Cant delete volume. Unexpected error 9407...it says I have a snapshot??

Hi All:
I had a snapshot. I am trying to delete a db_volume (I have too many volumes and the used space means I can get rid of a few volumes).
When I try to from dbmcli, it says :
ERR
-24988,ERR_SQL: SQL error
-9407,System error: unexpected error
Drop data volume failed - a snapshot exists
But I have already deleted the snapshot and none exists according to me and the dbm gui tool. I have tried recycling all the states and restarting the whole OS but still same error.
Please help.

I have already tried to do a new snapshot, then deleted it and re-attempted the db_dropvolume.....still same error.
the select * from snapshots give me an empty table. (If I try the temporary creation of a snapshot then it does give me the one row coming back but after I delete this it comes back with no rows found.....but the volume dropping is still not successful with the same error)

Cant empty trash unexpected error -8003

If this is any different to people who have had this error from deleting Time Machine backup - this was from deleting the files in pubsub's feeds folder:
After finding that pubsubagent had filled a folder with 5 million files - ! - I sent them to the trash. Now the trash refuses to empty.
- regular or forced (option key) Empty trash counts the 3.3 million files, doesn't delete any of them, and finally says:
The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003).
I tried Secure empty - this appears to work, but of course slowly - at 1 second per file will take 6.2 years...
I tried a script called Trash It! - it unlocked and changed permissions on the files in the trash - took 24 hours. It didn't delete them, though - just stuck.
Similarly, Onyx - completetion bar goes most of the way and then just gets stuck.
I also found a terminal command to empty and delete the entire trash folder and then recreate it. That used the rm command, but seemed to be going very slowly or stuck - also left for 24 hour.
Is there anything I can do to empty this trash?

Pages has frozen on ipad. I cant use it. I cant delete app. Each time i try i have to reboot ipad. Numbers and keynote are same

I have not used pages, keynote, or numbers on iPad for a while. Used to work fine. Ipad works fine on all other apps. Now when i try to open pages i just get blank screen and it hangs. No documents displayed. No network activity indicated. Just hangs. Have rebooted several times. No change. Have tried to delete pages app (so i can reinstall) but that freezes ipad completely. I have to reboot (using power button and home button) to get access to ipad again. Numbers and keynote have gone the same.

Just to further clarify. In Settings the Restrictions are not limiting anything. They are not enabled. When I attenpt to delet any app they all start shaking (like normal with the little cross displayed) but when you select on for deletion the ipad freezes for several minutes then reboots. It is a 64G iPad with 25G free space. I have many apps on it and they all work fine. Just Pages, Keynote, and Numbers that have stopped working. When you start them they go to a grey (pre start up) screen with no buttons. Then after a few minutes the ipad reboots.
Note I'm on 6.1.3 not 6.1.4 !!!!!!!!!

all you have to do is go to your account in Itunes, and de-authorised all compouter once that process is done you can authorised new computer.

Have you tried toggling your FTP settings?

7.2 Update Fails: "unexpected error"

QT Update to 7.2 fails with:
"The update "QuickTime" can't be installed."
"Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred."
I have tried fixing permissions/files on the disk, removing the previous QT version, and have uninstalled Flash.
Still no install...
Ideas?

I used Software Update to attempt the 7.2 install. I have also tried to install by opening the QuickTime720.pkg file.
Not very informative...just says there were errors during the installation and that I should try again.
Perhaps there is a log file for the install somewhere?
In desperation I deleted the existing Quicktime.app folder. Mistake?

AME CC 2014: "Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue."

Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 on MacPro "mid-2012" (MacPro5,1) running OSX 10.9.3 and getting this error when trying to launch Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014:

Have uninstalled, reinstalled. Checked and fixed permissions numerous times. Tried removing all plugins and that didn't fix. Also tried editing the text listings within the .app for OpenGL and CUDA to remove all cards listed - that didn't fix anything either.
At this point it's uninstalled and "hopefully" everything will point to CC (non-2014 version). Adobe Media Encoder CC works fine. Adobe Media Encoder CS6 works fine.
Cannot find any other reports of this issue.

Progress in trying to fix. This workaround was NOT successful on previous attempts, but now appears to be working. Seems like the trick was to have AME CC 2014 started and open BEFORE doing any of this? As always, make sure all of your permissions are set properly - had done that numerous times previously. My issue was NOT directly permission related.
Navigate to the following folder:
You may see a file SHORTCUT that is invalid called "Presets":
Remove/delete this file. It's a broken shortcut.
Move a folder of .EPR files into the "8.0" folder. Call it anything except "Presets". Go to AME CC 2014 and quit. (I was greeted with another crash message.)
Open AME CC 2014 again. Your presets will not be loaded yet, but you should see an XML file that was created in your new folder like this:
Delete this file.
You should see a new folder also created by AME called "Presets". Move your .EPR files into this folder and delete the original folder. Quit AME CC 2014. (I was greeted with ANOTHER crash message.)
Open AME CC 2014. Your preset files should be there at the top under the preset browser:

Sync "Unexpected Error and must close" ERROR

Tried using desktop 4.6 and 4.3.
New Dell PC with XP Pro
whenever you try to sync data files or configure sync, I get an unexpected error and it says it must close the program.
Any help would be appreciated

I assume you attempted to include a screenshot? In order to post a screenshot to the forum you have to do so within the browser UI to the forum. E-mail attachments are stripped. They don't make it to the form.

I cant delete a favourite

Hi,
I have a contact that I blocked that is in my favourites list. I cant delete that person from my favourites. I have tried unblocking them but still cannot delete them, it will disappear for a second or 2 but reinstate itself in my favourites. How can I delete it? Thanks

Relaunch the Finder, then from the Finder menu bar, select

Try again to empty the Trash.

I am trying to update iTunes but it says I have an invalid signature

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up").
In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC. Now try another QuickTime install. Does it go through properly this time?
