  • Access 2013: can't find language dll msain.dll when double-clicking acce-file in explorer

    Hi,
    When I want to open an acce-file by double-clicking it in Windows explorer it get the error:
    'Can't find Language DLL msain.dll'
    The strange thing (IMO) is that when I open the accde-file from within Access, it opens fine. Also clicking on the accde-file in the 'recent'-part of the pinned to the taskbar Access-icon, opens the file just fine.
    (Office 2013 - 32 bit on Windows 7 - 64 bit)
    Anyone know a solution for this behaviour?

    Hi,
    To the error massage, copy msain.dll from another computer and place inside the %installdir%/1033 folder.
    If it's not work, I recommend you repair Access.
    Thus, there are similar issues, we can refer to :

  • Cant find regutils.dll installing on NT4

    Hi all,
    Am trying to install J2SE on NT4 sp6a. Fails with cant find "c:\TEMP\regutils.dll"
    Any ideas?
    Regards
    Jamie

    I've run into the exact same problem. If I find a
    workaround, I'll post it here.Make that three of us. I just tried to install 'j2sdk-1_4_2_03-windows-i586-p.exe' on NT sp6a and had the same problem. I also have a (different) problem installing 'j2eesdk-1_4-windows.exe' on the same machine. But, I have no difficulty installing 'j2sdk-1_3_1_10-windows-i586.exe' on that same machine.
    I've noticed that the installation notes at the download location mention that it's an installation file for XP and 2000 - but they don't mention NT. Is is possible that NT is no longer supported by Sun Java?

    LizMaddock,
    you can reset the input source to Spanish by selecting the Keyboard pane of System Preferences, selecting the Input Sources tab, and pressing the “+” button in the lower-left corner to select one of the Spanish input sources. The “Spanish – ISO” input source is most similar to the physical Spanish keyboard layout.

  • What to do on the message " AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Cannot find starting point of [sqlite3_wal_checkpoint] from DLL SQLite3.dll

    컴퓨터를 부팅하면 다음 메시지가 나오네요 " AppleSyncNotifier.exe – 시작시점 sqlite3_wal_checkpoint을(를) DLL SQLite3.dll에서 찾을 수 없습니다."
    Upon booting, I see the message " AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Cannot find starting point of [sqlite3_wal_checkpoint] from DLL SQLite3.dll

    With that one, I'd first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows. Does that clear up the error?

  • Cannot find NT Oracle Server DLL OCI.DLL

    Hello
    I am getting the following error when trying to execute a DS job from Designer in the error log.
    "Cannot find NT Oracle Server DLL <OCI.DLL>. Please make sure that Oracle has been installed and the PATH variable points to the correct lib directories."
    1. DS is on Windows
    2. DS repo is sql server
    3. Source is Oracle 10g db, target is Sql server db.
    4. Oracle 32 bit full client is installed on the job server (10.2.0.1.0)
    5. I have checked the SAP note 1295918 and I think it does not apply to the version of Oracle client we have and also it is already working in our SANDBOX environment, also our install location is NOT under the c:\program files\  folder
    We are seeing this error only in our DEV DS box, we have a similar setup in the SANDBOX DS and that job executes successfully. I have compared the oracle client, DS and job server configurations between the 2 boxes and they are the same.
    - SQLPLUS connection works from both the servers
    - I am able to connect to the database and look at all the tables within DS designer from both the servers and import them into the DS repo
    - No ORACLE_HOME was set when the installation was done. I created a ORACLE_HOME variable and assigned the install location, but still getting the same error
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks
    Dinesh

    Dinesh,
    When you added ORACLE_HOME to the environment, the environment settings were updated for the OS.  However, the job server still had the old settings in memory.  That is why you needed to restart the job server before DS would recognize ORACLE_HOME.

  • Cannot find NT oracle server DLL oci.dll (BODI 1112172)

    Guys,
    I am trying to install Data Services 4.1 client tools and I get the error message Cannot find NT oracle server DLL oci.dll (BODI 1112172). I checked the "Path" variable in the system parameter and it contains the folder that has the oci.dll file. Does anyone have ideas on this?
    Thanks,
    Doniv

    So Here is the screenshot of the exact error I am facing. I am able to log in to the DS client tools using Windows AD and able to see the list of repos on the server. However, when I select any of the repos I get the error message below.
    The "Path" roles in the evironment variable as seen in the screenshot below has the folder that contains oci.dll file.
    Help is greatly appreciated.

  • Could not find Function DisplayTimerMsgImgPopup in DLL

    I just upgraded to TS 4.2.1 from 3.1.  I created a new sequence, in which, I put a message popup.  When I try to run that step, I get the following error: Could not find Function DisplayTimerMsgImgPopup in DLL (or external module) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2.1\Components\NI\StepTypes\MsgBox\msgbox.dll.  I used Dependency Walker to examine the DLL in that location and that function does not exist.  It seems that since the message popup is a selectable Insert Step type, that function should be part of the base setup distributed in the installation.  Why does the Message Popup try to use that function if it is not included in the DLL?  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Tracey

    It's there in my 4.2 installation. Perhaps you copied your 3.1 steps to the 4.2 folder? What's the size of the dll and date?

  • I downloaded Pimsleur foreign language mp3's and put them on my iPad but now cant find them.  Any advice on how to access these files?!  Thanks

    I downloaded foreign language mp3's to my iPad and iPod nano and cant find either one of them on the device even though they both claim to be there under "other" memory when I plug them into my computer.  Any advice on how to find these files on my iPad/iPod device?

    I put them in iTunes and then dragged them to my devices.  On my iPad it looked like it put it under the 'purchased' tab but I looked in the music app and purchased tab and still cant fine them anywhere.  So I tried to move them over again but it says they are already there do I want to skip or duplicate.  Also, when my iPad is attached to my computer, I cant find them either.....

  • Unable to load DLL 'OraOps10.dll with a twist

    Hi,
    So, I have been struggling with an issue for the last couple of weeks that is sending my mad. I receive the following error when attempting to make a connection to a database with my web app:
    Error message:
    "Unable to load DLL 'OraOps10.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: (0x8007007E)"
    I am using
    Windows 2008 32bit
    Oracle Client 11g
    .net v2
    IIS7
    My apps called CMA, slimier to a more well known app NCSuite
    My connection to the database seems to working doing a simple test with a .udl file.
    I have attempted the following:
    Full re-installing the Oracle drivers following online instruction to clear reg and assembly, several times
    Setting permissions on the folder to beyond what they should be
    Setting permissions on any folder that refers to oracle
    Tried installing ODP.NET just on the off chance it might help
    Had a good mess to see if it was something to do with the 64bit issue, but obviously not as Im 32bit
    Unfortunately earlier version of the Oracle client are not compatible
    One thing that confuses me is why my app would refer to OraOps10.dll rather than the OraOps11w.dll thats being used. Only Oracle 11g has ever been installed on this machine as its a fresh build. The application itself does not directly refer to the OraOps10.dll.
    Any thoughts?
    Regards

    Hi,
    I'm a bit confused by your statement "+Tried installing ODP.NET just on the off chance it might help+". You can only get that error if you're using ODP.NET in the first place. A UDL file would test an oledb connection, so it's good just to make sure the client libraries are there and tnsnames configured correctly, but otherwise a bit irrelevant to this error.
    Anyway, that error occurs when ODP either cant find it's dependencies.. either the right OraOps or client dlls, or finds them but finds the wrong ones. OraOps11 (without the 'w') gets loaded when your application loads the 1.x ODP.NET provider. The provider for .net 2.x and higher loads oraops11w.dll.
    The usual cause of this error is from apps including Oracle.DataAccess.dll in the app bin directory, rather than letting it get picked up from the GAC.
    I'd start by
    1) searching your machine for all Oracle.DataAccess.dll, and rename any outside the Oracle home and/or GAC.
    2) if that doesnt do it, use a tool like Process Explorer (http://sysinternals.com) to find out where Oracle.DataAccess.dll is being loaded from, and what version. You need to have a matching OraOps that is the same version as Oracle.DataAccess.dll they actually need to be a matched pair (check the date of the dlls), but its the mismatched version that causes the error.
    3) if neither of the above help, use Process Monitor to watch the dll's loaded 'live' to see if there is some sort of permissions issue, but the well known permissions issue that you've probably found information about was specific to 9.2 and 10.2 client, and is not an issue with 11g. That is to say, the OUI sets permissions properly in 11g, but it's still possible an IIS admin may have cranked permissions down too tight.
    Additionally,
    1) What version of ODP was your app compiled with?
    2) What version of .NET framework?
    3) What version of 11g client do you have installed, and what did you install it from? ie, 11107.0 full client? or 11107.20 odac bundle?
    4) The ODP forum is located here: ODP.NET
    Hope it helps,
    Greg

  • Cant find where .asp page is pulling code from.

    I am not an ASP person, but I do realize that an asp page
    bring in code from several aspx pages, at least thats my experience
    with the site in question. The
    site is
    myspinedoctors.com, on the left side is a menu...Home, About us,
    Our Phys.... etc.. the last item in the menu is Employee Login, I
    want to change where that link goes to but I cant find where to
    change it...
    From the code:
    <tr>
    <td>
    <input type="image"
    name="ctl00$Menu1$EmployeeLoginButton"
    id="ctl00_Menu1_EmployeeLoginButton"
    onmouseover="this.src='images/menu_employee_login_over.gif';ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Loc ationphotos1_LocationImage.src='images/rotate_employee_login.jpg';"
    onmouseout="this.src='images/menu_employee_login.gif';"
    src="images/menu_employee_login.gif" style="border-width:0px;"

    Thanks in advance,

    Could be. That site is .NET.

  • Mid 2010 macbook pro wont boot, cant find hhd

    I got a 13' Macbook pro, after a kernal panic, the computer stuck at the same page: u need to restart your computer. Later i run restore disk, but is seems cant find my hhd. Most likely i need to chaneg a new HHD?? I tried to search on apple website how much is the HHD but cant find any info. Is there one had same problem and got their HHD changed? Should I fix it thru apple or should i get the HHD myself and find someone to put it in for me? I am out of warranty. Really need help ~~ Thanks

    Later i run restore disk,
    Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
    Boot up from the install disc #1.
    Run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
    Select your language.
    Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
    Select Disk Utility.
    Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
    Click Repair Disk.
    Restart your computer when done.
    Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751 and restart your computer.
    If you still cannot find your hard drive, Diskwarrior has been known to do so.
