Cant download iMovie update 9.0.8

I have only just bought my iMac and it came with Mountain Lion installed, when i finished set up the App Store showed 1 update - iMovie 9.0.8. Everytime I try to download the update a message appears saying "You have updates available for other accounts, to update this application sign in to the account you used to purchase it", but i only have one account? If I sign out and sign back in and then try to install the update it says I need to buy the app first, however it then wont let me buy it.
Please help I have tried looking for a solution online but nothing yet!

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Download on computer and then sync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

No, the problems are still here... I've been able to update some apps using the PC itunes (connecting the app to it), but all the other apps are still "wating", and I have two new strange things:
* I cannnot remove the apps that are downloading (at least those that are supposed to be downolading ) . But I could remove one from the PC... and now there is an "empty line" in the "to update apps list".
* Stranger: though I cannot download new apps or music from the store, I can do in-app purchases!!! In that case, I'm asked for the password and the item downloads. How is it possible?????

Based on the numerous posts regarding iTunes and the App Store, there appears to be an issue at Apple's end. Although Apple has not provided any indication on the cloud status page.

Then you must have setup an Apple ID that requires the use of a credit card and something probably needs to be updated on the credit card. Perhaps the card has expired and you need to enter the new expiration date.
You can update payment information in Settings>iTunes & App Stores. Tap your ID. Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go to Payment Information and tap the arrow in that field to go to a window where you can update the card information. Make sure that the billing address, expiration date and security code are correct.
If that's not what you are talking about, explain what is happening. Provide detailed information about what is going on.

I would recommend you purchase iLife 11 on disk.
You will have the disk as a backup, and later you can sell it if you uninstall it from your computer.
Presently, iLife 06 goes for about $100. ILife 11 about half that amount.

You don't have to go to an Apple store. The iPad was bought new (and since 1st September 2013), and you are using the same account that you originally used to set up the iPad ?
If the iPad had iOS 8 on it when you bought it and it's capacity is 32 gig or larger then it should have been pre-installed on it when you bought it.
If not then try logging out of your account by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if the app then shows as free in the store.

Go to the iTunes app, and under "More", you will probably see something there that is pending download. Nothing will be able to be downloaded until the iTunes queue clears.

Failed checksum when downloading iMovie update from Apple support

I have been trying multiple times to download the iMovie 9.0.6 update, but on each and every occasion I get the errormessage "failed checksum" when trying to install it. What should I do?

I have a Macbook pro unibody 13 mid 2010, I made the firmware update too, the day after I had suddenly my computer freezing when I was watching videos on youtube. I tried to restart it, and it was stucked to a white screen. I tried all the possible solutions, : SMC reset multiple times, NVRAM/PRAM reset multiple times.
I tried to reinstall the system from the dvd, and from a USB key : Impossible to install it as no hd was showing up in the list of availaible drives. I tried the online restoration. Tried with another hd with lion on it. The only thing that worked was to launch the system from an external usb drive, when it was launched, the wifi and bluetooth cards were not working (no cards).
I tried to launch the same hd with lion on it on another macbook (no firmware updates made on this macbook), and the wifi and the bluetooth was working fine on it.
I really do believe that this update has something to do with my problems, and expect from Apple to fix them

Cant download itunes update dur to Unknown Publisher - please help!!!

Please help me I don't know what to do next. When I try to update itunes it downloads but then comes up with a message telling me download failed due to unknown publisher. I tries following advice from another post but this didn't work.

We (the one's of us who are troubleshoting the error) think it's something to do (in some cases) with the network settings on certain kinds of network setups (possibly if you're connecting to a LAN which has an internet gateway, rather than, say, connecting wirelessly to a router plugged into a DSL or Cable modem.
