Cant download any videos
I can't download any videos my iPhone or iPod from iTunes and I don't get an error message it just won't do anything when I click the price to rent or buy. Any suggestions?? I'm trying to download a movie to watch on a plane tomorrow morning, please help!
What are the errors or messages or diagnostics you're getting when Adobe Flash Player does not work?
Have you downloading the Adobe Flash Player package directly from the Adobe web site? (Don't download anything claiming to be Flash Player from any other web site.) If you've downloaded it from Adobe and it won't install, try deleting the copy you have and re-downloading it.
If you think your disk might be corrupted and you don't have a current backup of your disk, get one.
FWIW and although I don't think this reinstallation is necessary yet, reinstalling OS X and reinstalling the 10.6.8 combo updates does not clobber the contents of the disk, unless you choose to wipe and install.)
FWIW and as an alternative to Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Flash Player isn't necessary for a lot of the content that's posted on YouTube, if you install the YouTube5 Safari extension. This Safari extension causes Safari to request the HTML5 versions of the video, and YouTube has many of the videos encoded and available as HTML5 video, in addition to Adobe Flash Player. (I haven't tried this as far back as 10.6, but I know the extension works on 10.7.)

If so, check if that malware has the "kill-bit" set for Flash Player: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3432049#3432049
If you find that this "kill-bit" is set in your registry, don't remove it manually (unless you are very confident editing the registry); post back here, and someone will post an easy way to remove that "kill-bit". -

Well, let's not wait for the future. Here it is: On Firefox you can download a video helper and install it. That enables you to go any site on the internet with video. If you want to download a video to your desktop, let's say, you look for the swirling rainbow color balls, and next to it is a symbol that when you click on it reveals the video playing. You click the video title, and it is downloaded to your desktop if you so choose that location. Can I do that with Safari? Can I go on the internet and look for the equivalent download helper for mac? I don't want to always download videos using Firefox, though it's very easy....Thanks

Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings. -

I updated Firefox and now Realplayer can't download any videos( download button in upper right corner of video don't pop up and there is no download option if I right click) if I use Internet explorer it works fine, I also went in to make sure I had it checked to pop up it is?! So it's not just youtube for me its all videos!

hi there , I have Ipad 2. just upgraded to OS 5.1 and now cant transfer any videos to it. videos already stored can be played but when i try to copy any new video, it says that the video cannot be played by Ipad.I have tried mp4, mov, m4v but nothing plays.
Log in to the Developer forum. You will find instructions on how to install the lastest beta. Your problem is the beta you have installed has expired. All of them did on October 5; you will find hundreds of threads discussing this. If you have a beta it is assumed that you will continue as a beta tester, so a simple update using iTunes will not work.
If you no longer want to be a beta tester install the GM 7.0.2 by restoring from iTunes using DFU mode. -

Have you been able to successfully import these videos into iTunes? If so, use iTunes built in converter to convert it to a more iTunes friendly format. To do this, highligh the video and choose "Create iPhone or iPod version" from the Advanced drop down menu in iTunes.
When it has finished converting, try syncing the new version to your Nano.
