Cant delete email from email folder

I got an email in my inbox with a tick by it that i cant delete its also saved in my saved messages folder and i cant delete it fromn there either its so annoying can anyone help PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE

Cant Delete Photos from Picture folder

I'm having a problem with deleting pictures on my BlackBerry Q10, it displays a message that says "The items) could not be deleted, i tried deleting from File Manager, they disappeared from file manager but they still show up under photos, when I try to open them they won't open. I even tried multiple times restarting the Device by holding the power off button for long time till the red light blinks. I cn see those photos when i open the picture folder and when i click on those photos them it shows blank. This problem is with few photos only on particular days. I tried the same code. I was able to delete a file where the owner was 'oracle' , and got the same error you have mentioned while trying to delete a file of another user with wrong permissions.

I am using Oracle Database 10g on Linux OS
I want to delete some file using PL-SQL for that I have written following program.
DECLARE
fileHandler UTL_FILE.FILE_TYPE;
BEGIN
UTL_FILE.FREMOVE ('MY_DIRECTORY','my_filet.txt');
EXCEPTION

dbms_output.put_line('error is = '||sqlerrm);

but when I execute this I get a error message as
error is = ORA-29283: invalid file operation
but the Directory Name and File name are valid, though the error is there .Why?

If you are using Apple's Mail app 6.5 is the latest version irrespective of what a previous poster says. It does sound though that you are using a gmail account online via a web browser. Please confirm and fill in missing information.

2) Go to "Mailbox" then click "Archive Mailbox"

I "cut" emails from a folder, went to "paste" them in another and mail quite now I cannot find those emails

I "cut" some emails from one folder, went to "paste" them in another email folder and the program quit. When reopened mail app, could not paste emails into folder. HOW DO I FIND THESE EMAILS PLEASE. I can unhide my folder in Library, but cannot unhide it when searching Time Machine. Any help is appreciated.

AFTER WORKING ALL DAY ON THIS I FOUND IT!!!
once in Time Machine find the time before your error occurred,
go to:
Library
          MAIL folder
               V2 folder (do not know what this is for but keep going)
                    MAILDATA folder
                         BackupTOC.plist
This is where I found my emails that I "cut" and when I went to "past" them into another folder the mail app quit.

Make sure these are the emails you are looking for. Right click on the BackupTOC.plist and Restore. Write down the name of the file you are restoring to. You may need to create a new file to hold recovered files.
I am now working on how to move emails from temporary holding folder back into mail.app.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Correct. There is only one photo and it is in the camera roll. The folders you create are just a way to organize the pics. it does not create a duplicate pic.
Just as a song is in your library and a playlist, a pic is in the camera roll and the folder.
If you delete a song from the library, then it is gone. The same is true of pics.

I wonder if you are seeing your iTunes in the Cloud purchases. The items you see with the iCloud icon next to them are purchased songs that you can stream from iTunes in the Cloud. You can hide these songs in Settings on the iPhone:
Just show music that’s been downloaded from iCloud: Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music.

If there are just specific songs you would like to hide, you can hide them using the iTunes Store on your computer:
To hide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.
Go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right side of the iTunes Store.
Choose a content type by clicking on Music, TV Shows, Apps, or Books from top.
Hover your cursor over the item you want to hide.

Is there an easy way to mass delete the emails from the trash folder?

In your settings>mail>account>advanced, there is a way you can set it to self delete after 1 day. This is the earliest setting to self delete the mails. If you need to delete all of them right away. Just open one of the mails and press the trash can icon at bottom. It automatically opens the next mail and you can just sit there thumbing the trash can until all are gone. Works for me, both ways.

I have hada Droid phone for about 6 months. When I delete emails from my inbox it goes to a "trash" file (similiar to trash file in Outlook). It is getting full. LG Ally - deleting pop3 emails from trash folder

I have three pop3 email accounts set up on my LG Ally. All work great - however, deleting the all the emails in the trash folder is cumbersome. Is there a way to delete all the emails in the "trash folder" at one? I can only seem to delete them by tapping each email individually and then tapping delete. This is a really slow process.
Also, is there a way to adjust my pop3 email settings so that the trash folder is deleted automatically every so often?

There is not a delete all option to delete all the emails at once for the default email application. You also can not set a schedule to delete the trash folder. There are other email applications with more customization options on the Android Market Place.

How do you erase email from "trash" folder???

Is there some way to erase email from the "trash" folder beside having to delete each one singularly. That means to get rid of email you have do each one TWICE. On my I touch there is a button to erase all at once. Not on PALM that I can find.

Moved an email from Archive folder and it's disappeared...

I read that moving an email from Archive mail folder (done on my iPhone) deletes the email from icloud's server - can I get this back??!! :-(

The only folder that email will "disappear from" is the trash folder, which can be set to delete email after specific intervals. With all other folders, email is left indefinitely.
With an IMAP or Exchange account, the folders can be accessed from from other devices and moved or deleted.
Note that with Exchange accounts, there may be limitations set by the IT dept, but there are no settings on the phone to control that.
