Hi,
Agree with Ed. A checked build Windows is used for debug. Before installing Exchange 2013, please make sure that you use a free build. I'm afraid that you need to reinstall the OS.
What's more, you can refer the following screenshot to determine which Windows build is running. Generally, it should be Free build.
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Amy

  • Want to install Windows XP SP2 but i cant find boot camp assistance

i have a macbook and i want to install Windows XP SP2 but i cant find boot camp assistance in utility folder under applications.

You need to upgrade to Leopard (10.5) in order to use BootCamp.

  • Cant find Boot camp on OS X.

I just ran a spotlight earch for Boot Camp and the only thing it returned was 'BootCamp64.xml'.
I have looked in my utilities folder and it is not there.
Some people have said to insert the install disc and run this code - Volumes/Mac OS X Install Disc 1/System/Installation/Packages. when i run that search it should show a bootcamp package but OS X wont even find that file path.
Can any one help me with this??

    1) Recover the Boot Camp Assistant from a Time Machine backup, or other backup you have.
    2) Copy the app from another Mac running Mavericks (do not use an older version)
    3) If your Mac did not come preinstalled with Mavericks, you can extract it from the Mavericks installer downloaded from the App Store, assuming you saved the installer to another drive.
If you have none of those options available, then a reinstall is the only way to get it back.
Or, to shorten the procedure a bit, and number three applies to you, download the Mavericks installer again and press Command+Q to stop the installation as soon as it starts. The installer will stay in the Applications folder. You can then back it up to an external drive and remove the original in the Applications folder afterwards. Extract the Boot Camp Assistant from the installer.

  • Mid 2010 macbook pro wont boot, cant find hhd

I got a 13' Macbook pro, after a kernal panic, the computer stuck at the same page: u need to restart your computer. Later i run restore disk, but is seems cant find my hhd. Most likely i need to chaneg a new HHD?? I tried to search on apple website how much is the HHD but cant find any info. Is there one had same problem and got their HHD changed? Should I fix it thru apple or should i get the HHD myself and find someone to put it in for me? I am out of warranty. Really need help ~~ Thanks

    Later i run restore disk,
Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
Boot up from the install disc #1.
Run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
    Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
    Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
    Click Repair Disk.
    Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751 and restart your computer.
If you still cannot find your hard drive, Diskwarrior has been known to do so.

Try the Boot Camp Assistant when you are in OS X and download those and follow the directions in BCA utility.
Then look up the Boot Camp forum. I suspect you thought this was MBP related forum, it is for 65 lb tower model (and well the new "nMP Late 2013 Mac Pro" http://www.apple.com/support/macpro/
    Boot Camp
There is a support page too

  • Hi guys i used boot camp and turned my mac into windows and i wanted to play a pc game on the windows and i cant find a proper program to actually setup the game someone help me please

hi guys i used boot camp and turned my mac into windows and i wanted to play a pc game called guild wars 2 and i cant find a proper program to actually setup the game

Only if you decide to share with us your particular situation. Guild Wars should install and run like any other Game. Other than the Game Installer, Games don't need some other installer to make them work. Only someone who reads the instructions for the proper installation.

  • The boot.ini file

Lost my boot.ini file so I can't boot archlinux now (only Windows XP). Will somebody be so kind and post his C:boot.ini file here so that I cat adopt and use it.
    Thanks.

yeah it dont work like the you cant create a .ini file in windows for linux as far as i know
Oh, that does not work that well.
    Here is my boot.ini:
    Code:
    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
    c:grub.ini="ArchLinux"
And here is my grub.ini (which I created):
    Code:
    kernel (hd0,1) /vmlinuz26 root=/dev/discs/disc0/part3 ro devfs=nomount
The grub.ini is from the GRUB boot settings file.
    This does not work, however.
i use lilo or grub to manage my os choices in booting as does most linux users
    try going here
    http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Grub
the arch linux lilo how to is down right now which you can find here
    http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lilo
but there is a link there that leads you to other lilo how to's
all archlinux how to's are found here
    http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Category:HowTos
or if youd like some other boot loader you can check these out
    http://loll.sourceforge.net/linux/links … t_Loaders/
but i would recommend use lilo or grub 1st once you get the hang of them then if you really want try the others or
use the link provided by sh_ that one does work ive used it but didnt stay with it (you have to install a linux boot loader 1st to be able to copy it to windows)
the link provided by phrakture doesnt tell you how or where to get linux.bin but that is how you set up you boot.ini
    linux is all about choices
    enjoy

  • I cant find create a Windows 7 or ... in my bootcamp

i want install windows 8.1 on my macbook pro mid 2010 but i cant find create a Windows 7 or ... in my bootcamp
I have yosemite on my macbook

Your Boot Camp Assistant is prompting you to remove Windows 7 or later version. If on your mac there is already a Boot Camp partition then you need to remove it first and then start the process again.
If you have Windows 7 on it, you might try to upgrade to windows 8: Boot Camp 5.1: Frequently asked questions about installing Windows 8 - Apple Support
There is also one more thing... Your Mac model has a built-in SuperDrive. I might be wrong but the option to create a bootable usb drive from Windows ISO file might be only available for 2012 models of Macs without a SuperDrive. In that case, you might have to Burn your Windows ISO and install it from DVD.

  • Hi. I am trying to use Bridge to make web galleries. There used to be something on PS for that but now I cant find it in PS so I was advised to use Bridge.  However, there is something called Output Module (AOM) that is missing from my Bridge.  I download

Hi. I am trying to use Bridge to make web galleries. There used to be something on PS for that but now I cant find it in PS so I was advised to use Bridge.  However, there is something called Output Module (AOM) that is missing from my Bridge.  I downloaded this.  The instructions say :Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:
    Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions.  However there is noplace on my Macbook Air running Yosemetie that has this /Library/Applications SUpport/Bridge CC Extensions. Can anyone advise?

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Safebooting disables Launch Agents/Daemon and Third Party Kernal extensions. Here's the article to Safeboot OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support

  • Cant find non the the iphoto, imovie, and the rest of the apps in that category that originally came with my macbook pro

i purchaced my macbook pro a year a go and i had the iphoto, imovie, ilife, iwork. but the other day i mad some upgrades to my macbook, new rams and installed a 2nd SSD hard drive in place of the optical drive. it is used as a boot drive while keeping the HDD for storage. but now i cant find the iphoto, imovie, ilife, iwork. and when i go to the app store in purchased tab i cant find them as well. and when i tried to download them from the featured tab, they are listed for full price?
how can i get my apps back please ??

That would be strange since iv used iphoto. every single time I hooked my iphone to my MBP to download the pic and  that would be couple of time every weekend since i bought the laptop. And iv used Imovie several times to make videos for instagram.
But thank you for your suggestion
FYI: I never had to purchase them I just registered them when I used them for the first time. I know I used to see them all under application file but the Iwork and Ilife never been used before.

  • My macpro cant find installation information on this machine. help

i am trying to reinstall the Lion but i constantly receivin this "Cant Find installation information on this machine" i need help here.

You need to provide more information on what you are doing. Otherwise, this is how:
Reinstalling Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

  • Cannot find boot record of WD Raptor on KT4

Hello forum, this is my first post.
I have been searching Google for a solution of my problem and found this forum. However, after searching this forum and reading quite a few threads I still could not find the solution. Here's my problem:
I have a brand new WD Raptor 74 GB connected to serial 1 as a single drive. The mainboard is KT4 Ultra BSR. I have built an array by pressing ctrl-f at bootup. The only option was stripe and I have set the array (array 1) as bootable. I went into BIOS and set the array as first in boot order. Conclusion, the BIOS seems to detect my array and so far so good.
I booted Win XP installation CD and pressed F6 to install the Promise drivers. I used the newest drivers which were downloaded from MSI yesterday. Installation detected my array so I created a new partition, formatted it and the installation program copied files to that partition. When copying was finished, the computer had to be restarted and it was supposed to boot from my harddrive where it copied the files. Now to the point of my problem: BIOS has detected my array and tried to boot, but it says that boot record could not be found!  I don't know whether Windows installation has failed to create a boot record or BIOS could not detect the boot record.
I have checked the contents of C: by booting Win XP installation CD and gone into recovery mode. I would access C: and found the common files used for Windows bootup: boot.ini, ntldr, etc.
So the required files are in place, but either the boot record does not exist or BIOS cannot find it. I wonder if anyone could give me any suggestion about how to solve this problem. I want to make my SATA drive bootable.
    Thanks in advance

I have a DVD and DVD-RW connected to IDE2. I had a Hitachi HDD connected to IDE1, but it was removed before I ran Windows installation. The reason is because I want my SATA drive to have C: while having a HDD connected would mean the partions on that drive would occupy the C and D partition letters. I planned to attach the Hitachi after Windows installation has completed. BIOS has no problem detected my array, but when trying to boot from the array, the boot record cannot be found eventhough I have run the Windows installation which I thought would create the MBR automatically.
Is there any way to make my array bootable? It has been boot-enabled in the SATA settings.

What message are you receiving? You can find DiskWarrior at the Apple Store or here - http://www.alsoft.com/index.html. It's about $100US.
You can boot from the DiskWarrior CD - http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/details6.html
If DiskWarrior does not resolve the issue, then you can try an Apple Repair Station. You've lost nothing in your attempt to self-resolve because you should own the DiskWarrior software anyway.
    Good Luck,

Also, what are new MBs doing so that one doesnt have to deal with this annoying F-6 step?  For some reason I think I heard new MBs dont require this F-6 step.
for his mobo, the drivers are absolutely necessary to be loaded when SATA HDD are used. that is due onboard sata controller.
