i cannot find my books on my kindle after downloading from open library...
is it because i didnt enter a code into adobe digital before i downloaded
is it because my kindle is not supported by adobe
what is wrong. i want to be able to read my books on my kindle from open library and i cannot.

Kindle does not read epub files. You could try searching the net for a conversion program form epub to mobi. Calibre might do it?

EXCEL document's book size format after downloading from SAP

Dear forumers,
we have developed a user report in ABAP, this report downloads table containing data into Excel. The problem is that the downloaded table is wide and the page format in Excel-document is broad size as default. We need the system to download the table into Excel in book size format by default. How to make it automatically?
To do it every time manually takes time. At the moment we have to go to File -- Parameters -- Page Orientation -- pick Book size, and put the Scale 90%. After that table in Excel fits a book size page.

Music and books not sync after downloading from prurchased

Hello everyone,
I have a problem that I don't undestand.
When I download a previously purchased app in my iPhone, it appears automatically as syncronized in iTunes but when I download even a song or a book, in iTunes it keeps as it is not syncronized and I don't understand it as now that book or song is in both devices, iPhone and Macbook so it should be sync.
Maybe that is a bug or am I doing anything wrong?

I see now that iTunes Match is a solution for music tracks. Does it also include iBooks content. or is there another solution for those books that were not purchased in the iBooks store?
Is there another way altogether to do this, using Dropbox or some other service not provided by Apple?

No, not if our staff is trained to use the newest Adobe Acrobat (trainings are usually for the newest versions) and uses that to produce forms. Now the files open correctly. But what will be in some months or years? Do people working on Linux do have to print the forms then again to fill in?
So do you recommend that we stop the process of producing electronic forms and stay with paper-fill-in forms? Is that the goal of Adobe? (maybe not so clever for your "financial viability"?!?!? ... ein schuss ins eigene bein?!?!)

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Adobe Digital Edition freezes after downloading a book via -acsm file

Hello,
Three hours ago I have downloaded the Adobe Digital Edition (ADE) so that I can read a book for my studies.
I use Win7 on my netbook.
I fully authorized it, downloaded the .acsm file, unblocked it in the properties and opened it with the ADE.
A smaller window popped up saying: Fulfilling[book name] and a progress bar went up to 100%. Then it dissapeared and the ADE froze in a fashion that it can be moved around and minimalized, but nothing else.
Eventually, after about 30min I closed it via task manager.
I've already spent three hours digging through the forums instead of studying so any help is appreciated.

You need to be a little more specific about what trouble you are having.
ADE2.0 is a load of junk, but it can usually download library books ok.
Some suggestsions meanwhile ....
Have you specifically registered your copy of ADE with your Adobe ID?
Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
Try completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your Adobe ID.
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

i was working on a document with pages. while transferring files from USB, the 'pinball' thing popped up for the longest time which lead me to force quit the document. the document had been saved before quitting. however, my macbook starts to reboot, and after rebooting that specific file is missing. Before it quit, it says that the file is locked and asked me to create a duplicate, which i clicked yes to.
