Cant download more than one podcast on my iPhone

Hi,
It seems that I cant have more than one podcast on my iPhone: I downloaded one OK (e.g. episode 1), then went to "Get More Episodes...", which took me to the correct page on the iTunes store, tapped on the arrow for a second podcast (e.g. episode 2). The download seems to proceed and complete as normal, but then the arrow reappears and the podcast is nowhere to be found on my iPhone. I tried several times, to no avail. As a test, I deleted episode 1 from my iPhone, and then downloaded episode 2, which worked just fine. If I then try to download episode 1 again (with episode 2 already on the phone), the problem re-occurs. So it seems as if there is a hard limit on only one podcast on my iPhone. I also tried downloading podcasts from other sources and the problem remains. I dont think it is a space issue as I have about 1GB left on my iPhone and each podcast is about 50MB. I have tried a soft reset, but again that didnt help.
Can anybody help?

Hi. First make sure you have the latest phone update (menu-settings-phone-phone mgmt-device updates-options-check for updates).Next, the Nokia c6-00 only has 128mb of RAM. Approx 80mb is needed to run the device. So that does not leave much for running APPs. When you run an APP you need to close it by using the exit command on the left. If you exit via right it leaves the APP open. Not all open APPs are visible when you press and hold the middle button. Download App Stop from Nokia Store.I have it as a homescreen widget. I use it all the time to ensure I have closed an APP after leaving it. Also I switch off then reboot my phone each week. After it has settled down I use App Stop to close all APPs opened on boot up usually contact, clock etc.(Use once then again just to be sure.) Another good APP is Ergo's MemInfo which shows exaclty how much RAM is being used, you will need to Google for this APP. RamInfo is a more basic APP which is free from Nokia Store. ITunes is not downloading more than one Podcast at a time.

Since two updates ago, when I select multiple podcasts and update them to download the latest episodes, iTunes will only download one at a time. It will show multiple in the "Downloads" window, but it will only actually download them one at a time. The "Allow Simultaneous Downloads" box is checked, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes.

That sounds like a classic case of the Podcast provider limiting the number of simultaneous downloads to one only. As I asked the original poster; are these Podcasts from the same programme, or even from the same radio station network?

Again, classic symptoms of a Podcast provider limiting the number of simultaneous downnloads. Although this isn't proof, that it's the provider, the question needs to be asked.
I find it extrememly unlikely that cmhogan's suggestion would give you any different results, because the request is simply made in a different way, the queue is the same.

How do i get my ipod touch to download more than one app at a time, can i make it toware i dont have to wait for one app to download before it starts downloading another,

my ipod will only download one app at a time and runs extremely slow. i was wondering if there is some way that i can make it download more than one app at a time and how can i make the app start downloading again after i have left my wi-fi zone and then went back in. im really confused.

Download everything on your computer in iTunes, then sync your iPod to iTunes.
You should be syncing (backing up) to iTunes and your photo app regurally, anyway.

Can I download more than one application, with the free trial?

I'm interested in Illustrator and Photoshop, more immediately. However, will possibly be looking at a full individual subscription, at a later time. Is it possible to download more than one application, for a free trial, at a time?

I have installed on SAP Business One SBO 2007 SP00 PL49 the Crystal Reports Basic 2.0.0.7.
i have defined two users, manager and supervisor.
I have defined two groups, M and S.
Manager belongs in managers (M), and supervisor is assigned to the supervisors (S).
i enter to one report, disable the public option to enable group authorization, and then check M group.
Manager can see the report, but Supervisor is not allowed. So far good.
Then i uncheck M, then check S in the report properties, and Manager cant get in, supervisor opens the report, So far good.
But when we check both Groups or more, only the M group authorization appears to work, and S group users cant acess, even the report is allowed for that group, also happens with all the groups appart the first (2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.).
It seems that a report can manage a single group, but i have to be shure to tell this to the customer.
So far we have included all Manager users to the S group in order that only S group is used and authorized users can use, but this is duplicating user participation in groups, and it would be much easier to check the desired groups for a single report.

Downloading more than one trial?

I'm just wondering if I can download more than one trial.
I downloaded a free trial of Elements 11 but would also like to try photoshop CS6. Can I have both of them on my computer at the same time and will you allow for more than one trial at the same time? Do I have to wait until my trial period is over with Elements 11 before I can try CS6?

You can install and try both software at the same time. The trial period begins once you launch the software for the first time.

Download more than 10 podcasts?

Is it possible to set the podcast updates to download more than the most recent 10 podcasts? I listen to a show that splits their podcasts into 12 segments, but only the 10 download...

if a new episode is out before I download the one
from two weeks ago I have to tell it to get the older

It seems that I have solved my issue by performing a full factory reset (erasing all content, something which I had hoped to avoid) restoring from an iCloud backup did not alleviate the issue, I had to set up as a new iPad.
Hopefully anyone else else who has this issue in the future will be able to find this.

Can't turn up the volume on more than one podcast ITunes 11.1.1

This also happened in Itunes 11.1 but when I am in list view and select all podcasts to set the volume between 95 and 100 percent when I choose Get Info a message comes up, "Your selection contains more than one kind of media. All items must be the same kind of order to view or edit them together." I have maybe 1 or two video podcasts but mostly all of them are audio podcasts. I'd like to be able to turn the sound up on all of them at one time like I used to.

Yes, it just took some time to build the waveforms for the second track. I went and got a snack, and when I came back from the kitchen the waveforms were there. Thanks!

ITunes refusing to sync more than one podcast

I'm having a bit of trouble syncing desired podcasts to my new Nano. I'm using manual sync, and if I attempt to add more than one different podcast by dragging, as suggested by iTunes help, the program is nonresponsive and refuses to sync. It's necessary for me to use manual sync, as I need to pick and choose the exact episodes I want. I've found nothing anywhere in help referring to this, anything anyone has to offer would be appreciated.

i have exactly the same problem with my iphone 4. if i create a new ringtone, it will synch temporarily. It gives me enough time to fool me into thinking i've managed to fix it and even allows me to assign the new tones to contacts. I can even synch several times without issue. But give it 24hours and good ole marimba is the default, and all but one ringtone remain.
If it makes any difference, these ringtones are self created using a CD i own and have ripped into itunes, then converted using the itunes method (resize to less than 30s, export to aac, then change the postfix to .m4r and reload).
Also worth noting is that they show up and can be played in the itunes>library>ringtones.
Any help would be oh so appreciated (before i pull any more hair out).

What you have is an alias email address to a primary email account.
You cannot create separate email accounts in Mail that share the same user name, password and incoming mail server due to the account and associated mailbox filing structure at the Finder level. When creating an email account in Mail, an account named folder is created at the first level within the Mail folder at Home > Library > Mail named by the user name and incoming mail server for the account which is why you cannot create multiple accounts that share the same user name and incoming mail server.
To add an alias email address to a primary account, go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and under the Account Information tab for the account preferences at the Email Address field, add the alias email addresses to the email address for the primary account separated by a comma - [email protected], [email protected], etc.
All incoming messages for all email addresses will be deposited in the Inbox mailbox for the primary email account. If you want to separate messages by email address to a user created "On My Mac" location mailbox, you must create the mailboxes first and then create a rule to move messages received by email address.
When composing a message, the alias email addresses will be available via the account pop-up selection window just below the message header.

More than one podcast episode at a time

When a podcaster posts two or three episodes at once (defined as "between times that I launch iTunes"), iTunes only downloads the last one. How can I tell it to download all of them? (Without also retrieving hundreds of ancient episodes as well.)

In 'My podcasts' view, if necessary click 'Show all' at top right, then when it's showing then click 'Add all'. Click on the cloud-with-a-down-arrow icon to the right of each episode to download that episode. You can play any episode without permanently downloading it by double-clicking on it (obviously it uses the same bandwidth as downloading but the file doesn't have to be downloaded first and is not retained after you've listened).

Can't play more than one podcast at a time

Hi folks,
I recently updated my nano so that it would work with the Nike+ accelerometor, and now my podcast playlists only play one podcast and then returns to the root directory. (this problem occurred BEFORE I ever got the Nike doohickey)
Now I need to press the center button in series to move forward to the playlist and play another podcast.
I was able to play podcasts one after another before the recent update.
Has anyone else experienced this and come up a with a workaround?
I like listening to the Onion radio podcasts, and it is quite annoying to have to play each one.

I tried both solutions, and each time only a single entry plays, afterwhich the system returns to the root directory with "music" selected.
I did notice something wierd. If I choose any album except podcast albums, I can click the play button and the album starts to play. If I click on the Onion Radio news "album", nothing happens.
The only way I can get any onion podcast to play is to enter the album (or artist or playlist) and click play on a single entry.
I had been able to play podcast playlists before the most recent iPod updater. I don't know if I need to do some secret reset to get podcasts to play properly.

Can't download more than one iBook created with the same template

I created 3 books in iBooks Author, using the same template. I uploaded these books to my server. I can dowload anyone of them to iPad, but when I try to download the second one, nothing happens: the first I downloaded is still there.
I changed the books name: nothing.
I used other template, 3 books: same problem.
When I created a bookwith other template, it's OK.
iBooks Author: 2.0 (327)
iBooks: 3.0.1 (1223)
iPad: iOS 5.1.1 (the problem also occurs in iOS 6
Mac OS X 10.7.5

this is a new issue.
try saving each book as a template before publishing.
change the new file names slightly and publish from each template file
