) Enter your transport info and select yes to the infosource/datasource assignments for attributes, texts and hierarchies (assuming you have all three icons)
5.) Select the drop down for datasource and choose your hierarchy datasource.
6.) Activate the datasource or switch the transfer method to IDOC (instead of PSA) and save the infosource (no activation under IDOCs).
7.) You can now create your info package against the hierarchy datasource.
If you are having trouble getting to this stage, the next is going to be more difficult -or- perhaps you are already at this and are having trouble loading the hierarchy?
Whatever the case, please tell us the steps you have gone through and the errors or error messages you are receiving. Sometimes these issues are very complicated to both explain and to understand.

Palm Profile cannot sign in and cant create new palm profile!

I am looking for help with my company Pre 2 EU Unlock Phone.
I am an HP Employee and i got my Pre 2 months ago, then i dont have any issue to create my palm profile - [email protected]
Few days ago I wipe my phone coz it was very slow and when i try to sign in i get an error - Sign In Failed.
Of course i check the site and everything looks fine. I delete the device under my profile coz i thought that cause any issue. And try to log on again - unsuccessfully
Then i try to create new profile and again nothing happen
I go to live chat and i have 3hours chat with support - again no success(Chat session ID:99825861). We try everything possible but its not working..
Ofcourse web chat rep try to explain me that the root cause is in my carrier which is not true because my card have 3G and its working perfectly.
Because when i type wrong password it said me password is wrong and i click on forgot password i select the secret question and change the password via the phone - which is a clear proof that Internet 3G is working!
Then i decide to downgrade to 2.0 - again cant login and cant create new profile, try with 2.01 again no success.
Now back on 2.1 with #*DEVMODE# everything is working i have signal and i can use the phone but i dont have app catalog and cant install apps because there is no Palm profile on the phone.
I try SDK tool and to find what is the app which start profile creation card with palm-launch but without success.
So i have few Question
- Do we(you) have a problem with WebOSProfile Services ?
- why i cant create new or login to my existent profile ?
- in DEVMODE how i can create palm profile (is that possible) and if it is how to do it ?
- what is the HP internal group which support this services and how i can contact you internaly ?
Looking for your reply because thats and urgent and i cant use my phone more than 3 days

What do you mean by "upgrade?" If you've installed some software version that isn't supported for your device, then you may have to use the WebOS Doctor to go back to a supported version.
If you've "upgraded" to a supported version, then this problem will require you call Palm/HP's support to find out why you can't sign into your profile.

Icloud restore error "Cant Create AppleID"

I have an iPhone 4 and a 4s i purchased to replace the 4. I did an iCloud backup on the 4 to restore to the 4s successfully. On the 4s i did erase all content and settings and then try to restore from icloud backup. I enter my AppleID and pw, takes me to the agree to conditions screen, i click agree and then get a message "Cant Create AppleID" and all i can do is click OK. Now, i have two AppleIDs. When i use the other AppleID it accepts this and I can move forward but the other ID has the storage plan plus the backup of my device. I tried removing all devices from 'Find My iPhone' under this appleID but this didnt help.
Both devices are iOS 7.0.4
Any advice?

I associated my Apple ID in their system as an Apple Reseller account because I was working for a third-party Apple Authorized Dealer a few months ago. After that point, this is when I noticed this happened.
Tier 2 of AppleCare told me they believe this is the reason I've been having problems being able to restore because Apple Reseller accounts are not "iCloud Eligible"
I replied and told them it was ok for them to remove my account as reseller status and after multiple attempts to reach the advisor assigned to my case, he stopped responding.
I fear I may be out of luck. Are you by any chance an Apple reseller or associated with an Apple reseller?

I think this is essentially saying that the Supervisor Assignment is wrong or no longer effective. Looking at your SQL to fetch the Supervisor Assignment there are a number of potential issues. This is what you've currently got:

Potential Problems/Clarifications
1. What is r.supervisor_number, what does it contain and how is it derived? I can't see that anywhere else in the block...
2. Is there a chance that r.supervisor_number is referencing an employee who has left, ie, now an ex-employee?
3. The SELECT statement that fetches the assignment_id does not perform any date-effective restrictions, which means you might be lucky enough to fetch the person's current assignment. But you might also fetch an old or future-dated assignment.
4. The SELECT statement that fetches the assignment_id does not restrict the type of assignment, so if this manager has applied for a job (ie, they have an applicant assignment) or some other type of non-employee assignment you might be picking that up.
This would work better for you:

If it doesn't return a row it means that the supervisor (or whatever employee is returned by r.supervisor_number) is not active as at sysdate and cannot be used. Note that this SQL only applies for employees. If you can have Contingent Workers as supervisors in your implementation then this needs tweaking.

Any reason NOT to create subfolders under user folder?

I'm switching over from a 5+ year old MacBook Pro to a new one. I do a lot of audio recording and production work. On my old machine, which was my first Mac, I created a subfolder 'Recordings' under my user folder (let's say it's named "bob"). I don't remember why I did that. Probably I was thinking well, this stuff isn't documents.
On the new machine, running Yosemite, I discovered that Apple in it's wisdom had made my "bob" user folder hidden, which meant I had to go figure out how to show it because there are some audio plugin settings files I needed to add manually from the old machine into my user/ Library area. Did that.
BUT... I'm wondering if there is some reason why Apple changed the user folder to hidden (other than "you dumb users don't need to know about this stuff"), and specifically, if I should avoid creating any subfolders under my user folder? I would really rather not have my 'Recordings' folder inside the Documents folder, but I guess I can if there's some good reason not to create subfolders under 'bob'.

They didn't make it hidden (like the Library sub folder), but I believe it is no longer included in the sidebar by default. Probably for the reason you state. As you've found, you can add it back through Finder Preferences menu.

I would suggest declaring a structure of type BAPE_VBAP & BAPE_VBEP...Then move the values instead of using offset..
Example
DATA: S_BAPE_VBAP TYPE BAPE_VBAP.
Populate the Extension structure WITH Order commited flag
LW_EXT_STRUCTURE-STRUCTURE = C_BAPE_VBAP.
S_BAPE_VBAP-VBELN = W_VBAP-VBELN.
S_BAPE_VBAP-POSNR = W_VBAP-POSNR.
S_BAPE_VBAP-ZZORDCOFL = W_VBAP-ZZ_ORDCOFL.
LW_EXT_STRUCTURE-VALUEPART1 = S_BAPE_VBAP.
This will make sure the BAPE_VBAP is extended with the Z fields..

I cant create a book in iPhoto 5.0.4 - both the add new book button and the new book command in the menu are greyed out!
I have rebooted, checked permissions, etc, etc...all the usual.

Cant create connection Pool for MS SQL Server 2000 with Microsoft Driver

i am using bea weblogic server 6.1, i cant create connection pool while using MS
SQL Server 2000. i have installed JDBC Driver SAP1 from microsoft website. when
i give the following class name for JDBC driver and the connection url and click
apply while selecting the available server, a number of exception appears in default
server (that is the connection pool cannot be created..... cannot load the driver
class).

Driver= com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
when i use the above setting in a JDBC simple application in Jbuilder
7.0 the application runs successfully and fetches the data deom MS SQL database
but in at Bea connection Pool is not created with these settings. i do give appropriate
username and password in properties field in connection pool. Thankx for any help!

Not able to create item under initiative in SAP PPM thru SAP EP 7.3

We have deployed SAP BP for PPM on SAP EP for PPM. We have created successfully created initiative under the bucket.
Now we are trying to add item under the initiative but the SAP standard webdynpro ABAP application gives error.
Below are the steps we perform on portal:
Under Portfolio and Project Admin --> Portfolio Structure --> Select the bucket --> Select the initiative --> Add item
On the first instance it does not saves the item (no message displyed for Data Saved successfully), on second time click of Save it gives attached error:

I think in the first instance it has saved the item and when you tried second time, item ID is conflicting. So change the item id and check.
At the same time, check whether the item id-11 is linked to initiative after the first instance of save.
