Cant find Flash Player on my pc

Hi
I have problem when playing a game, Tankionline, i need to clear FPcash and adjust how much memory to use. I use windows 7 proffesional, internet explorer11 and have the latest FP 15.0. I have seen Pictures of some controlpanel for FP but i cant find it. Please help a total noob.

guys! Big news, somehow, i just uninstalled flash cs4 and all the flash components along with plugin and activex. Then restarted pc. Then reinstalled flash cs4, then downloaded flash player and installed it. and VOILA! It works now. i can easily open all the swf files now. No more need for the solution. although you can look for solution if in future someone else acquires the problem

The required password is your Operating System Administrator password. It has nothing to do with Adobe or your account here.

How to install whitout "Cant find flash.ocx"

This software sucks.... Why the heck does not this advertise software include a real uninstall?! It leaft some thing someware on the computer that gives me "Cant finde flash.ocx". I dont want this, and I think it is almoust criminal to inklude softvare that is i not possible for an normal person to uninstall. Some one on this forum, hopfully Adobe self, that can help me get rid of this "nonsens"

I have PSASE and it works fine on my machine. Installer and Uninstaller both work fine and I haven't noticed the same issue as you are seeing. Logging a bug with Adobe may help. You can use the following link:

I play an online game that uses flash... I usualy play off of Chrome or an app launcher called pokki
the game has been glitching for me lately, i was told by a fellow player that someone put a hack into my computer through this game, infecting a .DLL file associated with Flash player
it doesnt seem to have any effects on the flash player , but has created lots of bugs in game
Also, I cant seem to be able to open the settings for Flash Player through my control panel in the start menu
I click on Flash Player, and nothing loads....If i click on anything else in the control panel, it opens...everything but the flash player..
Ive ran Malware Anti-Malware program and also Ccleaner......cleared all the files that popped up...
But still cant access my flash player settings...I tried uninstalling Flash and reinstalling....still nothing

Can you try to open it from a web page; e.g. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html - right-click on the Flash animation and select Global Settings.

Hi,
Google Chrome pre-installs the Flash Player in their browser. That is why it is showing as installed in the screen-shot you posted. Firefox does not pre-install Flash Player. You didn't specify how you uninstalled Flash Player. Did you use the Flash Player entry in the Control Panel or the uninstaller? The uninstaller will uninstall all versions of Flash Player on the system, except for the version pre-installed with Google Chrome, however, you can disable that by navigating to chrome://plugins. You may need to click on the '+' sign next to 'details' in the upper right to view all installed plugins.

Can't find flash player to play downloaded videos

I've downloaded the latest version of flash player successfully, and I can see it on the control pannel, but it won't appear on my list of programs, or when I try to play a downloaded .flv file.
I use Windows XP Professional, version 5.1, 32 bit, Mozilla Firefox 24.0, Flash Player 11.9.900.
As a note, all videos play fine when I use Firefox, and I've already tried all the solutions offered on this page:

You won't find it in programs because it ISN'T one. It's a browser plugin, and will appear in Add-ons for Firefox (or Plugins for IE)
You can Download the Windows Flash Player 11.9 Projector which is a standalone player, but it lacks most of the controls like videos have in a web browser.
You'll find FLV files play A LOT better if you use VLC Media Player.
I've used it for FLV, MP4, MPEG, MOV, WMV, and AVI playback for years.

This gets around web sites that don't really need a new version but think they know best. If they really do require it then this hack doesn't work.

Can't find flash player

I just downloaded and installed the flash player but it dosen't appear as an icon on my desktop, dosen't appear on my programs list and when I search all files it says no results found. When I try to open a flash file, it tells me windows couldn't find a program that would open it. It does however appear on the add/remove programs list in the control panel. What's up? Hi, Glad you were able to Install that. Now I don't know what these videos are, but some websites/videos use the Shockwave Player also. Whether this is needed in addition to the Media Player, I'm not sure. I would not think so, but you could read about what the Shockwave Player does.
Another thing, is the hardware acceleration feature. Many users have turned it off. It is turned on by default.
That test site link in one of the above posts is where you can go there, right click on the Flash logo. Click on Settings, then Display Settings and you will see where you can turn it off. Try that and see if there is any improvement.

Can't find Flash Player location

I have a flash video file (.FLV) on my desktop. When I double-click to launch, Windows pops up to ask for a program association, naturally. But when I browse for Flash Player, it isn't listed. I could navigate thru Windows Explorer to the file - but I can't find it! (At least, it's not in Windows\System32\Adobe or Macromed - neither of those folders exist). Control Panel>Uninstall Programs shows both Adobe Flash Player - ActiveX and AFP - Firefox Plugin as being installed - but no location is given. And Control>Change File Associations does not even list a .FLV file type.
Where is AFP 10 installed to? And how can I associate the file type?

In between all this I came across Flash player 8 (not adobe) in my Backup files. And I removed it. I tried searching for it and it does not show, so I am assuming, it has been removed.
There was a Adobe download manager, which i uninstalled...Therez no other DLM as of now, but as u see in the add ons, it shows ( so am pretty confused here)
Yeah...also, i have to keep deleting my downloaded files in windows folder, everytime i download.
And no, therz no message while installing. it says successfully installed. I tried from the site directly and still nothing.

I'm using facebook in Opera mini on my 5320 XM, when i try to play a video on facebook it goes to the facebook videos and i get a message to update my Flash player. When i click on the update button it takes me to the normal Adobe website for Flash update on windows etc. Can anyone help please ?

Unable to find where to download the free Flash Player Plug In that is requested by AT&T to view a trouble shooting video on a home land line. I called the Adobe help 1-800-642-3623 number but no one answers the call , it just rings or music plays. I held for 8 minutes
