Cant delete active JOB from SM37

Hi guys, i need to delete a job from sm37, when i try to do it the following msg is displayed.
cant delete HR job, the job status is active.
When a job is deleted, a check is made as to whether the job does not
currently have the status 'active' of 'ready'. It would cause
unquantifiable problems if a job with this status was deleted. This
message indicates that the SAP system has already started the job to be
deleted.
any ideas?

Hello,
In SM37 try to stop the job before and if doing it you can't delete the job, go to transaction SM50 and try to stop it here (Process->Cancel withot core).

I cant delete Voip services from E72. i made one mistake, when i tried to delete sip-profile: at first I delete it in net menu. After that when Im trying to delete it , phone return to me message: Service is in use. Cannot edit settings. That problem blocking hard reset, also (say something about active calls and connections, but Cell network and WiFi is inactive).

I have an event scheduled for Wednesday each week, I delete it at end of day. If i delete it on my Macbook Air it deletes fine on my iMac just fine. But if i delete it on my iMac first it stays on my Macbook Air...

Yes and no. AirDrop is used to send a file from one computer to another. A Contact isn't a file so AirDrop isn't the best way to move contacts from one computer to another. If you own both an iMac and MBA and want to keep the two computers synced, the easiest way is to create an iCloud account on both computers. Any calendar event, to do, contact, or note you create on one will sync to the other. If you just bought a MBA and want to move data to it from your iMac you should use Apple's migration assistant. Personally I think the easiest way to migrate is to perform a backup of the old computer to a USB external drive using TimeMachine and then connect the TimeMachine to the new computer and use Migration Assistant.
But can you exchange contacts using AirDrop? Yes. Select the contact(s) you want to transfer, export them as vcards to a temporary folder. Then AirDrop the folder to your MBA. Now run Contacts and then drag the vcards onto the Contacts program icon in the Dock.

Go to Settings > General > Restrictions
Chances are Safari is turned off. Turn it on and you'll have it back.
To delete apps:
Double tap your home button. You'll see the open app icons on the bottom and above each icon a preview page of the open app. With your finger swipe the preview page upwards and the app will close.
EDIT: I misread your last question. The above closes apps, but doesn't delete them. To delete an App, hold your finger on the app until it jiggles. You should see an X on the App. Touch the X and the app should delete.

Deleteing report jobs from the queue

OAS 9.0.2.0.0 on Win2K-sp4, Client Win2K-sp4.
Many's the time a report job will hang up in the queue preventing other jobs from printing. Using the OEM, I can usually delete all the jobs, except the one that is "active, the one that is hanging up the queue. It always gives me an authentication error. I have tried every login/pw combo I can think of without success. I am always forced to restart OC4J_BI_Forms to dump the queue. Any suggestions?

What I have done is create a new reports server/queue from the command line. It runs as a Windows process and can be restarted from there. Clunky, but I don't have to kill Forms everytime there's a queue hang up.

I guess you meant buying something. You can't cancel something you bought. Why would you since you can preview anything before purchase? If you have an issue with your download or a technical issue with your purchase, you can always contact AppleStore support.

Cant delete old Quicktime from my computer.

I am not very computer savvy, but I thought this would be a snap. I just bought this computer used, and went to download iTunes and Quicktime for my Ipod. When I get to the end of the installation, it says that it can't remove my old version of Quicktime and therefore can't complete the installation. I tried myself to go delete it, and it tells me "access denied". Can anyone help me get this off my computer so I can install the newer version? Thanks!!

TS3899 Cant delete email address from iPhone

I added an email to my iPhone by following a link that was text messaged to me for work. It did not set up the email properly and to retry GoDaddy says i need to delete the email account from my phone......problem is...there is no delete option at the bottom like there is for my other email accounts. Maybe because this one came from a link that prepopulated the data...and do it wrong which is why It doesnt work!

Hi maryamss, the iPhone never really deletes things it just hides it from the system sounds like something has gone askew. Have you tried a hard restart? Hold the Home and Power buttons down together, keep them held until the phone shuts of and you then see the apple symbol may take up to 20 seconds. It is then safe to release the buttons. Failing this restoring your phone with iTunes should sort it out.

Delete scheduled jobs from previous days

I look after a Business Objects server that runs about 400 reports per day.
Over the weekend the CMC stopped, nothing was reported in the logs, no attemps at restarting occured. But this isn't the problem.
When I restarted the CMC it started up with no problems, but in the
Instance Manager, it has started running the scheduled reports from the
day it stopped (Sunday the 4th May). It looks like it'll work through
all of the scheduled reports from Sunday, then Monday, before it gets
to today (Tuesday).
Is there any way I stop it from running the scheduled reports from
Sunday and Monday, and just have it run Tuesdays reports? Any help
would be gratefully recieved.

Nope. You can't get that, if house keeping jobs are scheduled.

Re-planned jobs from DDIC which have deleted with program RSBTCDEL

Hi Experts,
I deleted jobs planned by the DDIC from transaction db13 by mistake.
When you run the job scheduled for the day that is planned, the job status remains "Released./Susp." and it doesn't work. Since the transaction db13, the state is scheduling the planned action failed.
Someone can tell me how I can re-planned the job for executed from the scheduler (db13)?

;Released./Susp.' status is due to the fact that someone might had run BTCTRNS1 report in this sap system. That's why the jobs are suspended temporarily. It might happen that all other jobs are suspended too, not just db13 related jobs in this system. So to reset the jobs' status you execute BTCTRNS2.
However, as you have deleted the jobs from DB13 then better reschedule them from DB13 itself instead of trying to execute them from SM37.

Double click on the active job and click job details button. From here note the application server and process id(PID) for the job.
Now go to transaction SM51 and double click on the application server name . you will get a list of jobs executing on that server. Select the job checkbox and goto menu Process->Cancel without core. Now come back to Sm37 and check , the job will be cancelled.
Sometimes it does not get cancelled or still shows the active status because it does not fully get diconnected from the process id. So you can check the job from SM37 by going to SM37 and goto menu Job-> check active job.it will make corrections to the job.
