Cant download videos..

Hi,
I have been trying to download videos since couple of days now..i did change the ext of the file to the correct format needed for an ipod but still i cant download them..
When i go to mu Ipod properties..Under the vidoes option all the check boxes are diabled and the one which is checked is "Do not update Videos"...How do i cchange that option...plz help......

You need to convert the videos, not just change the file name...
When i go to mu Ipod properties..Under the vidoes

Where are you trying to download from? A web-site? If so, you can't download videos from websites.
Or do you mean you can't sync videos from iTunes? If so, what format are the videos in? Where did they come from?

Cant download video podcasts from Itunes

For some reason I'm having issues downloading video podcasts on itunes although I can download audio podcasts. I just switched computers and moved my itunes download directory, everything seems to work except Video podcasts.
I don't get an error, it says done but no download file shows up, it just keeps the icon GET on the right side.

carlos, I to am having the same issue as you, and it is extremely frustrating!! I can watch the temp file get larger and larger, then once it has finished downloading, it gets removed from the PC! Hopefully someone has an answer.

Does iMovie see it?

Please make sure that you are using Transfer Utility, which is a program that is made by Pixela Corporation. It came with your camcorder along with another program called VideoBrowser.

Which Android did you use before?
YouTube uses a lot of different codecs in their MP4 container. Mobile phones do not support all video codecs, some do support less, some operating system support more. On a personal computer with a tool like MediaInfo, you are able to inpect the content of the MP4 container and which video codec is inside of it actually.

Cant drag video onto ipod downloaded from itunes

Ive been downloading videos from itunes, for example "Joe Cartoon" podcast. I got the first few episodes onto my ipod fine, since then though i cant get videos onto the ipod. They download fine from itunes but when i try to drag them onto the ipod i get the black circle with the line through it. ive checked the info and they are mpeg4. Does anyone else have this problem or have any solutions?!

I only have a few suggestions for you, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to at least try. Have you tried accessing these TV shows outside the playlist they reside in? Just access them from the main list of TV Shows if at all possible or if that isn't what you are doing currently.
It might not hurt to also try to restore the iPod and start from scratch allowing fresh copies of the TV Shows to sync over to your iPod. There may have been a syncing issue that corrupted your TV Shows. If that isn't the case, your iPod is having trouble with the video playback.

Do you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
A 1G can only go to 3.1.3
A 3G only to 5.1.1
