anyone can help me? i wont my user use CC desktop aplication, but dissable menu unavailable. what must i do?

If you change license type from named license to serialnumber license then you have the option to not have the CC desktop application. This is the only way i can see that you can disable the CC app because you include the license in the pakage.
With named license the user logs in into the product to license it.

I'm wondering if I'm having the same issue. When I try to launch the Creative Cloud app, the app appears to launch, but the main area is white.
I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit - all updates are applied.
Here are some things I've tried:
I've tried restarting my computer.
Disabling my firewall/antivirus (Avast)
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app.

Cant see files in creative cloud desktop folder.

Cant see files in creative cloud desktop folder. It has never shown files since I have installed Adobe CC. On browser view I can see folders but those are not getting sync with the local Adobe CC folder. Did anyone face this issue?

Cant install Creativ cloud for desktop

Im starting to get really annoyed.
I have searched every forum and tried everything.
I have renamed oobe folder, shut down computer and so on.
It has been worked perfectly until now. I was gone 2 weeks and when i get back it says there is an update for creative cloud desktop
i press the button the download it, but in the middle it says, creative cloud dekstop cant install
i have a win 7

Everytime creative cloud starts or i want to update a software or get some fonts it says thats an update is needed. If i choose not to update, creative cloud app closes
and if i choose to update, it only gets to half and says that creative cloud for desktop cant be installed

It stands cant install creative cloud for desktop error kod 1 when i try to install creative cloud?

What can i do?

Creative Cloud desktop app totally empty - not even Preferences...?

I have from before Production Premium CS6 and Lightroom 4 installed on my computer (Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB RAM).
I joined then CC Photography Package and after login to my account I went to the DL section to download one of the programs and install it. The Creative cloud desktop app is installed, but it is empty. Not only is there neither a Photoshop CC nor a Lightroom 5 there, there's no menu and if I try to determine the app version as in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-missing-text.html - there's not even a Preferences to select...
I get no error message, and going to the Download center and trying to download Photosgop or Lightroom just gets me a blink of "waiting for creative.adobe.com..." and then focus is changed to the empty Creative Cloud desktop app.
Checking my account I can see that both my product licences for CS6/LR4 are there, as is my CC Photography package.
I can add that I have restarted the system, reinstalled the Creative Cloud app and tried other things I can think of. But I still only get an empty Creative Cloud app, without a possibility to login to my Adobe account.

The Browse in Bridge option in PS CC 2014 doesn't launch Bridge, but instead opens the window of the Creative Cloud desktop app instead. This behaviour is on both Mac and Windows.

I recently installed all the of CC 2014 applications and noticed that in Photoshop CC 2014, when I choose the "Browse in Bridge" menu option it doesn't launch Bridge at all. Instead it opens the Creative Cloud desktop application window instead. I have the latest version of Bridge installed as well. If I have Bridge running, the menu option also just opens the CC window and doesn't bring Bridge to the front either. I have PS installed on both a Mac (10.9.3) and Windows (8.1) and the behaviour is the same.

I only Run windows and my install of CC 2014 works correctly and launches Bridge CC. Bridge CC was also updated to launch CC 2014 and not CC 14.2.1.

Installing Creative Cloud Desktop but I got Error 13 an issue permission on my MacBookPro, why?

Dear Adobers,
I bought my Creative Cloud plan, and I'm going to download and Installa the Creative Cloud Desktop App before getting all the CC softwares I need. But when I download the "CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg" on my new MacBookPro Retina with OS Lion 10.8.4 and I start the procedure, the package during the installation ask me for my Mac account password to make some changes... after then it show me an error message: Error 13... something related to a permission issue in writing in a folder for cookies.

PS: I have tried all suggestions found in this forum... verifying permission with Utility Disk, writing in the Terminal the codelines suggested, creating a new user on my mac etc... nothing worked for me!

Hi Romit,
thanks to Maurizio (Apple Store Business, Firenze - Italy) I got the right fix to the issue I found during the installation of the #CreativeCloud Desktop App.
So, when while installing the CC Desk App, we got the "Error Starting Creative Cloud - cookies dir: cannot make folder /cookies: Permission denied (error 13)" alert message pop-up, we are experiencing a problem in folders Read&Write permission with our Administrator User account on our Mac.
Well, before fix this issue, we need to uninstall the CC Desk App and we have to know that the #CreativeCloud Desktop App is trying to make a "cookies" folder at this path (in our Mac):
/Macintosch HD/Users/[your user]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/
The issue: the App has no permissions to create the /cookies/ folder inside the /Adobe/ folder - So, we just have to fix the permissions for /Adobe/ folder giving our Administrator User Account a "root access" to that folder!
Press and hold the Alt/Option key while clicking "Go" in the Finder menu (that's how the usually hidden user ~/Library/ folder will appear listed in this menu); click that folder Library, and select the /Application Support/Adobe/ folder by one-click on it; Then click the Command key + i key (cmd+i) to Get Info about that folder.
Go to "Sharing & Permissions" area at the bottom of the window, unlock it at the bottom right corner of the window and give to all the names listed "Read&Write" permissions.
Finally, click on the little gear symbol at the bottom of the window to apply changes to all the items inside the folder. Lock it again and close the window.
Reinstall the #CreativeCloud Desktop. Now it will run properly!

Creative cloud desktop

Hi there,
I have installed the creative cloud desktop but the window shows only a blank white screen - nothing is displayed although if i move the cursor around the window i can see that there are active buttons as the cursor icon changes to a hand. But with no display shown i cant select any apps to download.

I have just signed up for the CS6 cloud package. As a teacher, I've paid for the Student or Teacher arrangement. However, I have not been able to download and install any of the applications. My first attempt was to download Acrobat from the website downloader; the system went throught the motions of installing the Application Manager app, but failed even though the icon was installed on my desktop. So I tried by installing the Creative Cloud desktop app. The installation seemed successful, but a cannot even get to see the apps and get a Download Error message!

Creative Cloud Desktop refuses to work properly...

OK, so I decided to try this CC thing. Ordered the subscription; went to the website to try and download an app.... It instead changed my app download to CC Destop install.pp installs, and bounces up a sign-in window on completion. I sign in.... Bang, it crashes...
On chat for a really long time with support... moving folders to desktop, renaming files, renaming folders, killing processes in Task Manager, using the Creative Cleaner.... yadda, yadda.
No work... On reinstall, same failure, same message... although I did make it to the License Screen this time after signing in before it crashed with the "Windows... problem... Close Program" error.
Chat support guy says he thinks I should create a NEW Windows user and reinstall.... gives me a case number and bails offline out of the chat sess
So... OK... I guess I have to do this by myself? So...
I do as he says... create new user, reinstall... SAME results... EXACTLY....
So... I get pissed and serious. I scrub the computer of any/every reference of ANY Adobe product whatsoever using the Creative Cleaner and various other IT Tools I own (I do this for a living folks).
NOW.... I have a scrubbed clean disk, registry, et al... no reference of Adobe whatsoever to be found. I install the Creative Cloud Desktop...
When it pops up, I try to fool it by NOT signing in immediately.... I cold reboot the computer to make SURE the install is complete, et al.
On reboot, I open CC (it's already open in the Task Bar at lower right). I sign in... yea, no crash. I agree to the license... Awesome, no crash.
I ACTUALLY see the screen where I can tell it that I want to download an app.... for a second...
CRASH!!! SAME crash messages...
I would LIKE to get this resolved...

OK... so I just spent an hour+ on chat with Mohammed, and we made some progress.
Good news is that we got the CC Desktop App working and I am downloading Acrobat XI.
Bad news is that to get it to work, I have to uninstall my Intel HD Graphics 4600 display controller AND delete the drivers at the same time, which does at least 3 things:
Makes the Intel COntroller revert to using VGA plain Jane driver...
It makes it impossible for me to access my AMD Radeon 8790M graphics controller for app switching to high performance graphics.
It also apparently disables my High Definition Audio Device.... <apparently, the Intel Graphics and the High Def Audio are tied together somehow>
Now... here is some background. WITH the Intel driver package installed for the HD 4600, CC Desktop fails and the Event Viewer shows the following error information:
It appears that CC Desktop wants to use C:\Windows\system32\igdumdim32.dll, but the problem is that this .DLL file does not exist at this location, and it is NOT bound to the Intel Display Controller.
System 32 has the 64-bit version of that DLL, "igdumdim64.dll". The called DLL does exist in the SysWOW64 directory.
I am not smart enough to know how all this works exactly, but it is obvious that this is a "don't play well together" between the CC Desktop application and the Intel driver package.
None of my other x86 applications are having ANY issue with the display drivers... only CC Desktop.
It is NOT acceptable to have to use the basic VGA driver to make this work, and sacrifice the use of my Radeon and grap[hics performance on all of my other apps just to use this Creative Cloud subscription.
IF this can't be fixed promptly, I will have to cancel my subscription....

Named Licence (Trial) must have Creative Cloud Desktop Application with CCP?

Hi,
We're using an education agreement for deployment of Adobe desktop applications, and previously, we created a trial or now named license to deploy the applications to our SOE, and then used a license package (after imaging) to licence the software.
In past versions of CCP the desktop application wasn't forced onto the machine, but it appears that it is now? How can I prevent this? Our users aren't using the desktop application to sign in, we are using the license package.
Is there another way to create a trial package (sans desktop app)?

We're moving more and more of the essential shared componentry around activation and named user deployment, as well as software and asset acquisition, into Creative Cloud Desktop app. Making Creative Cloud Desktop app mandatory allows us to streamline the user experience around login, activation, and service access, as we don't need to replicate this work everywhere. This will be critical, for example, for CC Libraries, CC Assets, AEM Assets, and other core CC capabilities and their integration with the desktop and mobile tools.
hence, creative cloud desktop app is mandate for Named license user.

Creative Cloud desktop update keeps failed to install

I try to update the creative cloud desktop but, it keep failed to in still

Tried all solutions referred here and in other threads: (1) downloading tne installer from CC download area, (2) changing the name of given folders, (3) uninstalling CC desktop, (4) removing residual data with CC cleaner tool, and (5) changing user privileges in Application support folder.
None worked.
I also analysed the error log. It shows the error "DW040", which only reference in knowledge base points to an issue with third-part programming to CS. After using the Cleaner tool, I found another log reporting "AAM installation ended with return code 251", but again the knowledge base knows nothing about it.
So we are going to the sixth day of problem without a solution. I cannot install other apps from my subscription without CC desktop app, although I am paying the whole price (just installed PS, MU and ID). Adobe is forcing me to lost several hours just trying solutions –and the same is going with many other users – besides not being able to use what I paid for.
I would expect a new CC desktop version to address these issues, but even this is quite uncertain. After searching in forum and knowledge base, I found several references to similar installation errors with CS6. Since then, Adobe not only was unable to fix this issue but also released a new package (CC) with tons of marketing investment but without equivalent attention to user support and app testing.
Very very frustrating.
