Cant download a cd I bought

It keeps saying it cant download the songs, "An unknown error occured (-50)
Under the download screen, to the right under status it says "stopped (err = -50)
What the heck does this mean? I want the songs I bought =(

A false "disk full" warning can result from moving a Safari download between folder while it's in progress. Is that what you did?

Even a four-year-old MacBook should have come with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Leopard can run the latest version of iTunes; it will download and install pretty much automatically if you run Software Update.
You might first have to be sure that you are running the latest version of Leopard, which is 10.5.8. This, too, will download and install for you if you run Software Update. Just keep running Software Update until there is nothing left to download and install (you might have to run it more than once because some updates require previous updates to be installed first).
If you have a version of Mac OS X earlier than 10.5, then you can't run the latest version of iTunes. You will need to buy a more recent version of Mac OS X. You must be running at least 10.4 Tiger, and you can upgrade directly to Snow Leopard from Tiger. I bought just my iPod touch and wanted to download some apps. I connected my iPod and it asked me to register, I did but didnt put it to my apple account (I think there is the problem). Now I wanted to download some FREE apps but it says I need to log in, so i did with my (never buying something) account.
It said it wasnt an iStore account and it had to, so i was reffered to the registration page were i only had to add some bank info. I DONT HAVE VISA ETC.. So, now I cant download FREE apps.. =( :'(

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is apparently critical. Note as well that this only applies to the App Store; to the best of my knowledge, you will not be able to get any of the free content in the iTunes Store without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.) This also seems to come and go, or only apply to App Stores in specific countries, so you may not see the option for "None" when asked for a payment type. If there is no "none", then you won't be able to open an account without a credit card or iTunes prepaid card.

It all ticks off in my itunes, books and audiobooks, but nothing shows on my phone? Theres no audiobooks section? This happened on my husbands phone too (also a 4S) He has bought audiobooks on his ipad, but they will not show in his itunes or sync onto his phone. Hi, I'm having problems dowloading certain previous music purchases. I can see the name of these songs in my library and even have a download cloud beside it, but cant access them. I bought a lot of music in the UK before moving to Australia, would that make a difference?

I've got all my music still on a PC at my parents home in the UK, next trip home i will put it onto a portable hard drive. I only took my music out on my Ipod at the time, but of course you cant retrieve music from there. Thanks for your help. It was annoying me i could see the names of the songs on my play list but couldn't access them.

Changed apple-id, now cant download apps

Hi, I've just recently changed my apple-id via the apple website (manage your apple-id) pages and the edit/change button next to your apple-id.
After I did the change I cant seem to download the updates or new apps from apple app store.
The message I get is that the apps arent approved by my apple-id, they are already connected to another apple-id and will be visible under the bought tab under that id.
The thing is, since Ive changed the apple-id I can no longer login to my old one that the apps are connected to.
I know that you cant create a new apple-id and hope to transfer everything over, but I thought that you could change it through the apple website.
Does anyone know what Im doing/done wrong? is it supposed to work this way?

@icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com"
So I guess the term for it is changing the primary emailaddress for your apple-id ?
Here's the deal, full story:
I bought a used Macbook Air for my sis the other week. She hasnt had any contact before with Macs or OSX. She uses her iphone4s only with her apple-id. Im whiping the macbook air clean and reinstall the osx using apple recovery tool, everything all good (as usually with macs).. and setting the fresh install up with the same apple-id that she got on her iphone.
And when I try to download the apps that come free with osx mountain lion (iphoto, garageband and some other) I get the "These apps have already been approved for another apple-id and can be downloaded again using that apple-id/account".. But, as Im writing this now, it strikes me :
Are those apps tied to the previous owner of the macbook air and his/her apple-id? so that I cant download them using my/sis's apple-id ? (allthough its a completely new user/owner with a new apple-id)
Back to the problem 1, I guess I've managed to change the primary email address/login for the apple-id, but if the above question is true, that wont help me download the apps from appstore (iphoto, garageband and so on). and I figgured that was because I did change the primary email it got messed up.
Sorry for the long reply, Im trying to go through this as thoroughly as I can.
